My sister and I used to send morning haikus to e/other. We never missed a new day. It’s a curious thing how such nice habits slowly become lost, somehow we stopped doing this.
She sent me a lovely haiku of her morning sunrise, this morning. I love that people share experiences. It gives a view into others’ hearts and minds- inner thoughts. Sometimes words-a 1000words- sometimes a picture of a breathtakingly sweet dawning day.
A hue of velvet- Darkness a gradual fade- Morning becomes known.
That’s my return haiku of my sunless sunrise- as we don’t see it until it’s face is above the hill behind us. It’s all good- the sunset skies are my kiss goodnight. It’s cool how my sister wakes w/the sun and I put it to bed. We are very different in so many ways lol

Haikus confuse me
Too often they make no sense
Hand me the pliers
This is the only bumper sticker I have ever put on one of my vehicles.
Good thing you didn’t actually need a wrench lol
