So, it appears the involved abortionist provided misinformation in her report to the authorities: she identified the alleged rapist as a minor, not as an adult. Maybe she was misinformed; maybe she made a clerical error, maybe she did it deliberately. However, apparently she did not report accurate information to the authorities.

So here's the detective's testimony.

"How did the case start?"

"So an FCCS referral was made...police report was generated due to mandated reporting..."

It sounds to me from this, that Mom did not call 911, and did not report a rape.

She took her 10-year-old to the doctor. (Maybe morning sickness?) And the doctor discovered that the girl was pregnant.

This doctor (name unknown) calls abortionist in Indiana, and schedules an abortion there.

Back to the detective's testimony...

"Who did the initial report come from?"

"The mother of the victim."

Now that sounds like Mom reported the crime! But it also seems to conflict with "FCCS referral was made" and "mandated reporting." Doctors are licensed, and doctors are mandated to report pregnant 10-year-olds. (I would hope).

So maybe the (unknown) Ohio doctor had the mother fill out a form for Child Services?

Anyway, the police were notified in a very roundabout way. No 911 call, so no rape investigation. No DNA rape kit was ordered.

"And what did she indicate?"

(On the form from Child Services?)

"She indicated that her 10-year-old daughter was pregnant."

Mom's main focus seems to be on getting an abortion for her 10-year-old daughter. (That seems to be the focus of the doctors as well). Not on finding or exposing or arresting the man who raped this little girl.; 7/15/22, 4:56 AM

I don't (or didn't) have a dog in this hunt, but the near unanimous and hysterical condemnation of the LIV golf guys has caused me to start to view these guys as the underdogs and to begin to root for them accordingly. This is ridiculous, of course, as some of these guys have been paid 9 figure bonuses to join LIV Golf. But now, my contrarian instincts have taken over, and I'm watching the British Open (OK, the "Open Championship") through a friggin' political lens, and rooting for the LIV Golf guys just because it will piss off the R&A, PGA Tour, etc. This ruins the golf-watching experience, which, among other things, should be an escape from politics.
