Early reporting shows Liz is being taken to the woodshed. Hope it leaves a mark. :)

I doubt Liz cares much. She's moved on to a career in the Swamp or the Democratic party.

Why are Californians allowed to vote in Wyoming?

Liz Cheney goes down in flames. And then, in her concession speech, she never thanked the residents of Wyoming for the privilege of representing them…..at least until she developed a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Reminds me of the great scene from “The Prince of Tides” where the mom is chastising her young son for hitting another kid in school. “But Mom,he called me a cracker!” Then the Mom replies “And then you proved him right by hitting him.”
Cheney, in her sour concession speech, proved the voters of Wyoming right….she didn’t deserve their vote.

Latest numbers I’ve seen on Twitter show Liz Cheney getting crushed 64% to 31%. Some other candidate getting a small percentage.

The is why the establishment is going after Trump at all cost. The old guard in the GOP has to be beside themselves. They lost the base they enjoyed lying to for so long. Who let the dogs out?

Think about the difference between the GOP base tossing the Cheney and Bush families to the trash heap of history, and Democrats embracing them as new modern folk heroes. Crazy. Or Democrats tossing Bernie aside knowing Hillary and Biden were hand picked by their controllers.

Dems fall in line and do what they are told, believe the propaganda spewed at them by the MSM and Big Tech, and fear challenging their “educators”. You would think self-proclaimed intellectualism would breed some type of independent streak....unless it’s not intellectual at all. It’s just empty, overpriced credentialism. Stupid is, as stupid does.

We LOVE the “poorly educated”.

Liz Cheney has been thrown out of Wyoming, a state she sometimes visits, garnering barely 30% of the vote. In her concession speech, she ompared herself to Abraham Lincoln. Says he also lost his Congressional election before becoming president.

Forgetting that Lincoln got himself one right in the brain-pan when he persisted against the people.

Liz Cheney now with the inside track to fill the Creepy Porn Lawyer lane for 2024, funded heavily by leftist democratical billionaires/millionaires.

I place the odds of Liz "Lincoln/Grant" Cheney changing her middle name to "Abraham" by Oct of 2023 at 50%.

With a repudiation like this, the honorable and decent thing for Cheney to do would be to resign the House seat immediately.

Cheney down by 37%. Props to the pollsters who predicted 25, they were only off by 50%.

I'm recommending this:

https://sashastone.substack.com/p/the-raid-that-red-pilled-america

"The Mar-a-Lago raid on its own would have one thing. But it comes right after Merrick Garland announced the “largest investigation in American history” against a former president. That came on the heels of prime-time hearings that aired on every news network except Fox, led by Liz Cheney, where they compared January 6th to the end of slavery and the Jim Crow South. This, after Kamala Harris, compared January 6th to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

A red-pilled America is probably starting to think the reaction to Trump, rather than Trump himself, might be the even bigger threat.

They were already losing voters by the millions. Hispanic voters, Asian voters, even Black voters were being red-pilled and drifting rightward. That meant there was likely a red wave in the November midterms. Biden’s catastrophic poll numbers meant Democrats could lose and lose big. That was unacceptable.

It shouldn’t be too surprising that they used that moment to hold their primetime extravaganza of January 6th. If they can’t win over voters with better candidates or policies, they will scare the living daylights out of them. Donald Trump hadn’t even announced he was running for office, but the failure of Biden and the Democrats alone was enough to launch an all-out war on Trump, his henchmen, and his supporters.

Instead of bringing more voters in, the administrative state has now red-pilled even more Americans."

You can read and/or listen. This woman has been summing things up magnificently. Historians (I hope) will find her pieces someday to help put the pieces together regarding how it all went wrong, and why.

I have great fear that the D effort to make the midterms about Trump is succeeding. They have successfully turned the conversation from Biden’s failures to Trump, Trump, Trump.

Are we once again being outsmarted? If the red wave in November turns into a trickle this country is screwed. The battleground is for independents and disaffected, normal D’s who want safe neighborhoods, no inflation and good schools. The D’s have put up a tactical feint and made the conversation about a guy who is not even on the ballot.

Trump was a great President but has allowed himself to be made into the most divisive figure in recent US history. The R purity test requiring Trump support may turn out to be incredibly self destructive. I’d rather have a 60 seat R senate with 10 RINOs than a 48 seat minority that is ideologically pure.

MSNBC and CNN will be fighting so hard to make Liz Cheney their top News person. She will fit right in with the rest of the TDS misinformed liars like Brennan, Clapper and Strozk.

"Trump was a great President but has allowed himself to be made into the most divisive figure in recent US history."
No. He didn't. He spoke the truth. The people whos lives depend on lies had to strike him down. Like they would strike down anyone who speaks the truth. As I have said before. Trump threatened the flow of graft. The people who depend on that graft cannot allow that to happen.Washington DC runs on graft. I hope this clears things up for you.

Jefferson's Revenge said...

Rusty. Everything you say is true but to get and exercise power effectively a politician needs to do more than speak the truth. He allowed himself to be manipulated by the State and made a series of bad personnel decisions. Candidly, he wasn’t ruthless enough in the beginning. He should have acted more decisively and brought in more outsiders like DeVos in every department. Then, when he cleaned house he could have modulated his message to get re-elected. Instead he did the opposite.

Instead we have someone who lied as a candidate who is now implementing his true policies, not the ones that he promised. I would rather have someone who knows how to get elected and who then implements the policies I support than a message purist. You know, some like Reagan maybe. A fucking politician who could get things done.

This has just gone up: Collegium Cartusianum performing Handel’s 1740 Oratorio based on Milton’s Three Temperaments. The ensemble’s past practice has been to take down their videos after a while; I don’t know how long this will be here, so listen soon if you’re interested.
