"A cat goes missing, a marriage breaks down, a large, extravagantly boastful frog visits a meek bank-teller and stresses that he must assist in the defeat of a destructive giant subterranean worm."

The Guardian summarizes "Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman" — an animated movie based on Murakami stories.

It's nice to see Gorn finally get some acting work since his storied fight with Captain Kirk on location at Vasquez rocks in the 1960s.

This sounds like a perfectly normal Japanese story line to be honest...

No, I don't want to see an english dub of a Japanese movie. I'll wait till the DVD comes out. I'd rather listen to japanese voices and read the subtitles.

Of course, if this is an Anglo-American movie of the novel, that doesn't apply.
