Anyone who had $125,000 in student debt a year ago has received a $10,000 debt reduction just through inflation!
Biden should be celebrating this fact.
Though, to be fair — and we all know how fair and honest Joe Biden is — he should tell them all to thank Putin for the student loan relief.

Joe Burden created high gas prices in 2021 by shutting down refineries or converting them to biofuels, leaving us facing shortages of diesel fuel, heating oil, and gasoline, that is likely to get much worse.

U.S. refineries are shuttering or being converted to biofuels facilities, while China is building more refineries and is expected to overtake the United States in refinery runs this year. Soon China will have more operable refining capacity than the United States. The closure of U.S. refineries is along the path that President Biden wants as he seeks a zero carbon future by 2050 while China will continue to produce petroleum products, build coal mines and plants, and further fuel its growing economy

Did the demonizing of cops, calls for defunding the police, contribute, if not outright cause, Uvalde police to hesitate?

So I'm watching this show. And this couple comes across a guy slumped over and they started speaking at him. When he doesn't respond, they go over and see that he's long dead.

Why is it in Hollywood, they don't know that the couple would have smelled the guy when they first saw him?

When you ask Siri in Russia/n "Siri, what's the latest news", it gives you "news" from three websites: all run by the Kremlin, all long proven to be peddling fake news, and in fact two of the three are sanctioned. This is embarrassing, and probably criminal,
@Apple

It's not like there are no real news sources in Russian -
@meduzaproject
,
@the_ins_ru
, novayagazeta.europe and many others.

@apple & @tim_cook - do the right thing, today.

The recall was supported by over 60% of voters. When you're too radical for even San Francisco...

Read this thread to see how our own government is treating American Citizens who disagree with the way they handed the Presidency to the loser who is destroying it as we speak. This will wake some people up hopefully, because the fraudulent witch hunt that Nancy is putting on for Thursday night will anger a lot of people who are ignorant about what REALLY happened. https://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2022/06/07/we-are-no-longer-free-steve-deace-shares-heartbreaking-letter-from-january-6thr-who-took-a-plea-deal-in-eye-opening-thread/

Reported on Fox News tis morning, there is now a shortage of contrast dye for MRI testing. Four plants manufacture the dye, one of which is in China, which has been shut down.

On a personal note, I had a recent MRI with contrast for a pancreas/liver issue. An MRI with contrast requires the dye. It took 6 weeks to get the test. I am to be retested in a few months. Hope the best and the brightest (gag me with a fork) solve the problem by then.

Someone did the math--500 mile trip in a car that has less than a 500 mile range. She may not have cared about gas prices, but she's lying by omission when she skips the part where she had to recharge.

farmgirl, I was talking to a Vermont landlord the other day, and she told me that her tenants were still getting their rent paid by the State of Vermont, I was also talking to a restaurant owner who could not get waitstaff at thirty six dollars an hour. The state is creating this labor shortage by paying people not to work.

As far as cops go, that's on the Democrats for demonizing the job. Who would want it?

wendybar said...

Wow. Sad for Vermont. It used to be a beautiful state to visit. What a waste. Socialists ruin everything.
