"In my 30 year career, including the entire MeToo era, there’s nothing to report, but, as soon as I say I intend to restore free speech to Twitter & vote Republican, suddenly there is…"

Said Elon Musk, quoted in "Elon Musk calls claims of sexual misconduct ‘politically motivated’" (WaPo).

Musk commented at length on Twitter... writing that “those wild accusations are utterly untrue” and issuing “a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ — describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public. She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened.”

“Moreover,” he added, “the ‘friend’ in question who gave the interview to [Insider], is a far left activist/actress in LA with a major political axe to grind.”

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens — this is their standard (despicable) playbook — but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” Musk tweeted.

He ended the thread: “Finally, we get to use Elongate as scandal name. It’s kinda perfect.”

The top-rated comment over there is: "Musk is starting to sound an awful lot like Trump." And, yes, he is: He's a master of the tweet. But don't worry. He can't run for President. We are securely safe from the foreign-born man following the Trump path to power. And Musk himself is safe from that temptation (and from our suspicion). That door is closed.

Of course, if the allegations are true, that's very bad. But what I'd like to know is how many men are inhibited from coming out as conservative — or just anti-Democrat — because they know there are or could be allegations like this held in reserve. How much control is achieved by this method of only going after political enemies? We can't get all the allegations out, because some men are protected, protected by their own political pretense.

By the way, do you think there's anything odd about Elon Musk's genitalia, or is this a rhetorical trick to make us think he has a means of refuting his accuser? Remember when Michael Jackson was subjected to a bodily search to see if his accuser had accurately described his penis?

It's interesting how many women think men are always aggressors while several men can tell stories of fake allegations made against them. That's why we always get media amazement at the gall of someone like Depp to fight back, just like the media was upset Duke Lacrosse fought to defend themselves and then sued to restore their reputation. As for Musk, the first headline I read on this story said something to the effect "SpaceX Flight Attendant accuses Musk". SpaceX doesn't have Flight Attendants and I'm not afflicted with Gell-Mann amnesia. I suspect if they are silly enough to suggest someone is a Flight Attendant, asking them to describe his privates will result in even more incredulous responses.

This sounds like the death rattle of #MeToo. It has been hijacked by political operators and hysterics whose antics not only destroy the target (and the attackers) but destroy the culture in which we were expected to care about the “weaker sex” and its vulnerability to sexual predation.

Yessir, according to Paula, Bubba is a member alright . . . of the bent carrot club otherwise known as "Peyronie's disease."

Peyronie's disease is a connective tissue disorder of the penis characterized by the triad of bent erections, pain in the penis with erections, and palpable penile plaque - um, scar tissue that has been deposited on the outer covering of the erectile bodies.

Clarence Thomas rented some XXX videos and may (or may not) have flirted aggressively at the office. That inspired enormous amounts of outrage among feminists. What it didn't inspire was the metoo movement..... The people who were outraged by Clarence Thomas went on to work with Harvey Weinstein and give Roman Polanski a standing ovation. Right from the beginning the metoo movement was corrupt and hypocritical.....I'm sure that Elon Musk, like most of us, has had his share of libidinal urges and, also like most of us, he would not like to have how he acted out those urges reported on the front page of the NY Times. But that's what will happen. Every bad moment in his life will be documented, and the reporter will win a Pulitzer for uncovering high school fart jokes.....It's wearisome and wrong. We learn every bad thing there is to know about Derek Chauvin and George Zimmerman, but God forbid that anyone should dishonor the sacred memory of George Floyd and Trayvon Martin by reporting on their past misdeeds.

Anyway- all women are to be believed, unless they are attacking a Democrat who could win an election. This is a known known. All Republicans are not to be believed- woman or man, black or white. This is also a known known. Working within that framework, I cannot worry about this claim on Musk. I agree with him. He's a MegaWorld level celebrity. If this was real, it would have come out against him previously. We all have things that can be dug up against us. Something. An utterance or a date that went better for one than for the other. And there are more crazy and vengeful people out there than there are rapists. It's not even close.

