I was shocked to hear that Karine Jean-Pierre's spouse is Suzanne Malveaux. I used to have a little crush on Suzanne. I knew that she was difficult -- forever correcting people on how her name should be pronounced. But for me stuff like that is kind of a plus, rather than a minus. Her twin sister Suzette is likewise LGBTQQ+2S whatever.

The names, addresses, work emails, work phone numbers, and salaries of every single public employee at the federal and local levels (with very strict exceptions for law enforcement and spies) should be in a publicly accessible database.

We pay these peoples’ salaries. They are our employees.

Start with Psaki…

Rumor is that Ron Klain speaks regularly with Hillary Clinton. If you really need a puppetmaster, she may be a better candidate than Obama, but my sense is that nobody is really in charge.

Trump has a 55-0 endorsement record?

Is that true?

They both look dikey to me...maybe recalibrate your gaydar?

On the plus side, they could make millions doing commercials.

Interracial lesbian couple.*

Goddamned gold mine : )

*I see she 'considers herself black,' but nobody other than Shaun King would ever think that to look at her.

Suzanne Malveaux's background reveals the ultimate lefty family. Malveaux's father is a Harvard dean, mom is a school teacher. Malveaux's three sibling are college professor, college professor and Virginia state worker. Per wiki, Malveaux has stated that different members of her family identify as white, biracial, and/or black, and that she considers herself black (of course).

We can expect CNN to continue to provide glorious coverage of the senile one.

It depends on how you select the endorsements.

That's his record so far (/Homer Simpson) of about 130 endorsements in 2022 primaries, counting both outright winners and those who advanced to runoffs, and not excluding non-competitive races.

Huh - I wonder how much research as been performed on twins in this arena. This one instance might suggest that there is more to ‘nature’ than to ‘nurture’ (unless someone would argue that the parents actively promoted homosexual behavior in their children).

The 55-0 makes me nervous. If I understand correctly those are primaries and not general elections. Of course those are all R voters and not the general electorate. I am interested in winning elections and not primaries. As much as I respect the Tea Party, many of their candidates who got nominated lost badly in the general election. We ended up with more D’s. Not sure how that helps. I love Trump. Great President. But the Trump Agenda would win almost every state packaged in a more benign container.

The next two elections, 2022 and 2024, must be won by Rs. If not, the Ministry of Truth will be institutionalized and D’s will have rebuilt the Court. This is not the time for revenge. D’s need to be as coldly pragmatic as D’s, which is not our strong suit.

The Inferno post was a huge relief to this reader. To be reminded of someone who took morality seriously, even though that carries the thought of how each of us may be judged, was refreshing when contrasted with all the other topics.

@Jefferson's Revenge, re Taiba possibly winning the Derby later today.

In such a case, Baffert would receive some reflected glory, true. But the colt does have something special, and Bob is fading out little by little. I once saw Baffert at the Keeneland sales. He seemed to be everywhere, walking around, schmoozing madly with his charming smile and high spirits. I didn't recognize another trainer there, but Bob's white hair does make him conspicuous. He was ready to lend his hand to any of those expensive purchases if asked. He is hard not to like, yet there were not only the recent doping cases but also those "unexplained" deaths among horses in his barn 10-15 years back.

So that is the long way of saying I agree with you, reluctantly. Baffert is a peculiar poison. It tastes so sweet going down.

Who do you like in the race?

I see five or six really nice colts with unusual talent. Epicenter, those two from the Remsen, plus Cyberknife, Charge It, Abarrio, a couple others. Would love to get that Morning Line 12-1 on Taiba but I suspect 4-1 is closer to the final odds.

The Triple Crown races of 2017 had an unusual history to their winners. Three different horses won the Triple Crowns that year -- and not one of them ever won another race.

I love how some like Eric Swalwell are saying interracial marriage is next. Clarence Thomas laughed himself to sleep over that one..and Amy Comey Barrett's 2 black adopted children asked why they let RACISTS like Swalwell spew nonsense like that.

Kai. Sorry for delay. I usually look at speed numbers and jockey experience and eliminate weakness. Then I box trifectas. That traditionally worked well because I would hit every 3-4 years so I was net positive. Now I don’t trust the sport governance so I just watch. Will be rooting for you to cash a ticket let us know. I always watch. I still get chills. If horse racing and boxing could get better governance I would be in sports heaven. Then all I have to do is forgive my local MLB team for George Floyd night and be set for next 20 years. Riders up.

I got nothing on that card, Jefferson's Revenge. The closest I came was when they were loading horse 21 into the Derby starting gate and I asked the room, "What is that horse even doing in this race?"

Someone said Now you've done it. A dumbfounding result but a lot more fun than just watching the usual gang of owners preening over the latest horse they spent a mil to get in on after it won a few times. Or their "stable manager." Had more than my fill of those folks.
