"But then I also saw other cases where the individual was simply walking into the Capitol building with the permission of Capitol police officers..."

"... and had told the FBI that very same fact, and, on occasion, there was surveillance video to support it. Kind of seemed to me that it was a waste of our valuable resources to pursue even an interview with that individual if we had them on video not committing any crime and just walking into the Capitol building, which is their right to do as an American citizen."

From "FBI Whistleblower: Capitol Police Letting Peaceful Protesters Inside Building On January 6 'Smelled Like Entrapment'" (RCP).

I watched video of that very same thing. The doors were held open and people filed in.

No mention of the person who broke a window to get it. He is a known Antifa - and was interviewed by the press. He is now nowhere to be found. John Sullivan.

Some People who merely walled in, stood there and did nothing wrong - have been harassed by the US government to the point where they committed suicide.

WHICH is why Nasty Nancy refuses to release ALL of the video tapes of that day that would exonerate most of these Political Prisoners they are collecting like baseball cards to fill up their DC gulag before the midterms so they can cry INSURRECTION, when it was actually a COUP against Trump by the Deep State and the media all along.

It may not have been entrapment, the capital police officers may have been acting innocently, but it was later used by corrupt government officials aided by corrupt media figures to turn the harmless reasonable behavior of responsible citizens into a crime by political opponents.

According to people like Gadfly, Cheney, and Kristol and others in the hack press- the Capitol building is off-limits to the American people.

Unless you're a good and loyal democrat.

If you are not a good and loyal Putin... er I mean Democrat - you must Obey or you will be called a THREAT TO DEMOCRACY.

The whole January 6th thing was a set up by the Dems and FBI. And the idiot Trump walked right into it. Bad judgment. He should have know better.

Ray Epps and Nancy Pelosi need to testify under oath. And if they don't, they need to join Steve Bannon in federal prison.

We all know that parts (large parts?) of the FBI are corrupt and in bed with the democrat party.

We all know.

the only people who refuse the truth are leftist loyalists.

The Whitmer kidnapping case was manufactured. The 4 men never knew each other - and one was bribed with a 60,000 FBI bribe. That's off the charts corruption.

The media refuse to cover it.

Some people entered the Capitol forcefully, attacking the guards.

Some people walked in peacefully, permitted by the guards.

Both phenomena happened.

it was a waste of our valuable resources

The investigation is the punishment. Having armed FBI agents rouse you out of bed at 5:30am, still not even in your bathrobe, waking up your children to make sure they are terrified.

That's the entire point of the exercise.

They only want fake protests, like the always invited Pussy Hatters invading the Senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court justices, trapping Senators in elevators to intimidate them into changing their votes, that sort of stuff.

Staged protests. Staged by the Democrats. Like they're staging their show-trial.

The next Republican President had better start hauling these domestic terrorists to Guantanamo Bay or its the end of the Republic.

There were 200,000 people at that protest. No, it is not a responsible use of resources to interview everybody who might have seen something.

I have probably seen more footage than most.

And I've seen tons of video of cops standing by the door letting folks in, chatting with them amiably, and acting like it's just another day.

Imagine you're at the Capitol and a line is moving through an open door with a police officer there waving people in, and 6 months later you're in jail awaiting a federal sentence.

From what I've seen, 80+ percent of the people there were just milling about.

It reinforces my belief that it was all a setup by Pelosi and the feds to create a 'narrative.'

Keep the J6 committee going. Subpoena Pelosi, Bowser, the head of the Capitol Police, and whoever is on the National Guard side of things. Get emails, phone records, etc.

And arrest them all if they do not comply.

Wait two years to prosecute and figure out a way to have the trials in the panhandle of Idaho.

Somebody needs to fix this.

And those people should be dealt with harshly.

The grandmas taking photos after being shown the way in by police officers, not so much...

I loved the MSNBC voter panel from PA that set the dishonest anchor straight every time she asked a loaded question, and aren't they all, about January 6. The public ain't buying the spin. Turns out there's few actual Ingas on the ground who will swallow the Bug Democrat Lies this cycle. Progressives have to pretend, like Whoopie did, that they never heard of Antifa and know nothing about four months of burning cities in 2020.

