Extending a thought I had on an earlier post. Do people on the left know how much pain and suffering their policies do and just consider that necessary costs for the greater utopia they envision or are they truly unaware of those policies because they refuse to admit that what they think they know is actually false? And which is the worse condemnation?

Yesterday it seemed the Russians were withdrawing from Bahkmut and sending in Chechens. Today it seems that the whole scuffle was some sort of high level Russian-type negotiation with Putin about sector control by different generals. It's strange that the happiness and progress toward a better life of millions of Ukrainians is threatened by an Army led by generals who squabble in public with their political leader in this way. Live and learn.

I much enjoyed Senator Tommy Tuberville’s take on Megan Rapinoe:

“The problem is she’s now voicing her opinion that, ‘Hey, trans boys should be able to compete against women.’ Well, if that had happened during her career, she’d have been working at Safeway or Piggly Wiggly. She’d never gotten on the field, but now that she’s retired, ‘Yeah, I’m all for this.’ And that’s the biggest bunch of crap I’ve ever heard.”

He might be wrong to the extent that she might — might! — have made the national team, but be far down the bench, depending on how many biological men came out for the team.

However it’s not at all unusual for liberals to strongly advocate for extreme positions when there is no chance those positions will impact them or their families.

Went to my granddaughter's first communion today. It was at one of those white supremacist Latin masses. The darkest skin there belonged to a one of those white supremacists from the Indian subcontinent- didn't get close enough to discern whether they were Indian or Pakistani, but no doubt at all that's where they were from. Much darker then the two families of African-American white supremacists who attended the Latin mass today. The majority of people attending were of some skin color halfway between my family of pallor and the family from the Indian subcontinent. I would say roughly 90% fit the description white- because most Hispanics view themselves as white regardless of actual skin color. Of the 400 or so there, with 13 new communicants, I'd estimate maybe 30-40% obviously European in origin, 30-40% likely Hispanic by appearance, 5% African-American, with the remainder Asian or from the Indian subcontinent.

It would be difficult to find a more diverse group of FBI designated white supremacists. They have a local Latin Mass Society to promote the Latin Mass. The Latin Mass at the this church, and others that hold the mass in Latin, is the one most attended by families with children. And there's solid evidence the FBI is attempting to surveil this group. Lately someone from Washington DC (which could be a tell) with a whole 3 months worth of social media history (not suspicious at all, right?) has been in contact with them wanting to come down to one of their Latin Mass Society meetings and talk to the members about starting their own. Like they're incapable of getting that information from a Latin Mass group closer then Florida to DC. Like, for example, the Arlington Latin Mass Society which just now took me a whole less then 30 seconds to google.

Traditional church service are the ones attracting young people who stick to religion. Even true in Protestant churches. Among the churches in my small rural town in CNY, the mainline denominations are bereft of the young- the United Methodist Church has less then a dozen registered in the congregation, all over 70 years old. At 67 if I joined (my wife is RC, I'm not) I'd lower the average age. If you pass by the bible thumper fire and brimstone church as it lets out on Sundays that's where all the young families with children are.

My parent's generation did a poor job of passing on their religion to their children. And my generation has done worse. That's in general- some, like my wife, did a fantastic job. It seems the ones who did a good job are the ones with large numbers of grandchildren. I'm up to 7. My youngest, age 23, now has a serious girlfriend, my middlest has a wedding date set, and my daughter and son-in-law are trying to get her pregnant.

I saw a chart a while back that showed that in 20 years the middle part of the country will be majority Mormon, the Eastern part including OH, PA and NY majority Mennonite/Amish- because they are the two groups having children. My Mennonite neighbors are up to 12- and there are more children in their schools then the public schools. In the last 20 years the local HS graduating class has dropped from 100 each year to 35 last year.

The one constant in the world is change. I intend on being around in 20 years to check predictions.

Our dog Sadie, a 10-lb chiweenie, has a new name: Destructo-Dog. She has a habit of dumping trash cans while looking for good eats while we're attending Seattle Mariners games. Yesterday, she out did herself. We have a bookcase in the front entryway to hold dog items, like leaches and treats. She dumped some of the containers and the artificial plant on top the bookcase. The leaves and "dirt" were everywhere in the front hall, as were the contents of the doggie boxes. She managed to find and open a purse of Greenie treats. All of those are in her stomach now.

TEXAS PERP WAKE UP
The man who police believe killed at least eight people at a mall in Allen, Texas on Saturday afternoon wore a tactical vest with a “RWDS” patch on it, The acronym, which stands for “Right Wing Death Squad,” is a popular insignia among white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and paramilitarists. Wonder if Tucker has one? You only see what you wanna see.

Just like all the other murders being done by progressives that the media tries to pass off as White Supremacy, now they are trying to tell us a Mexican Gang member is one.

"A tattoo on his left hand can be seen and some believe this to be related to the mark of the Pure Tango Blast gang.

The gang Is made up of mainly Hispanic members and is known to exist in a number of major Texas cities including Dallas.

Dallas is around 30 miles south of the Allen mall."

Of course, you won't hear this on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, or any other progressive channel that is trying to set Trump and his supporters up.

For those who said, “What’s next, he was a Russia sympathizer?” Well yes possibly, looks like it. There are also pictures circulating on Twitter of him with his SS and Swastika tattoos.

“Mauricio Garcia, 33, maintained a profile on the Russian social networking platform OK.RU, including posts referencing extremist online forums, such as 4chan, and content from white nationalists, including Nick Fuentes, an antisemitic white nationalist provocateur.”

I felt badly about the overweight snark. I’m fortunate plus I’ve lost post menopausal weight and I’m very happy about that. My full gallbladder made me sick as hell- w/it removed I’m so much better w/my old energy level returned.

As pretty as the +sized woman is- everything the others said was true.
Except the snark.
I’m self- deprecating - I slight myself so you don’t have to. A defense mechanism using humor as my armor along w/showing my underbelly so no one searches for it.

Anyway- interesting.