I like to see him fighting back- hard. If it turns out she's got a claim, so be it. If it turns out she's another politically movitvated hack, she should see the worst of times. This crap has to stop.

Dems will keep going by the playbook so long as they think it will work. It is a biblical certainty that the Democrat Machine has already put the word out that they're looking for a woman or women to accuse Ron DeSantis of some kind of sexual impropriety. Whoever steps up will be considered a hero for the rest of their lives, and enough money will be funneled their way to make it more than worth their trouble. The attack is probably being coordinated with either the Washington Post and/or NY Times, plus at least one of the major broadcast news networks. My guess is Dems will choose an Hispanic woman as the supposed victim in an attempt to damage the GOP's outreach to those voters.

It will be Kavanaugh times ten.

If there are no other witnesses, and no physical evidence, then keep it to yourself forever. Otherwise I am going to assume you are lying. Period dot. 1. people looking for a cudgel against their political enemies (approx. 54%)

2. women trying to increase their sex's relative power (39%)

3. people aghast for prurient reasons (6%)

4. HR types and lawyers concerned about minimizing liability (1%)

5. the "victim" traumatized by having to view a body part that we are forcing on 3rd graders in public schools, looking for fame or fortune (1)

People might want to consider even the claim of $250,000 settlement is questionable. It is possible the $250,000 was a severance package given to a disgruntled employee that included a NDA about company proprietary information. I don't know if Stormy ever proved hers was legit. Cohen did pay her, but for what, only they know. There were two documents, the one to file with a court had two bogus names showing a settlement. And the second document was the amendment to identify the bogus names. If you read them, you'll find numerous errors from lacking signatures (including the notary's signature and date) to the amendment pointing to the wrong paragraph.

Or perhaps it is because Polanski is an Artist who have us a few movies.

Jupiter said...

"Of course, if the allegations are true, that's very bad."

Well, why, exactly? What he is accused of doing, by someone who does not claim to have been present, is to have implied a desire for sexual activity with a woman. I realize, that doesn't happen very often, we're all so busy with our phones these days, but is it really that awful? Oh, that's right, I remember now. Suggesting sex is OK, indeed it's the only proper course, if the woman wants it. But if she doesn't, or she later decides that she didn't, then it's "very bad".

We can't get all the allegations out, because some men are protected, protected by their own political pretense.

And that is why metro is a joke, and Amber heard can't get any sympathy.

The vast majority of the men nailed by metro were Democrats / of the Left (see Hollywood).

For decades, that's been the trade that "feminists" made, most explicitly with President Clinton: You give us abortion on demand, and we give you as many women as you want to screw, use, and abuse.

If you're a man who has no respect for women, and sees them as just a life support system for a pussy, then the Democrat Party and the Left is the place for you.

Heck, you even get to tell them that they're "repressed" or "too bourgeoise" if they won't put out! And be "totally cool" for engaging in this abuse.

So, with Thomas and Kavanaugh we saw clearly fake accusations made against many because he was a Republican, and with Clinton, Weinstein, Epstein, etc. we saw actual crimes hand-waved away before the were supporting the Left.

If you're a douchebag, then you clearly want to be on the left.

If you just don't want to get smeared, you want to be on the Left

The flight attendant was also a trained masseuse who gave Musk full body massages regularly.

Musk was nude, face down, on the bed with a sheet covering him from waist down.

She gave him a massage, asked him to roll over for the front and had an erection. Seems pretty normal so far for a massage. I wonder what man among us, at least in or more youthful days, would not have an erection in this situation?

When he rolled over, somehow he became exposed. The rolling stone story doesn't say how. Nor does it say he pulled the sheet away on purpose.

He, apparently, asked for a happy ending. He offered a pony in exchange because we all know girls love ponies.

She said no, he accepted her answer completed the normal massage and that was the end of it.

Hardly seems reprehensible to me if this is what happened. This is all they have? Pretty weak tea.

If the attendant/masseuse told a girlfriend, would this void the NDA?could Musk sue to get his $250m back?
