Does anyone else here follow Krysten Sinema, senator from AZ? She has 185,000+ followers. She posts anodyne stuff, like a shout-out to an Arizona baker who won a reward, healthcare workers in AZ, etc. Her last posts got 48, 40, 34 (you get the point) likes.

I don't know what the term is ("throttling?") but this seems crazy.

The replies to her posts do not address the post but are knee-jerk objections to other positions she has taken.

Elaon where are you when Ktysten needs you?

I have tender seedlings outside. Well, they're on a heat mat, and under a mini-greenhouse. But they're outside!

Here in CT the phragmites have crowded out every native. No more cattails so far as I know.

Hope you can avoid the invasion, they are nasty.

Dwayne Haskins news:

A man who said he was driving on I-595 that morning after dropping off his daughter at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport told NBC6 Miami that “he made an immediate call to 911″ to report a man who was walking on the westbound lanes of the highway alone. Chris Stanley said he believes the man he saw may have been Haskins.

Stanley told NBC6 that he made a call to 911 at 6:31 a.m., just six minutes before the crash that killed Haskins.

“I did not see any vehicle nearby [that may have belonged to the man],” said Stanley. “I was more concerned with him because he was already making his way onto the road system. He was about halfway, to a quarter way in the right lane already onto the highway and I was already concerned that somebody was going to strike him right there at that moment.”

Stanley told NBC6 that he “saw the man’s arms raised up a little bit” as the man began to cross into the travel lanes. Stanley said he told 911 “this man is going to have a major accident if no one gets to him,” according to NBC6.

If true, the slap is going to get interesting again.

Chris Rock: “I’m OK, I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid,” the South Carolina native, 57, told attendees at his Fantasy Springs comedy show in Palm Springs, California, on Saturday, April 9, per the Desert Sun newspaper. “Life is good. I got my hearing back.”

I love the colors of the 1st, but the highlighted cattails in the 3rd. The shape of the sun, not so much(but- that’s not a criticism as I love to see the sunrise series from my little shadowed corner of the Kingdom).

Re-stocked 100 hybrid bluegill in my pond today. Did this a few years ago, along with largemouth bass. The bass have flourished, the bluegill have not. Being hybrids, they have a very low reproductive rate. I saw a blue heron once or twice meandering around the pond. Not sure it could consume that many. I could be wrong.

Crazy weather today. There was mixed rain and snow at our Snoqualmie home site. It was around 40 so it didn't stick.

Portland OR got about 6-in of snow this morning.

Would the bass get large enough to eat the bluegill?
No idea what a bluegill looks like- now I’m going to lookitup!

’The bass have flourished, the bluegill have not.’

Funny how that works…

No, the hybrid bluegill get very large and heavy, 12-13" in length.

I traveled 4 hours with the 100 2"-4" hybrid bluegill in the trunk of my car. Two boxes lined with plastic bags. 50 fish in each bag. About 4 gallons of water in each. The hatchery fills the top of the bags with pure oxygen and then ties off the bag. Pleasantly surprised that I didn't lose any fish during transport.

Idk Humperdink. Bass look Loki A/holes, to me.

@farmgirl. Fascinating video. Bluegill must docile as mine were larger than the bass at the time of their disappearance.
