I'm reading "Chris Christie’s niece shouted ‘Do you know who I am?’ during violent plane meltdown" (NY Post).
The niece, Shannon Epstein, had confronted some other passengers, presumably because they looked Hispanic, and asked them if they were smuggling cocaine.
I just want to note some things she's accused of yelling:
1. “Do you guys think I have cocaine in my p—y?”
2. "I’m a lesbian. Is that it? Do you want put your dick in me? That’s it, isn’t it. That’s what this is all about? You want to put your dick in my mouth, don’t you? You’re so f—ed, you asshole."
3. "By this time tomorrow you will both be in jail. What the f— did I do?
4. "Do you know who I am? I’m related to some very powerful people and I need to get back on that plane to New Jersey. Do you know who I am? I’m Chris Christie’s daughter and you’re so f—ed. You will lose your job over this s—. I know Donald Trump.”
5. “Wow, you guys like Chris Christie? He’s f—ing friends with f—ing Donald Trump.”

The only reason we are hearing about Christie’s niece is her reference to Trump. That is Hooker’s favorite part of the story. Obviously the Trump Team didn’t vet Chris well enough or they would have discovered the niece is a troubled person and obviously that’s Trump’s fault. Airtight logic April! Only slightly less embarrassing than the actual on-plane meltdown is the desperation in “but Trump”ing the story.

Politicians are rude, obnoxious jerks. And they're rewarded for behavior that would get a normal person fired from his job (or canceled by social media). An example.
When Joe Biden called military personnel “stupid bastards” and insulted their service, legacy media fawned over him. "Biden is tough." "We need a man like Biden who won't take the Republican's non-sense." How about Amy Klobuchar? This woman has an explosive temper. But Ms. Klobuchar is not unreasonable or too sensitive and she never overreacts! Instead, we are told that, Ms. Klobuchar fights for our rights and wants women to be treated equally. Really? Beating up a 22 year old intern is fighting for our rights?
Chris Christie is probably a terrible person as well. It is at least possible that his personality rubbed off on his children (or niece).

The KAL nut-rage woman was a senior executive and a member of the KAL "royal family." As far as I recall, she wasn't throwing a fit because she wasn't recognised (the air crew probably knew who she was) but because she was outraged that the staff at her family's company weren't providing high quality service.
Not to say she behaved appropriately, of course, but it's categorically different from some nobody politician or actor shrieking "do you know who I am?" It's more like Steve Jobs haranguing and belittling his staff until they cry because he doesn't think their work is good enough. It's bad, but a different kind of misbehaviour.
Losing your "sh*t" in an airport or on an airplane. Not worth it. You will lose, every time.

Delta flight attendant lore has it that on, a "full" flight, a Kerry-like asshole passenger demanded his bulky luggage be allowed in the cabin and not stored in the baggage compartment below.
When a F/A said no to that, he glared and gave her the "Do you know who I am?" treatment.
The F/A grabbed the guy's arm, raised it above his head and loudly shouted, "This poor man has forgotten who he is. Anybody know his name?"

Value jet was a fantastic and cheap airline, it’s service was great, based in southern hospitality. Spirit is a Northeastern /Yankee/garbage/rude/asshole nightmare. Glad to clear that up asswipe.
