I've got 6 TikToks to amuse you for 10 minutes this afternoon. Let me know what you like.

1. The baby emu shows you all its tricks.

2. Maybe I'd cook a potato like this.

3. A kid with amazing bike skills.

4. An actress with amazing cupcake-eating skills.

5. The hangry baby consumes mass quantities.

6. What it's like to go hiking with an L.A. man — the scintillating conversation will blow your mind.

Her friend Steph got Covid. “It” couldn’t have cake.

It?

WTF!

#4 - what got omicron - "it"? Either she called her friend "it" or I'm missing something. I expect it is the latter, but based on a recent post, maybe..
In any case, why would omicron make cupcakes more plausible than a cake?

Emu, potato, cupcake

The Chinese baby was terrifying. The potato video seems like it's worth trying. It looks delicious.

The antecedent might be "birthday." Omicron attacked the party.

I didn't even notice that. People just speak sloppily sometimes.

1. Hangry baby

2. Potato. Except substitute bacon and pepper jack cheese for the veggies. Double batter it and deep fry till golden brown.

Isn't that how everyone eats cupcakes? Once bakeries went from normal amounts of frosting to a pile of it as tall as the cupcake, breaking it in half and putting the frosting in the middle was the only way to eat them if you didn't have a fork.

(I got some cupcakes from a cupcake-specific bakery recently. I think the frosting height is about 2/3s of what it used to be. I blame Biden.)

Probably Japanese. The writing under the video is.

Kid on bike wins. He was fabulous. What control.
Close second is the spud. I love potatoes and have sliced and inserted things before. But his looked better. I'll be doing that.
Baby is very cute...today. Going to be very fat, soon. Or future competition for Joey Chestnut.
Emu was cool.
Ann Hathaway cupcake eating would be a good idea...if I ate cupcakes.

I made it through 12 seconds of LA Man. It's all I could take.

Cupcake, emu, potato

Never heard of Hasselback potatoes before. Spent 20 minutes looking up recipes and may cook them tonight. (like the idea more than the video therefore 3rd place rating)

Remember to convert to cook the potato. 220C is about 430F. (If I converted correctly - do your own math).

Number 5

She's gonna break the Sumo gender barrier!

"People just speak sloppily sometimes."

Especially sloppy thinkers.

Number 1

All its tricks? Just hatching from that very thick-walled green egg is a helluva trick. Didn't see that one in the vid.

Just have a ball being alive.

All could learn a trick or two from that emu.

The potato does look good. I also eat cupcakes that way. And the LA guy: yeah.

When I watched number 4 I heard, “it got omicroned”. I took that to mean that it, the birthday party, was altered due to omicron and was thus omicroned.

Watched a second time and that’s still what I hear.

Just remember 220 Centigrade is 428 Fahrenheit.

I'm blowing away my fellows AAs anniversary celebration with my next potato recipe at the end of this month.

That hangry baby rules. Not even Ricky Gourmet drinks from _2_ pyrex pitchers.

They were all terrific. It's been months since I liked so many and never all
of them. I'd send links for all of em. Well, still need to be selective.
Joe doesn't get the bike one.

The bike skills were impressive.

I live very near where the LA guy was hiking. He was like that horrifying train wreck you can’t look away from.

China Baby, Bike boy, potato idea. I might try the potato thing. I think a mandoline would do those thin equal slices.
That little baby was really just eating spoonful-size amounts attractively laid out. A lot of rice she could pick up. Some veggies. Other unknowns. The question is how they fixed the food so she could pick it and stuff it in without making a mess.
LA man was interesting but so horrible I switched away like the others. I wonder if there's a Wisconsin Man or did I miss him? Directions to the lake. How I did the tailgate wings. How I did the brats. Why I use chemicals on the lawn. How does your garden grow? He got into college. She's getting out of college. He got his first paycheck. She quit. I bought my house for SXXXX; I can/can't get another.

Too much work for the potato. I'd eat it. But wouldn't cook it.

Maybe the bike one. Although I suppose it'd be easier to just get off the bike and walk it up.

When I eat one of those sort of cupcakes, I solve the frosting issue by scraping it off and dumping it in the trash.

It was good to see an emu that doesn't choose violence, but that one's still young.

I wish I knew some Australians so I could send them the first Tik Tok and ask, "How did y'all lose a war to this?".

The hangry baby was amazing but I'm pleased I won't be the one changing that diaper.

I, also, thought everyone ate a cupcake like that until people saw me do it at a work birthday party and sort of freaked out.

The hungry baby reminded me of our eldest daughter. Normally, she would eat very little when she was that age, but every once in a while--perhaps she was going through a growth spurt, she would become voracious. We were somewhat afraid of her and felt a bit like someone feeding a tiger. You want to get the meat into the cage, but not lose a hand in the process. We'd set her food down before her and get our hands away, before she could grab a pinkie and give it a good munch.

I think all babies do the ambidextrous trick: They hold a utensil in one hand, use it sometimes, but also sometimes use the free hand. Even though they all do it, it's really funny and cute.

As impressed as I was with the bike skills, a thought kept intruding: It would be much faster to get through a tough spot by dismounting and carrying your bike.

The lad on the bicycle is Trials Riding. The objective is to master difficult terrain without putting your foot down. Trials riding on bicycles and motorcycles is very popular outside of the US. Kind of like soccer. The arguable best motorcycle trials rider is Toni Bou. There are many videos of him out there. He defies gravity.
