Artists are, I am afraid, mostly 'effing nuts. They're "creatives", which means that their mental functions are "differently abled" than the rest of us.

Recognizing where each of those individuals fall on the policy spectrum doesn't require making enemies of anyone. Each of those mentioned is indeed part of the republican party leadership that is at war with the majority of its base voters, and has been for some time.
