Erewhon is still around? I haven't heard of it in about 50 years. My brother was reading Utopian literature and was stoked about the name. But they were on the East Coast then. It looks like they are strictly a SoCal thing now.
I started out not liking #6 Shopping at Erewhon is the essence of anxiety. But by the time it was over, it was great.
Also, that was one of the best Rube Goldberg's ever.
Tie.
Let the derangement begin.

I liked closing out Yom Kippur. The Rube Goldberg machine and the BotChristmasMovie were great. Survival had a great line. AS he hangs from a branch which has arrested his fall down a cliff, he says on his phone: "I am OK but I need some help." I've said that on my phone when I had a dead battery in my car but it is not what I would say after falling part way down a cliff as I hung from a branch over an abyss.

Gordon Lightfoot.
I've always liked his first name, and nothing could follow him.
Survival. No, I'd call it Bad Planning; and then he has to be rescued from the consequences of his own stupidity.
Separate bedrooms. That's exactly the point Miss Manners made in her advice column thirty years ago.
Holiday film. Was it really written by bots? Seems more like a human-written parody.
Profound evening. Gibbous this night our gibbous moon.
#9.
Gordon sounds terrible and doesn’t look so good either.
Sometime in November, I start to try to watch those Hallmark/Lifetime/whatever Christmas movies. I don't make it all the way through many of them. I would watch that one.
Erewhon was wonderful. Not the store, the critique of the store.
Great. Now all my thoughts are in Bot Speak.
6, 9. 30 years since I landed in LA and wandered into the Erewhon by Faifax. Never returned. The baby makes the Rube Goldberg Machine. Could not finish 2 or 10.
This is the first time I watched all to completion and enjoyed them all.
Mandy has got a set of pipes on him!
The young Harvey Fiersteinish guy in Erewhon was my favorite. I guess I liked the dog best of the three old guys. The Rube Goldberg contraption is impressive.
Rube Goldberg inspired by the opening scene in peewee’s big adventure?

Yom Kippur with Mandy Patinkin, especially when his dog joins in.
I should think Mandy Patinkin needs to practice his shofar more often if he's going to post his performance on tik tok.
We had an amazing shofar player at the Madison Beth Israel Center's Rosh Hashanah service. I wondered if he was a professional musician or UW professor of music. I didn't attend closing Yom Kippur services at the synagogue so I don't know if he came back yesterday.
Time for Gordon to retire. Leave the stage with some dignity.
Hey, Ann, since you're hardly busy hiking shooting reading thinking gathering writing posting, just got word TikTok, Mtn View CA is hiring. Winter's coming, but not out here!
Just sayin'
