I’ve listen to that podcast. 4 grown men acting like a kindergarten toilet training session. Definitely not up to normal standards of the JRE podcast - but then it’s just Rogan and friends having a good time and no more. ( but they admitted they way overdid the shrooms in the episode )
Next thing you know, you'll be avoiding Thanksgiving and Christmas altogether.
Is it true that women often have as many as a hundred or a thousand things to worry about on their minds at once, whereas the range for men is a lower number, fairly often bouncing down to zero?
What I was really looking for, going to to the JRE YouTube page this morning, was the part of Episode #1954 where Joe goes on at length about the song "You're So Vain" and absolutely raves about how beautiful Carly Simon is.
I really do not understand the appeal of either Joe Rogan or Russell Brand. Rogan with an interesting guest can be tolerable, but great? No. Brand is insufferable under all circumstances. Perhaps the problem is me.
Ann, it looks like the Powerful JRE channel on Youtube only clips 1 or 2 sections per full episode. Might have to find that section on Spotify only. I listened to that episode and they were both raving about Carly Simon.

I don’t think Spotify lets you clip out something to embed. I’ve heard thee episode. I just wanted a way to share it and it might have been the clip they chose.
>BTW I had never noticed that Simon was considered especially beautiful.<
Nor had I. It is surprising. She's a Steven Tyler doppelgänger - and Steve ain't anything to write home about. Ah well, eye of the beholder and all that...

I love JRE Toons... I'd rather watch those than the actual 3-hr Rogan shows.

Before I got to the credits, I was thinking, "Wow, someone does a really great Joe Rogan voice impersonation."
JRE toons are the highest comedy artform available in this era. Our inner male fourteen year-old is immortal.
Go get the one with Joey Diaz on the bus. Boffo. JRE is large, and contains multitudes.
Tomorrow, Eric Weinstein! (Eric is pissed, and here's why *three hours*) It's why we listen. It's why the legacy media can't keep up.
They're all fine. The cartoon doesn't show the cold plunge they did right after and they took ivermectin before they got started.

He did that while on mushrooms, right?
I didn't know about the 'toons.
More fun for them to experience than for me to watch; rather like the live show, and other peoples' drug trips generally.

Different episode

'beautiful Carly Simon'
"He did that on mushrooms, right?"
'Different episode.'
Methinks the Prof may have missed the joke. I never did mushrooms, but beer goggles can have the same effect.

Yes, I understood that, but thank you. It was a homely-ass Carly Simon joke, with mushroom thread topicality.

I get the intended joke but thought it included the fact that they were known to be on mushrooms.
BTW I had never noticed that Simon was considered especially beautiful. I thought it was more of an interesting style reminiscent of Mick Jagger.

“Manure” by George Costanza
Ma and newer is actually pretty refreshing.
"Fun guy" by Cosmo Kramer
Elaine: funguses
Kramer: "fun guy"
It's in the presentation.
Whatever.
Also, Joe Rogan? Still don't get the attraction. I've already been through middle school.
“BTW I had never noticed that Simon was considered especially beautiful.”
I certainly considered her such back in the day.
#1954? With Bert? I haven't listened to that one yet. But I did shots with Bert once. It was epic.
