Once again, I've got 4 TikToks for you. Enjoy!

1. A face painted as a painted face.

2. Drivers spring into action to help.

3. Dizzying photography of a high dive.

4. Taking a very careful bite of a Nature Valley Granola Bar.

Watching her balance on her toes was the best part.

First was impressive makeup -beautiful in its own way.

Second was a good story - the only thing impressive about it was how routine and matter of fact it was.

I like the third despite my middling fear of heights, which usually renders similar videos unpleasant. I don't understand why I enjoyed it.

Fourth was a lame granola joke.

The Granola bar 😅

Like Althouse says, 'you are not the only one'.

I haven't. opened one of these since I got taken by surprise by that one you posted spewing hate for anybody who didn't vote Democrat "for my enjoyment." What's the point?

Nature Valley Granola Bar. It's pretty funny. And not far from the truth.

The diver was cool.

The painted face was pretty cool, but the woman who ran into the street to help her co-worker was the best. That was a heads-up play by a lot of people to avoid, well, not a tragedy, not at those speeds, but any damage or injury. I can’t help but wonder if the high dive was anywhere near as high as it looked, or just distortion by a fish-eye camera lense. The granola bar rang true, more or less, but it was too simple and gimmicky to compete with the other pieces.

I’m extremely confused by number one.

I cant figure out if the 3rd video was taken from a standard 10 meter platform. The wide angle makes it look like a lot more than 32.8083 feet. But if you ever stood on a 10 meter platform and looked down, it also looks like a lot more than 32.8083 feet.

I only did that once, then climbed down and jumped off the 8 meter.

Your algorithm is mostly feeding you queer zoomers. That's not a good thing at all.

#1 was a bit disturbing I thought. #2 was best. #3 messed with my head as I have fear of heights.

I eat those granola bars all the time in the am when I wake up and the secret is a controlled partial dip in coffee and then get the bite down before the whole thing folds over limply. There's no doubt that those bars shower dry crumbs or wet oatmeal without careful immersion techniques. I liked the car rescue and, in a different way, the diver. Did you notice how she was standing on her toes with her heels out in space while she checked camera angles? I was like, "Go, go."

Number 3

I did some diving as part of my fizz-ed requirement at university. We had a diving tower with a 10-meter position, which may be as high as it goes in NCAA. As for me, I made some of my dives from the 5-meter springboard, But 10-meter? Nah. Scary. I know it's virtually impossible, but from 33 feet the pool looks tiny. The chicken part of my brain said Don't do it! You could miss the water and land head-first on the concrete!

I got my FAA sport parachute license, yet I'm a bit afraid of heights. From 7,000 feet the ground doesn't look scary. But the 10-meter ledge is scary. I can't explain it. (BTW, that fisheye lens effect accentuates the illusion of a tiny pool that you're likely to miss.)

Really? Link to it. That doesn't ring a bell. You're saying I put something up that was spewing hate and I did it in a way that meant I was just passing along the hate as opposed to disapproving of it? I just conned you with an invitation to enjoy? I need you to prove that. I don't believe it.

That goes against what I do here, and I believe I have been consistent for 17 years. I take offense.

My stomach is still queasy from the diving one. Yikes! Question for others- would it have been so bad if it was the same height out of a helicopter over the ocean? Is it the height or the perceived small target?

The auto mobile one was nice. I remember seeing that when it happened. There are quite a few like that. Funny how people work together when left alone, isn’t it?

People at their best.
Eat your heart out, Picasso.
Corny, but I laughed.
Not as bad as the glide guy in the mountains, but the pool looks so small!!!

She says she's on a 20 meter platform which makes sense. I'm guessing it's her first time.

Good set! I love the Granola one (4) but I think (1) would get my Best vote. I have a fear of heights or at least being close to the edge of where a long drop happens, and it was like a horror or psychological suspense movie for me, which I don't like. But it's a good video.

The distortion in the diving video is just so crazy. Those tiny toes teetering on the edge of the platform. Jump already! Quick, before the toes collapse!

That's the blog equivalent of Scalia's "I vigorously dissent."
