If a United States president got a chance to run against the guy he beat in an election that put him in office, wouldn't he welcome the chance to beat him again?... unless he didn't beat him at all.
Doesn't Biden relish the chance to run on his record and on Trump's record? #QuestionNotPutToBiden
Trying to put Trump in jail smacks of fear he won't be able to duplicate whatever they did in 2020.

Not only do we not know who Epstein's clients were, but we don't know who the judges in PA who make election day rulings and who were themselves elected by ballot stuffing are. I guess if we found this out, we might lose faith in our elections. We do know that this guy was caught during an investigation of the mobbed up union leader in Philly who's brother is on the PA Supreme Court, though.
A touching video of dozens of Memphis residents finishing Eliza Fletcher's last run for her. Unfortunately, the black community couldn't make it that evening. Busy, busy, busy! Places to go, people to kidnap, rape and murder, "random" shooting sprees take a lot more planning than you might think ...
Kamala: "Today, the business of our work is for the council to report on the work that has occurred since our last meeting across these areas. We will today also discuss the work yet ahead, the work we must still do."
With all the nastiness from the Woke crowd regarding the death of the Queen; it occurred to me today that she may have pulled off one last coup by giving them an irresistible reason to show how loathsome they really are.
BYU proves that black volleyball bitch was lying about racial comments during the match. When are they going to go after these racial hucksters for these false accusations?
The Fed has been holding the M2 money supply constant all year long. They'll have to raise short term interest rates at least that 0.75% to finance all of the Democrats trillion dollar deficits. Monetarizing the deficits would blow the lid off of inflation. Instead, by holding the M2 constant, inflation will be wrung out of the economy by Q2 2023. Inflation is always the result of too rapid growth in the money supply and is always the fault of government, not private businesses.
Of course, higher interest rates could deepen the recession, but that's what Democrats want. If they paid any attention to Econ 101, they wouldn't have passed those massive spending bills. But, how else are the going to line the pockets of their cronies and themselves without those massive spending bills.
I bet AOC will go out and buy a second Tesla, after all, you can never have too many Teslas. Might need one for a backup when the power goes out after the wind stops blowing and the sun goes down.
I thought it was odd that the Queen had her purse on her arm as she was greeting the new Prime Minister. It wasn’t. Looking at photos - she always had a black handbag on her arm, even when welcoming visitors in her own home. Her outfits were always colorful (so she was easier to spot by her subjects) but the handbag was always black. It was always a Launer (2 to 3 thousand bucks a piece) and she had over 200 of them. Since she was always so matchy matchy, I wondered why the bag was always black. The bags come in a variety of colors. As I looked at the photos, the bag really blends into the background. It was both harder to spot in photos and easier for her staff to keep track of. Supposedly, one of the reasons she had it always by her side was so she could signal her staff if she wanted to end a meeting, etc. The other reason for the handbag, of course, was that she carried the nuclear launch codes in her bag. So I guess her power wasn’t just symbolic after all.
"Steve Bannon broke the news that at least 35 Raids were conducted yesterday against Trump allies across the country."
Grand Jury subpoenas were issued in DOJ's investigation into Trump's suspicious post-January 6 fundraising that went to recipients not defending Trump, including Trump himself.
The expanded investigation is not new news. Nor is Bannon's constant twisting of facts. Sadly TFG is taking down his supporters along with himself.

