If Rs take the house, the first act should be to release all J6 video and subpoena all communications of the Capitol Police, the DC mayor, and the speaker's office.
I'm guessing a lot of those emails, phone records, etc. will have been wiped with a cloth.

has an article about the FBI agents who raided Trump's house.
It's the same fuckers who investigated Trump in Project Crossfire!
That's the FBI team that was headed up Peter Strzok, the notorious fucker who tweeted that the FBI would keep Trump from taking office. Strzok was fired, but his team remains. And they wanted those documents bad, apparently.
This gives credence to the theory that it was rogue FBI agents behind the raid, and the attorney general had no idea what was going on. See what Turley says about Merrick Garland

His penchant for ripping up official documents was first reported by Politico in 2018.
This reporting suggests that Trump’s efforts to destroy documents — including documents pertinent to investigations of January 6 that started the day of the attack — were part of the Archives’ referral from the start, before Trump had an opportunity to start obstructing this [NARA-related] investigation.
Pete Strzok was a well-respected and competent agent who did in Russian spies and whose personal privacy was illegally invaded by the Trump Administration. When Strzok sued, he won. So the story here is about Trump's documented criminal activities, not about revealing the names of FBI agents doing their jobs.
