Generally, if you ran a company, and could get Elon Musk to take a seat on your Board, wouldn’t that be about the coolest thing ever?

Headline on the Daily Caller: "Wind Energy Company Fined $8 Million For Killing 150 Eagles"

Nope, actually the wind energy company was fined $8 mil for not getting a permit to kill eagles. Who knew?

"Wind energy companies are allowed to apply for a permit that grants them immunity from the inevitable bird deaths that result from the massive turbines that rotate in the air. ESI did not seek that permit, the outlet reported."

An aspect of the Ukrainian war is that the Russian tanks and trucks which picked up Chernobyl mud and the soldiers' gear which rested in trenches dug in Chernobyl's Red Forest (all now radioactive to some degree) was all sent up to Belarus without any precautions. And seems that all this stuff is being moved around to the southeast and sent in to the two little statelets Russia is sponsoring down south. Red is rejoicing in Russian symbolism so this means that the Red Forest won't harm any Russians or Russian allies. Or maybe the Red Forest will appear in history books as a double symbol with Russian and Western meanings.

The Neat thing is; Both of these are completely true; and contradictory
sane people are depressed by current events; on the other hand, people like Howard are elated.
The hilarious part; is that Howard is BRAGGING, that he's Not one of the sane people

Today, another goatkid trip to Middlebury. My husband and daughter. Met the lady in a supermarket parking lot.

While waiting, they observed a young woman pushing a baby carriage, cigarette in her mouth and a shirt that had “His Bitch” printed on the back. Then a car pulled up, and a person w/capris, longish hair and a beard teetered along to the store in high heels. To each (their) own. My husband’s display of walking in imaginary heels was hilarious:0)

My daughter wanted to be snarky, but said- who are we? We’re the ones doing a meet up/goat deal in the middle of the parking lot!

The bureaucratic records and inconvenience of the Pro-Choice "ethical" religion. This is where Gosnell transgressed the threshold of urbane equity, the least of which, apparently, was a progressive transhumane spectrum.

Ah, snowdrops. Also known as Candlemas Bells, being among the first buds to emerge in spring. My son and his wife announced her pregnancy on Candlemas, Feb 2, aka the Feast of the Presentation. Now, I associate the feast and snowdrops with my first grandson. I snuck over to their house and planted snowdrop bulbs in their garden as a surprise. Ah, winsome snowdrops.

Via Twitchy, Critical Grooming Theory (well-aimed at Critical Race Theory):

@NeilShenvi
"Critical Grooming Theory"

When some people hear "groomer," they immediately apply a Western, individualistic lens. But they fail to realize that "grooming" is a systemic, structural problem deeply embedded in our "ways of knowing." 1/

When I, as a Critical Grooming Theorist (CGT) say that all progressives are groomers, I'm not saying that they personally support grooming, as defined by the dictionary. I'm saying that they benefit politically from "systems of advantage" that harm children. 2/

When a progressive is offended that he's called a "groomer," that is a symptom of "groomer fragility." He needs to sit with his discomfort and do the work to understand the lived experience of children and detrans folk who are harmed by systemic grooming. 3/

A lot of progressives think there is a category of "not groomer." But one is either "groomer" or "anti-groomer." Being "not groomer" is just a way to perpetuate systemic grooming. 4/

Grooming is one of many interlocking systems of oppression. One cannot be anti-groomer if one is a communist. One cannot be anti-groomer if one is a feminist. To be "anti-groomer" it to recognize the intersections of your communist, feminist, progressive privilege. 5/

Superficial change is insufficient. CGT shows that systemic grooming has been baked into supposedly neutral, objective ideas like "expressive individualism," "identity," and "social justice" from our nation's founding. Dismantling it requires fundamental social transformation 6/

Is this thread satire? Yes. But it's a satire based on statements and reasoning taken nearly verbatim from the Critical Social Justice literature (e.g. Kendi, DiAngelo, Adams, Collins, etc.). CSJ is fundamentally flawed, cynical, and deconstructive. It is a universal acid. 7/

If this thread frustrates you, good. It should. It shows why we need to reject CSJ. It will poison our discourse and tear to shreds the very fabric of our society. Maybe rethink how you've been redefining words like "racism," "bigotry," whiteness," and "Christian nationalism." 8/

If you've been drinking the Kool-Aid of CSJ language and ideology, it's time to wake-up. They're a dead-end. You don't have to choose between embracing CSJ and embracing actual racism/sexism/injustice. You can and must reject both. 9/9

China seems have adopted a policy of starving people to death to prevent them from getting covid.

Planned parenthood, planned parent/hood, or planned populationhood? All are viable Choices in the Communist arsenal to remove "burdens" in order to normalize social progress and for other purposes.

Invasion of a sovereign nation, violent conflicts with democratic neighbors, environmental arbitrage, labor arbitrage, practical and actual slavery, [catastrophic] [anthropogenic] immigration reform (e.g. refugees), and one-child/selective-child, too. The empathetic response of the transnational community has been underwhelming, and not just for eight and two years.

A commenter yesterday: "Thank god we're not a Christian nation."

Oh what a portrait the godless lefties painted have for our country. Slaughtering millions of babies (some after being birthed alive), more children without fathers, drug gangs running major cities, poverty rampant (after declaring the war on poverty), drug overdoses (read: deaths) at record levels, homeless everywhere in every major city run by lefties, test scores in lefty run schools in the tank, ad nauseam.

The commenter is correct the US is no longer a Christian nation. It accelerated when Justice Harry Blackmon mysteriously stated in 1973 he did not know when life began. Amusing the commenter thanked "god" though.

The night heron who adopted us, or at least our backyard, has been with us all week on this, his second visit. He rests in a nice old evergreen, some kind of pine with complex foliage, and wanders about on the ground when in the mood. Does he go off at night and fish? We don't know. He is often in the exact same spot in the morning that he was perched in the evening before. There is a pond about a quarter mile away, and many streams a little farther, but what appeals to him we know not. He sometimes hikes around the property with a hunting look in his eye, and he pecks among the pine needles and swallows whatever odd bug he may have found. It is a huge treat having him around.

So Progressives hold a Disinformation Conference, and the college students kept asking them questions they couldn't answer, or they would be "disinformation". What a joke it is. The College Students seemed so much smarter and informed than ANYBODY on the stage. It gives me hope for the future. So much better than the Progressive students who hate free speech. https://therightscoop.com/is-two-genders-disinformation-amy-klobuchar-wont-answer-as-moderators-grab-mic-from-questioner/
