Would the mind be able to come up w/anything so beautiful w/out referencing the sunrise?

I went down the center of VT today- it was beautiful. 2National forests and lots of mountains. Quiet, not built up and not a busy traffic day. We visited a neat goat farm and picked up 2baby buckling for future stud purposes. I’m impressed w/my middle daughter. She’s blooming before my eyes. Late blooming lol- but more beautiful b/c of it. As awful as the politics of this state are- it’s a great place.

As we already knew, TFG improperly held onto sensitive government records after he left the White House.

“I took the documents; I’m allowed to,” Trump told CNN's Kaitlan Collins, asserting that he had “the absolute right” to do so under the Presidential Records Act. Unfortunately for our stupidest president, the law, enacted in 1978 after the Watergate scandal, gave control of presidential records to the government itself — not to individual presidents.

Fun times are here for Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Watch Chimp Empire on Netflix. It's about chimpanzee societies in conflict. But it's really about Humana.

According to PoliticusUSA, the ratings are in for CNN’s Trump town hall, and the special only drew the audience for an average Tucker Carlson show (when TC had a show on Fox at 8:00 PM). CNN's town hall with Donald Trump averaged 3.1 million total viewers. The event out-rated Fox and MSNBC, as expected, but these are not 2015/16 level numbers for Trump — not even close. CNN was expecting a ratings bonanza after the E. Jean Carroll verdict, but instead, Trump drew fewer viewers than the last CNN town hall that he did in March 2016 (3.2 million).

THIS is why Progressives are nuts, and should be put in insane asylums. The hags on The View seem to think there was NO negativity in the WORLD until Trump. Notice they don't even mention how Biden is destroying the country, and illegals are pouring in, in a planned invasion. As long as they aren't in THEIR back yard. They are as obsessed as Chucky, gadfly and a few others here, who can't get Trump out of their heads...

They all need help.

Gadfly, I dont remember Trump doing a town hall event, May of 2015.

But how did Trumps ratings compare to all the other 2024 candidates televised events this month?

The PRA has never been challenged on a Constitutional level. Separation of powers is clear, one branch cannot dictate to another, or limit the constitutional enumerated powers.

We know the National Archivist went directly to DoJ with his complaint. Something that has never been done. Or if it were, the AG correctly advised them to negotiate any differences of opinions.

We know the Presidents power to declassify is plenary power. Exactly like pardons. While written rules exist, they do no constrain the President. President Trump posses no classified documents.

PRA while most likely is unconstitutional, it is civil, not criminal law.

Trump has done nothing all Presidents have done.

This morning at the heart of ATL, I was waiting on a red light to make a left turn when the guy behind me started to honk the horn, appearing to urge me to make the left turn on red. Granted both streets were one way, but I have not heard that turning left on red is a thing, under any circumstance.

Maybe it’s a grass roots movement, attempting to make enough people to do it, so it will be allowed. I wouldn’t do it for several reasons of which having a passenger was top among them. That was not the time to add a feather to my cap.

In Texas, the law allows for turning left on red in the specific case of both streets being one-way to allow a left turn without crossing traffic.

Left on red is legal in many (most? all?) states if you're going from a one-way street onto a one-way street. For the same reason right on red is a commonly legal--you're not crossing oncoming traffic.

That last picture shows how amazing the i14 is in the right hands. I entered an online contest and won which would have given me enough money to get an i14. But you know what a swamp the internet can be and the whole thing turned out to be a cruel delusion. So I still have a dream. That's good at my age. I thought I was goin to be juggling new tires v. new brakes and similar practical issues till I reached heaven (where they'll hand me an i14 as I pass in (if I do) and, Oh, what a sunrise there!) But maybe I'll get an i14 here if the Dems stay in charge, raise the debt ceiling and then pass out more money. They like to say "Heavens on earth." Is that just another cruel delusion? We'll see.

Just for fun I Googled Gadfly’s quote from his post above at 10:26.

There’s only one site that Google could find for this direct quote. In fact they apologized to me for not finding much on the subject.

The quote is from justice-integrity.org.

If you want some insight into the fevered swamp where Gadfly gets his material, check it out.

But be prepared to take a shower afterward.

Jersey Fled said...

P.S.

Note how Gadfly’s quote references Kaitlan Collins’ interview with Trump on CNN. The full quotation did not come from that source. Citing Collins and CNN draws you to the false conclusion that that’s where the full quote came from. Cute. That’s how propaganda works.

As best I can tell, the quote came from the Wayne Madsen report. It’s available to members only.

Madsen’s Wikipedia page describes him as “an American journalist and conspiracy theorist” and “an odd individual" devoted to writing in an area that "teeters on a slippery slope”.

You really need to get better material, Gadfly.

Is anybody else as sick and tired of the Progressives courting the illegal vote??
