Ida McKinley was epileptic. When she had a seizure, her husband, President McKinley would gently place a napkin or handkerchief over her contorted face and then remove it after the seizure had passed, as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. Should we recommend that trick to Dr. Jill and the White House staff? Do they have enough handkerchiefs and napkins?
I was also going to ask if anybody understood the year-round daylight savings time that is coming. But then I noticed that the House refused to pass the bill that the Senate had approved, so instead I will just ask if anybody understands daylight savings time.

Thinking more about the poll showing a huge swing from Dems to Reps in the NYT, I now think it could be to soften the blow for its delicate readers. A political operative once said ‘It’s the economy, stupid.’ and that’s never been more true than with the reaming Biden is delivering to this country. His party has absolutely nothing to offer other than abortion, and that pails in comparison to economic suffering, open borders, rising crime, and bribes to Ukraine.
Reps gain 3 to 5 Senate seats and 30 to 50 house seats. Look for Pedo Joe and Nurse Jill to be tossed out of the White House and under the bus in early 2023. Sucks to be them…

Come on, Lem! Google tells you that the technical administration of early voting has been mastered everywhere. So you have no point to make.
Only 4 states have no early voting option: Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, and New Hampshire. And Connecticut is voting on a constitutional amendment that will permit early voting in 2024 if passed.
The John Durham Investigation: Hillary Clinton initiated and paid for the whole sordid thing.
More important, Durham proved the FBI and DOJ were more than willing to base a frivolous investigation on it even though they arguably knew, but did not acknowledge, its provenance within moments of receiving it.
On the bright side of the Igor Danchenko verdict, once again the FBI comes off as crooked from head to toe. As if we didn't know. It also highlights the fact the FBI does not tape record their interviews. They return to the office and generate 302's based upon their recollection(s). Also, never trust a guy named Igor, unless he's a high scoring left winger.
Now the FBI can refocus their resources on parents attending school board meetings and pro-life protesters. White supremacists all.

The jury has acquitted Igor Danchenko on all four remaining charges against him.
Shortly before they did so, the jury asked for a report that had been used to refresh Danchenko handling FBI agents' memories about why Danchenko had not corrected Christopher Steele’s mistaken recollections involving interactions with Sergei Millian, a Belarusian-American businessman, in 2017. Danchenko's lawyers noted — having won a fight to exclude Christopher Steele’s testimony pre-trial — that this was hearsay.
And then minutes later they came back with an acquittal on all charges. John Durham had been pushing this hearsay as factual until his own supporting witnesses, under oath, blew up the argument in court testimony. Durham and his poorly investigated trials should never have happened, but the Durham bull went on for years with only 3 trials and a single no-penalty guilty plea. No major evildoers who supposedly lied about Trump's traitorous activities with the Russians were even named by the special prosecutor.
Inga said...Oh man, that Durham investigation sure got some results,eh?
Just out of curiosity (and I'd love a real response), do you draw any distinction at all between "didn't do it" and "got away with it"? Or are they the same thing to you because the real concern is which party benefits and which party is hurt? (If there's a third option, I'd love to hear that as well.)

Can't believe this will go through! Who am I kidding. So many long-term issues showing up, but the medical and media establishments are madly denying any possible poor outcomes could relate to mRNA, even with its lousy history.
I was unpleasantly surprised when my doctor suggested the mRNA vaccine to me at an appointment yesterday. I've had covid 18 months ago and had the antibodies in a subsequent blood test. Although this doctor is quite sharp in some respects, I don't feel comfortable leaving my medical issues in the hands of an MD who would recommend the vaccine to an already-immune patient. Much as I don't want to change doctors, I have trouble imagining feeling confident and comfortable in my next consultation with this one.
The DESPERATE Progressives manning the J6 committee are so scared that they leaked information on New York Gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin, because they know their days are numbered and Nancy will have to be subpoenaed to answer as to WHY she refused the National Guard, and WHY she refuses to release ALL the video tape evidence of what REALLY went down at the Capitol on that day. https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2022/10/j6_committee_tries_to_save_hochul_in_ny_governors_race_with_meaningless_leak_about_lee_zeldin.html
If J6 bothers you so much, you should watch Ukraine on Fire for the parallels with Maiden 2014, the use of false flags, sacred martyrs, etc. There is a reason that Ashly Babbitt's name is never mentioned in the press, they know the power of a martyr.
It's my personal opinion that the overthrow and beheading of Charles I is the model for all color revolutions, use of mobs to intimidate parliament, "unruly mobs" that happened to have a highly refined sense of which MPs to attack to manage certain votes.
People here ask me who is "feeding me" my opinions, well I read a lot of history, and the overthrow of Charles I and Euromaiden are striking in their similarity. Adam Schiff on the J6 committee, and the speaker of the Parliament at the time of Charles I, whose name escapes me, also have striking similarities. I think that Schiff is very well-versed in the tactics used to bring down Charles I, or he has amazingly re-invented them wholesale.

Ten straight minutes of leading Dems undermining faith in the integrity of our elections by insisting the 2000, 2004 and 2016 elections (all which, coincidentally, they happened to lose) were illegitimate because the false outcome was due to cheating:
Early voting and mail voting are all cheat to win ideas.
