mom A says her 6 year old daughter Wants something (that the mom told her to get), that the mom calls "female circumcision"; where the daughter's clitoris and labia are removed.
Some call this "genital mutilation".. Those people are called US.

Now I am watching After Love, a French couple headed for divorce who go on living with each other and yelling at each other.
Tomorrow is the Smithsonian's Free Museum Day (separate from the World Free Museum Day, probably because of all the COVID hoo-hah), but there's no place around here worth going to very much that's on the list. Maybe others will have more luck elsewhere.

Carambolages, a 1963 French film, is up on youtube. Sorry no subtitles, but still worth your watching. A farce about office life and corporate climbing. The youngest executive (Jean-Claude Brialy) at a travel firm tries to skip a few rungs going up the ladder. Homicidally funny. Brialy is a great physical comic actor, and so is Louis de Funes as the big boss. The action, almost all set in a modern office building, is fast and hectic, satirically stylized, practically choreographic. Even in France this film was somewhat overlooked in the crowd of new releases when it first came out. A rediscovered gem. Carambolages on y.t.

Saw shrinkflation in action yesterday. Those Newman's Own thin-crust pizzas used to be almost exactly the same size as the cardboard circle on the bottom inside the shrink wrap. Now there's about a quarter inch between the pizza and the edge of the cardboard, all the way around. And that's with the price going up as well. Pay more, get less in Brandon's world.
I wonder if Florida governor Ron DeSantis realizes that, based on the actions of Massachusetts' governor in the last 24 hours, DeSantis can:
1) Declare a humanitarian crisis in Florida
2) Activate the National Guard and round up all the illegal aliens at gunpoint
3) Bus the illegals to specialized "camps" on US military bases in Florida
As governor, you have the power to "order" the National Guard military to do this and they have to follow your orders.
Because that's exactly what Charlie Baker did in Massachusetts. And not a single Democrat objected to this.

Democrats basically took over a purple state whe Billy Bulger, brother of mobster Whitey, and Mike Dukakis were running the state, by flooding it with illegals and giving them welfare benefits. Right now this is why Joe Biden has been shipping the hundreds of thousands of illegals to red states.

Do you follow the news? Or do you just shoot from the lip? Biden has been flying illegals to various parts of the country under cover of darkness for quite some time now. BTW, the illegals were already in the US prior to transport by DeSantis, not smuggled into the country.
I love the moments we get a little glimpse into what exists behind the blog. You two seem to have found a sweet life together and it's amazing how it came together, both of you risking, and here it is, a beautiful vista.

What DeSantis did with migrants, sending them elsewhere, falls within the prerogatives of the elected office of Governor.
To find what DeSantis did unlawful, he would have to be impeached… good luck with that.

This is all in the same article with the substantial photo spread that shows the faces of many of these exploited people, including young children…

@gilbar, maybe the answer is that only one of these women is electing to sterilize her child, removing the option of human reproductive fulfillment for her daughter, insuring that her family line will terminate, thus making it an assertive death cult. The other is simply guaranteeing an adult life devoid of sexual gratification, but still keeping religious fulfillment potentially attainable. Both are bad, IMO, but in that light, it's easy to see which is worse, maybe even evil.
