An interesting take on haiku in which I agree......

I liked the documentary about the Hotel Adlon, but not everybody is as into Weimar Germany as I am.
Now I'm watching Yellowjackets, the show about the girls' soccer team that crashes in the Canadian wilderness and the women who carry the secret of what happened there into adult life. It gets more and more rubbishy with each episode, but I'm hooked on the mystery.
I had planned to watch The Banshees of Inisherin tonight, but I can't really get into a movie about how Brendan Gleeson doesn't want to be Colin Farrell's friend.
I missed the death of the deposed King of Greece last week because my father was in the hospital after a mild stroke and I didn't check the DailyMail. I've probably told this story here before, but in the summer of '66, the four minesweepers my father commanded paid a call in Piraeus and hosted some Greek naval officers for lunch aboard. A pretty girl in a bikini waterskied by the ship, and some sailors whistled at her. The senior Greek officer asked my father to please stop his men from whistling at their queen. One wonders if the monarchs were a little too modern for their people.

I wonder how the many thousands of illegal immigrants who have resided in New York City for years, delivering our Chinese food, washing our dishes, and watching our children feel about this new group of illegals who are put up in fancy hotels and are freely given so much food that they throw most of it out.
One comment I recently read caused me to pause. That was the transgender push for mutilation of children will require them to be lifetime medical patients, as in forever.

We're painting the whole house at the moment - I did the exterior 2 years ago, now it's time for the inside. Lots of work, but very satisfying when completed.
It would be fun if all the J6 camera footage were dumped into the public domain and then —through the miracle of crowdsourcing— there would emerge the Documentary From Hell, showing what really happened and (probably) featuring Ray Epps and his FBI buddies.

On days it's raining or too cold for a sunrise picture, perhaps substitute in a picture or two of Gina Lollobrigida from her early or mid-career. I'm quite sure that would nicely fill the space left vacant by a lack of sun or warmth.