Take it from an octogenarian a couple years older than Biden - he does not want to dig his own grave with another term in office beginning in 2025 when he will already be 82. Democrats have a real problem for 2024 - no viable candidates. Oh well, perhaps Liz Cheney will head up a new party so I will have someone to vote for until the GOP changes its ways.
Trump will be 79 and a half in January 2025 and he appears to be eating himself to death because he doesn't know any better. But as long as his job is to pretend to run for president, he can pick up millions upon millions of dollars from unthinking supporters and the RNC. I think the GOP should seek out a really smart guy, Mitch Daniels, the former Indiana Governor and President of Purdue University, to lead the 2024 ticket. Sadly, the Trump-led RNC will never let that happen.
GOP should seek out a really smart guy, Mitch Daniels, the former Indiana Governor and President of Purdue University, The two smartest guys we have elected President, are Herbert Hoover, and Jimmy Carter. I think I'll pass on the book learning elite you crave.
(Though Hoover did a much better job than the narrative claims.)
You can say that about the idiot DNC string pullers, gadfly. It's almost like the DNC is working hard to keep Trump afloat so they can run the most hideous people for president and seem reasonable because relativity.
“Nobody’s going to jail,” city officials say. No, they’re going straight to the morgue. San Francisco has seen nearly 1,700 fatal fentanyl overdoses so far in 2022."

Or unless his record as president sucks and he doesn’t want to run against a proven winner. Maybe he can arrange a match-up with Mitt Romney or another of the country club Republicans who will apologize for being conservative and pull all their punches.
Following up on the Uju/Elizabeth/Greenwald thread, I was walking the dog yesterday and found myself thinking about how nice it is to have a blog run by Althouse, a professed and committed feminist, who tolerates comments and discussion regarding whether permitting women to vote will inevitably lead to the failure of the Republic, or whether it was just a really bad idea.
Not that I, as a "happily married man" have any comments on that subject (no, none whatsoever, Dear); it just shows an admirable level of commitment to the principle of free discussion. Which I appreciate.

Probably the same people... persons who support casting couches; friends with "benefits"; rape but not rape-rape; trans/homosexual infiltration of scouts, schools, churches; abortion and sequestration of "burdens" of evidence; and other elements of social progress.
Mitch Daniels ruled himself out of Presidential contention some years ago without ever saying why. The nation should be so lucky as to get a practical, free-market, limited-government classical liberal like him to run for the highest office. He had two extremely effective terms as governor of Indiana -- he preceded Pence in that job.
Mitch is one of the people who have gone through a divorce and then remarried the same woman a few years later. I have wondered if something in their personal lives made him wary of running for national office, but he did subsequently campaign statewide, so maybe that has nothing to do with his decision. He leaves Purdue early next year. Who knows what happens then.
I picked up a book written by Herbert Hoover once from one of those bookshelves in a little inn. Amazingly clear and intelligent writer. Not that I am an expert on him, I was just genuinely impressed by the clarity of his prose.

We just discussed this probability a couple of days ago in the wake of the raid on Trump's house. The Democratic Party's Stalinization of America takes its logical next step. Keep arresting the opposition, that's been very successful in so many Third-World places.
Herbert Hoover was born in West Branch, Iowa, right down the street from my hometown. His presidential library is there, and it's a beautiful place. I highly recommend visiting it. One can learn a great deal about Hoover's many accomplishments, including his achievements after leaving office.
But Hoover had the bad luck to win office in 1928, after Calvin Coolidge had the good sense to quit after one term. Neither Hoover nor Roosevelt did much to end the economic depression, but at least Roosevelt put up the appearance of doing something. When people are desperate, that helps. We avoided going the route of Germany.

Hoover made millions as an international geologist and mining businessman. He was a leader in saving the expats during the boxer rebellion. He was one of the top humanitarians of all times by quitting his job after WW1 and creating a privately funded group that saved the lives of millions of starving kids in Europe, when other Americans were literally saying let them starve.
By the time he was President there was nothing he could have done to prevent the depression, they are still arguing what caused it to this day, how could Hoover have figured it out in real time. But he was a great hate object for FDR to demonize. Say what you will, Hoover was the better man.

You can be sure that any rulings by PA courts regarding elections are on the level though.

So true on Jonah. There's big money on the corrupt sell-out left.
Herbert Hoover is one of the worst presidents to dismiss as 'book-learned.'
Read about his pre-political life and get back to us.

I suspect that there's more hinkiness in his past than he wants a spotlight on.
