Talking to Elon. There's a lot of it right now.

Just one example:

Surprise, it is October.

All that would be nice, and probably to Musk's benefit from the standpoint of restoring the reputation of twitter, but I hope nobody expects Musk to become their personal research assistant.

Of the 4 executives fired yesterday evening, one of them was 'walked out'. I'm not saying it was Witchaya Gadde...but boy howdy can a man dream.

Yes, I would like Twitter's shadow-banning practices to be revealed to the public.

I would also like to see revelations of Twitter's decisions 1) to block the NY Post's reporting about Hunter Biden's laptop, and 2) to ban former President Donald Trump.

Maybe being former CIA employee gave Buck an inside look at the very strange relationship between our massive intelligence apparatus and social media platforms. I would appreciate full transparency if Musk can make it happen but the “national security review” threatened by Brandon kinda gives us a hint the Feds don’t want to lose their illegal unethical backdoor access to all of our digital data.

The leftists have outed themselves as fascists. Nobody likes them. Now that the fear is gone they have nothing.

They didn't succeed in their power grab.

The base is going to leave the Democrat party over the warmongering in Ukraine.

All you will have left in the democrat party are the shills and dupes who only have hatred for those they disagree with.

Prepare for the flailing and the lashing out.

Biden will almost certainly be out before Republicans take congress.

Regarding Buck Sexton's comment: I bet a lot of the skullduggery has been wiped (like with a cloth). I also think some of it was manual manipulation of selected people, rather than algorithmic.

Yes… to what Buck Sexton asked.

Also good to reveal: Twitter-China technology sharing and coordination.

Musk should publish all of Gadde's department records.

An example of the kind of stuff you couldn't say on Twitter. The notion that the censorship was only to prohibit violence and keep people safe has always been, to use their phrase, disinformation (aka a lie).

Don't we assume that anything damning has been destroyed?

When you own something and have billions invested in it, you are apt to be more careful about what information you want released.

Musk shows how to become a new president from the opposition party.

I read somewhere that the software is going to be made open-source, that the Twitter software department was locked out of access at noon yesterday, and that Elon has brought some Tesla software engineers in to start examining it.

The corrupt left must be stopped.

Because DEMOCRACY! The real democracy killers are... the elite democrats.

I doubt there's an intelligible algorithm. What there is is a bunch of eigenvalues and eigenvectors from training sessions, and all that's left is those values. It causes performance but not in any directly intelligible way.

They train a lot and get a lot of sets of eigenvalues and eigenvectors and pick the set that seems to do what they want. Nothing in the code gives a clue what that performance is, it just happens.

The smoking gun is in the training and picking, and that's gone.

The fact that the left is going nuts about this tells you everything you need to know.

An account I follow which was shadowbanned, etc., picked up 60,000 followers in the last 18 hours. He also received a personal reply from Elon on another topic. Good stuff.

They would make software/data backups, which they could reload onto a test/backup system. If they say they don't have them, that is quite "damning."

I, on the other hand, am still banned for refusing to remove a tweet in which I called Glenn Kessler and Taylor Lorenz clowns.

They are clowns, and I will never remove that tweet.

Mike (MJB Wolf) said...

Maybe I'll reactivate too. @mjbwolf of course. Wow. It's locked and looks like a time capsule from a few years back.

Dang. My "closed" Instagram account is still there too.

I got a suspension for the words "Learn to code."

That's it. That's the tweet.

I also got one for posting a story from The Babylon Bee. That one got me my complete permaban.

I also got a temporary FB suspension for posting this comment, verbatim, on a thread about immigration:

"Illegal entry is a crime."

Which it unambiguously is, under a specific federal law.

Ii also got a FB suspension for hate speech for posting a meme with the words "Communion wafers are protein snacks. Change my mind!"

Fuck these people with a red hot fireplace poker.

Fuck Vijaya, fuck Jack and the next CEO what's his face for keeping that happy-face fascist witch in her job when Jack already knew what she was.

Zuck I think at least means well. But fuck him for allowing his greenhair army of litterbox cleaners to commit their abuses against the republic and against the platform shareholders and the broader user base.

I was permabanned in October for making light of #IndigenousPeoplesDay

I just appealed now.

(I have another account that is non-political and based on movies and writing under my real name that is still active)

It's amazing to read the reasons people were banned from Twitter. My comment was something I tweeted comparing the Democrats and Jake Tapper to a pimp and his whore. I can't remember the exact wording. But, I was suspended in two seconds and told I could only be un-suspended if I deleted the tweet. I deleted my account instead.

This is what a preference cascade looks like.

When regimes fall it is because nobody respects or fears them anymore.

And all of these fires are coming from inside the Democrats own house.

You should follow catturd.

His accounts are actually pretty entertaining. I will when I get my account set up.

I follow catturd on GAB. He is seems to be a very insightful person. He apparently lives on a few acres in Florida. His account is very amusing.

Well, I hope all you guys get back on. I've heard October will be declared Free Speech month and the 28th of October will be Sinko del Musko Day.

Vijaya walked away with just over $34 million, Agrawal with $54 million and was there less than a year.

Elon might have felt good firing those folks, but a hundred million bucks+ just walked out the door in the process.
