They were in another spot, a protected bay, which was completely melted. The pattern seen in this picture formed, I am inferring, from the opening up of some areas and cracking, causing there to be floating plates that collected this area and, crushing together, formed those elevated piles of curving lines of broken up where the plates collided. I've never seen it quite like this before, I don't think.; 3/28/22, 2:17 PM