BLM must stand for Buncha Lousy Memories! But no. I know it's gaslighting not memory problems. Being a democrat means wiping out your memory every few months and starting over.

Just as Trump and family are the most investigated people in the history of the planet, the J6 Spinsurrection is the most recorded single event in the history of DC.

The idea that there is anything more to be learned from individual witnesses or participants than is already known is risible; if the R's take control they should release ALL the evidence and not just the snippets approved by the D's.

I notice that Pelosi is getting a lot of coverage on NPR broadcasts; a harbinger of an increased or at least more prominent role for her in the near future?

Yup. The people who went in were fools because they should have seen the setup. They were part of the fiction that Biden was elected fair and square.

They're paying FBI managers bonuses for pushing domestic terrorism cases?

That might answer the question of why the rank and file doesn't resist politicization of the FBI.

They're bought off.

Jan 6 was a setup. A coordinated group of men removed the fencing and took down the signs saying the area was closed, just before the crowd arrived. A guy the internet calls "scaffold commander" climbed up on the press scaffold outside the Capitol with a bullhorn and for several hours shouted incitement to the crowd. The FBI has not found him, and does not appear to be trying to find him. It was a setup.

At 11:50 Rabel made a comment about the FBI financial bonus aspect of this. The FBI also offered up to one million dollars for information confirming parts of the Steele dossier (They got no confirmation). How widespread is this practice?

Just like not a single arrest in actual fire-bombing of pro-life pregnancy centers and churches but dozens of arrests for protests at abortion clinics (with the claim that they "endangered" those seeking abortions), we have two systems of justice.
Howard says we are just getting our victim card punched. Really Howard? You are ok with people going to jail for going in the capitol and taking selfies?

I dunno. I heard that Trump whacked a couple of his SS guys hopped in the front seat a drove the Beast through the front doors of the Capitol while honking and screaming wildly 'AOC is down that hall. Go get the little rat bastard!' Not saying it's true, but that's the way I heard it.

A local political ad claimed that Jan 6 led to the death of 6 police officers. No mention of the 2 unarmed women killed by the Feds. I haven't seen it in a few weeks, and I've forgotten who paid for it, there are so many political ads.

TreeJoe said...

When it comes to J6, I don't believe it was a "setup" by Democrats. I think they didn't mind the optics and watched carefully the public perception, and then went all in. As they've done every day since.

However, the January 6th panel is the worst type of farce. I hope Republicans win and I hope they continue the panel, but instead make the supervising authorities testify under oath and publish their personal records of why they were so dramatically under-staffed, why so many members of the Capitol Police facilitated entry into the facility, etc. etc.

There were a small number of people who actively attacked police and property. They are almost entirely on camera, readily recognizable, and long since tracked down.

Everyone else was a protestor along for the ride. Or even just along for the ride as witnesses.

It's long since time for those responsible for protecting the Capitol that day to come forth and call out why an unarmed crowd was able to riot inside the Capitol during a major ceremony with advance warning of civil unrest and local rallies.

Not only that, but a "mother, activist, and actress", in the traditional order.

"When it comes to J6, I don't believe it was a "setup" by Democrats."

Who said anything about "Democrats"? I suppose some of the people involved in the setup may consider themselves Democrats. And Pelosi seems to have had a pretty good idea what was going to happen, yet refused to take any precautions, other than bringing a film crew to work with her that day. But I don't think the Democratic National Committee got together and planned the whole thing. The people who took down the fences and signs, and incited the crowd to enter the Capitol, were paid with federal money. Which ag3ncy or agencies remains to be seen.

Jupiter said...

What also seems not to be widely known is that the Capitol Police started the riot, by attacking a crowd of entirely peaceful protesters, including many women and children, with tear gas, flashbombs, rubber bullets and batons.

It has been proven. When state election laws are changed by people who have no right to do so the the election is not "fair and square". I think what you meant to say is we got away with it.
