Goodbye to Lisa Marie Presley.

AP reports: "Lisa Marie Presley — the only child of Elvis Presley — died Thursday after being hospitalized earlier that day, her mother said in a statement. The singer was 54. 'It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,' Priscilla Presley said in a statement Thursday evening. 'She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.'"

How sad, she had more than her fair share of tragedy in her life. I hope that no one jumps to some conclusion that she died because she was vaccinated. But I wouldn’t be surprised if very shortly someone will mention it.

I recommend Baz Luhrmann's recent, fantastic movie Elvis to everyone here.

Austin Butler, the actor who played Elvis, was born to play the role. I am sure he will win all the Best Actor awards for the year.

======

I assume that Luhrmann hired the real Priscilla Presley as a consultant for the movie. The movie's dialogue includes several private conversations between Priscilla and Elvis. She tried to get him to agree to go into a rehabilitation program to get off his pills.

======

Many years ago, I read Priscilla Presley's autobiography, Elvis and Me. I remember that the book was very interesting.

Cardiac arrest, like her father. Pharmaceuticals may have been involved, as in her father's demise, but one suspects the untested and probably worthless COVID jab was the fatal factor.

Acknowledged.

I turned to Wikipedia, and it appears Lisa Marie didn't have a history of drug use. Sleuthing as to what could make a 54-year-old woman have a heart attack.

I'm not a doctor, but it just seems highly irregular.

So much tragedy in that family. RIP

Inga writes, "I hope that no one jumps to some conclusion that she died because she was vaccinated."

The only unwarranted conclusion jumped to is the claim that a candidate vaccine without a long history of animal testing and clinical trials is safe and effective.

Lisa Marie had been married to Michael Jackson and then to Nic Cage.

I guess she wasn't Asian enough for Nic.

I don't know why it couldn't work out with Michael.

My partner had several run ins with her father. She was running the floral shop at the Hilton at the time. She did his flowers whenever he was in town. So, he would call her up on occasion, and they would talk a little. One time she told him that when she was little, she and her sisters would put on lip stick when watching him on TV, hoping that she was the one he was looking at. But then she grew up. He said that he wasn’t sure if he should feel complimented or insulted. She replied that was what was, and he could make of it what he wanted. He gave her two front row tickets and a backstage pass. The woman she brought along had been in love with him for years, and couldn’t believe she got any tickets, because his show was sold out. She had thought of bringing her father along, but decided that he might jump up on stage and make a fool of himself. In any case, the concert was great, and afterwords, in his dressing room was better. He gave her a couple of the scarves he had worn on stage. And commented that if he had know how attractive she was, he wouldn’t have been insulted.

He was one of the nicest stars she ever met (and at the Vegas Hilton, she met a lot of them). Warm and generous. He repeatedly tried to tip her, and she responded that she worked at a floral shop, and not as a cocktail waitress. And sexy as all heck. Esp when she met him, after performing, with pheromones rolling off him.

Both her father and his brother were serious Elvis fans, so no one was surprised when her uncle named his daughter, born 6 months after Lisa Marie, after her. And that daughter named her dog “Presley”.

Her father and paternal grandfather died from cardiac arrest at young ages, 42 and 46; she was 54 so she outlived them.

I saw recent photos of her and thought how sad she looked. But then I looked at an old photo of her with Elvis and Priscilla and even as a little girl she had those very sad eyes. She was only five when her parents divorced and nine when her father died. I hope that she can finally get to have her time with her dad, if that's what she wanted. She had prodigious talent but I think she was always overshadowed by his legacy.

Life must have been really hard with an income of a million dollars per year from Elvis Presley Enterprises. Her estate has a 15% share in Elvis Enterprises and she owned Graceland.

Her recent images seem to indicate that she may have suffered from anorexia nervosa. But who can explain her marriage to Michael Jackson, who sought little boys?

Money can’t buy happiness. She lost her father at a very young age and her son a few years ago. She had legitimate reasons to be sad.

Gadfly, I agree. She had no more tragedy in her life than a hundred other people I've known personally.

It's the interest in, if not obsession with, the private lives of "celebrities" that I find to be weird.

Not necessarily irregular if there’s a strong history of heart disease in her family, which appears to be the case. My sister survived a heart attack around age 60 about 15 years ago. For a long time, there was something of a myth that women don’t get heart attacks. The truth is that heart disease is and has been the leading cause of death for men and women for a long time.

