I was sitting on my back porch and realized that “deep greens and blues” were the colors of the open range and the sky and the line simply means that the cowboy chose to live there.

I also realized that I am going to vote for Trump in the primary and general, which was not my intent two days ago.

I love how the Democrats embedded in the FBI think that if you don't call it a "raid" it's not a "raid raid." They really thought that it was OK what they did. They live in a tinier bubble of opinion than even readers of The Bulwark, or the pedophiles over at "The Lincoln Project" do.

H/T Beasts of England, if you go after panties, it's a "raid."

Watching the recent Downton Abbey film. It's formulaic and melodramatic, of course, but if you enjoyed the TV series, the movie isn't bad.

Who would ever have guessed that Magistrate "judge" Reinhart would have been the judge-shopped selection for the DOJ/FBI deep state stasi's would be a close pal and legal rep for the Epstein cabal, a close pal of the Clintons AND had already had to recuse himself from a case involving Trump vs the Clintons?

Besides everyone of course.

Clintons and Epstein. Thats enough to make gadfly fall dreamily in love.

Toss in Avenatti and gadfly might offer him/her/xer-self for human sacrifice to his democratical "gods"

There has been a lot of talk on the interview shows about the new bill that will fund 80,000 new IRS agents.

It's all back and forth about who will get audited, should they use some of that money to hire more phone agents to keep the call waiting times down, etc.

These are all high-powered conservative pundits, RNC officials and elected officials, mind you.

Not a single one that I heard today has advocated for abolishing the department and replacing it with a sales tax or a flat tax or some other creative plan.

When I read conservatives on Twitter, all I read about is just that; abolishing the department. The Twitter folks are the people closest to the voters...the conservative base.

That's how gigantic the chasm is between the people and their representatives in the DC bubble.

The man on the street is screaming out for meaningful reform and the idiot politicians can only thing about nibbling around the edges.

The system is broken...

Merrick Garland is using the DOJ and the FBI to harass Republicans and steal their phones.

He's a conspiracy nut fruitcake.

I cannot believe Obama tried to tell us that he was a "moderate" and totally fit for the Supreme Court.

This is like Alien and Sedition Acts stuff. Just arrest the leaders of the opposition party! Nobody will notice.

You dumb fuck. Why don't you arrest Kevin McCarthy? I'm sure he's got some documents and stuff.

Memo to the world: J6 was a political protest that got out of hand. That's it, that's all it was. Stupid misdemeanors at best.

If you believe differently you are officially unfit for high office.

Unfortunately that apparently describes a lot of people. Congress is a ridiculous joke, and their kangaroo trial shows how deranged the Democrats are right now. But the Department of Justice is the enforcement arm. That's the guy who sends in people with guns and tries to use force to settle conflicts.

If you were a "moderate" (or even a person of average intelligence), you would treat Donald Trump as an irrelevant ex-president. He's out of office. When Bill Clinton was out of office, what did we do? Nothing! He's retired, dumb ass!

You've got to be a special kind of idiot to go down this road. And this is after the fucking moron tried to criminalize PTA meetings.

He's the worst attorney general in my life. Worse than Holder, who was bad. Worse than Reno, who was bad. Worse than Mitchell. I was just a kid when Mitchell was running around. Did he send FBI goons to raid Senator Kennedy's home and start looking for documents?

When people say "unprecedented," think about that word for a minute. You tried to impeach him twice and you failed twice. Let it go, you dumb fuckers! I guess you'd have to have some kind of backbone to stand up for Constitutional principles, due process, the rule of law. Truly embarrassing attorney general. I say impeach him in 2023. Don't arrest him. Just fire his ass. You're a bad lawyer and a horrible judge.

CTH is arguing that the intelligence community has become a fourth branch of government running the other three branches. Intelligence is launching operations inside this country against the citizens who are seen as the primary enemy. These operations have to be covered up and this leads to a downward swirl in which more and more operations are about covering up other operations and the people who receive security clearances are now being drawn from the pool of people who would accept these operations and this way of operating. Trump is an example. As we know Comey and others tried to keep him out and when he got in they launched the Russia hoax to cover up the attempt to keep him out. Then this has to be covered up. Document classification is used to assist these operations and cover-ups. Trump, CTH asserts, had documents which he had ordered de-classified which have a bearing on the activities of ROGUE (my name for the intelligence as the fourth branch of government as claimed by CTH ) but ROGUE does not recognize his authority. ROGUE says the documents exposing it are classified and sent the FBI to get them back.
I believe this summarizes what CTH is saying.
The behavior of the FBI - in searching Trump's whole house including Melania's closet; in not allowing Trump's lawyers to observe; in not giving an inventory of what was taken; in general - corresponds to CTH's contention that there's 4th branch above the law at present. We have seen the same arrogance in the treatment of conservatives in Wisconsin some years back and that was declared illegal by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. So Rogue may be illegal also.
The Dreyfus case was similar, too. It maybe that this is how intelligence acts when it isn't meshed in with other agencies and with the country as a whole. Or maybe any government agency that thinks of itself only, not the Commonwealth, gets this way. Look at Fauci.
Maybe it's the way humans go wrong. Eve looked at the apple and saw that it was desirable and why not eat it. "Just some pettifogging rule to protect God's turf", said the snake. "Go ahead." It seems we always do, to our sorrow.

"The Search Warrant used in the Mar-a-Lago raid is not public. It was filed under seal. It’s not even clear the Trump folks have it. Both Eric Trump and a lawyer for Donald Trump have said that a copy of the warrant was not given to the people present at Mar-a-Lago."

Merrick Garland insists he didn't know a thing about this. If Garland is lying about not knowing, that is bad. If he really didn't know...THAT is worse...that means he is not in charge of his DOJ if the FBI can go over his head.

"Despite his document theft—or perhaps because of it—Berger became a big star with prominent Democrats. In 2014, President Obama invited Berger to a private dinner with a group of foreign policy experts. Berger was a big promoter of the Iran deal, and when he died in December 2015, the president praised him as one who “devoted himself to strengthening American leadership” and a man “remembered fondly within the ranks of the National Security Council, where those he mentored carry on his work.”" A hero to the left who got away with A LOT more than Trump EVER would...... their hero actually put classified documents down his underwear and in his socks. I don't know if we really want to be heartwarmed about the British aristocracy, empire, and class system, but if you want heartwarming, there was some of that in the Downton movie. It had its diverse and politically correct elements, but such things were done more in the way that a previous generation would have handled them.

COLA group Don't start talking about inflation easing up 2 months before the outcome determination of COLA this year. It's already been considered around 9.2-10% when inflation was at 9.1, a decent increase well over $200.00 bucks for me (minus Part B increase)(pay for light bill) and my family and now its dropping (and after October it will be up again. We saw this last raise 5.9 and then realized it was closer to 8% after determination. As I head toward my 80th year of life I have seen the tricks before. Uncle Sam, don't do it! As a lifelong wagering man, I will open line at 3-1 that COLA ends up at 8.9-9.1% this year. I cashed a wager on the crazy fella from INFO wars would be fined 45 million for his nonsense (of course in Texas they'll drop that down fer sure) so my ROI is in the plus this year. Don't do it Big Brother I know your routine.

It describes (in greater detail than anything else I've read) the takeover of the government by the intelligence agencies post-9/11.

It is about how we got here, not where we are.