I can't imagine ever overcoming the suicide of a child. Read that was two years ago her son died. Elvis' mom Gladys died of heart problems, Elvis' heart problems drug induced of course, and now Lisa Marie. Perhaps a hereditary condition.

Some stars and their families get the privilege of strapping on a pair of wax wings and soaring to heights none of us will ever know. I think the fascinating question is if you were given a pair of wax wings, would you take a low altitude glide, or would you sail toward the son?

Elvis...Icarus... I see similarities in the myth.

Family history of heart disease, long history of opioid and cocaine abuse, and yet people here immediately say it's the vaccine - even though they know nothing about her vaccine or COVID history. Face it, guys: you're not skeptics, and you're not just trying to get at the facts. You've joined a cult.

One commenter spends thirty seconds on Wikipedia and says she had no history of drug abuse, despite her admitting to five trips to rehab as an adult and once as a child, over a variety of drugs. Another commenter cites anorexia nervosa, even though she didn't look exceptionally thin. That's the commitment to factual accuracy among the anti-vax.

She found her father dead on the floor when she was eight, and she lost her son to drugs and suicide two years ago, and some commenters here are trying to say, "meh, nothing tragic about that." How terribly cruel.

I understand the impulse to write things like that. Often I write a post and I just know it's going to trigger somebody to say X. I could write something like: And I know someone's going to say X. Ask yourself if it's worth it, especially where you are the first commenter -- or one of the first -- commenters and you are causing the very discord you're afraid someone else will call. It's as if you think you're inoculating yourself.

I don’t agree that I’m causing discord and that is not my intention. If you called out everyone who causes discord on these threads you would be calling out your commenters many times a day, everyday, which you don’t. And many times over the years I’ve thought no, it’s not “worth it”.

It had to be stressful to live a life as Elvis Pressley's daughter. The spotlight was on her from the time she was born and everything she did was scrutinized. I feel for her children, especially the twin daughters to which they spotlight will now be directed. Here they are trying to mourn the loss of their mother (at such an impressionable age--when a mother's advice can be so valuable), and the media is hounding them, discussing their inheritance, etc.

I'm so glad I'm just a nobody living in a "nothing of importance" rural area where our local paper is only produced once a week because about the only thing to report is that one of our dirt-roads flooded last week and people had to take a detour until the county could get it repaired.

I fully believe the blood clots and heart conditions cause by the "vaccine" are real and are being covered up.

But not in the case of the Presleys. Elvis' grandparents were cousins, and there is speculation of a medical defect. I'd figure this has more to do with Gladys Presley, Elvis Presley, and Lisa Marie's hear related deaths that anything.

Let's not make the same mistake the Covidians made. They would classify a car crash and a gun shot death as a "covid" death. It blew all credibility. Although it was done on purpose...which is even worse.

In the case of the mRNA injuries, that data is on our side and it is real. People just need to hear it, and that's something the MSM will not allow. Only on Twitter is it now allowed.

Actually… as I have shared here in the past, I do think that the virus engineered in a lab, research funded by Fauci, who manipulated the definition of “gain of function” to get around the legal ban on such research, which cost millions of lives, probably killed my mother, who died of a heart attack soon after recovering from COVID. I have little doubt that the monstrosity cooked up with bat snot and a gene splicer is responsible for many heart attacks. That does not let the vaccine off the hook without investigation. It was always experimental and never should have been mandatory for anybody.

Umm. no, just no.

The unvaccinated who survive covid show no evidence of an increase in heart disease. That statistic belongs solely to those who are vaccinated. Nice try though.

Am I going to link to the studies? No. If you've been following all along, you know where to find them. Alex Berenson, Steve Kirsch, Walter Chestnut, Paul Elias Alexander, Robert Malone, and others have been dissecting the numbers and statistics from the beginning. And the numbers are clearly showing- the vaccine is doing more harm then good.

Did the vaxx contribute to the death of Lisa Marie Presley? Based on what I've learned about her life by reading just the comments here (from all the others who wanted to make their points by looking up the detals) it may have, it may not have. An autopsy might tell. But one won't be done. Because like with a lot of other recent deaths, the powers that be don't actually want to know.

Contrast and compare with all of those who claimed the unvaccinated were responsible for transmission and overcrowding hospitals, if not outright misogynists and racists. Or should be banned from getting medical care. Or should be fined or jailed. Or should be hunted down and thrown into camps.

Only now is it somehow impolite to inquire about vaccination status.
