"It’s not until the 24th paragraph that the story mentions e-mails involving Hunter Biden and his associates in those deals..."

"... followed by these two sentences: 'Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.' Heart be still. It took the Gray Lady nearly 17 months to grudgingly concede even a fraction of what New York Post readers learned in October 2020. Of course, Times readers would have learned all that too if their paper was still in the news business instead of being a running dog for Democrats...."

Writes Michael Goodwin in "The New York Times hates to say The Post told you so" (NY Post).

MEANWHILE: "It’s sad, because the baby looks like him, with blond hair," said the lawyer for Lunden Roberts, quoted in "Lawyer for mother of Hunter Biden’s child says he expects president’s son to be indicted" (NY Post).

We'll know the NYT is serious, and Biden in real trouble, when your beloved newspaper of record deals with the following:

"Here’s an idea: Why doesn’t it let Ken Vogel, one of three reporters on Thursday’s story, write what he knows. Bobulinski told Vogel the “big guy” email was authentic in October 2020, but the Times has never seen fit to print it.

And what’s the Times going to do about the email where Hunter complains to his daughter that his father takes half of his income from him? Or the one where a partner on other deals, Eric Schwerin, writes that he moves money between Hunter and Joe’s checking accounts?

So maybe the big guy didn’t just lie about never discussing his son’s business. Maybe he was getting a cut all along."

What will the media do if Hunter Biden is indicted?

They will, of course, wish deeply that they could ignore it altogether, but that will be hard given that he's the son of the sitting president. My guess is that they will completely ignore that merits of the case and instead sing the praises of Biden for being so dedicated to truth, justice, and the American way that he would allow his own son to be prosecuted. No one is above the law, don't cha know?

Joe's business ties to Hunter will be ignored at all costs.

Just a reminder that the article by the NY Post about this laptops and it's contents, apparently obtained legally now, was broadly banned. It would unable to be shared or talked about on facebook, twitter, or other spheres. It was banned by MSM on their platforms. If you direct messaged about it on twitter, your DM was removed and your account was threatened or locked.

Much like today if you share a peer-reviewed journal article about Ivermectin, for example.

My point is this: These companies have become evil towards speech.

Why was Hunter Biden, a brain-damaged crack-addict, hired onto the Board of Directors of Ukraine's largest natural-gas company?

Hunter Biden was hired because the Ukrainian Government was a puppet of the US Government.

Hunter Biden's father was the Obama Administration's "point man on Ukraine". Therefore, Ukraine had to pay Hunter Biden $85,000 a month for a no-show job.

That is what a puppet government has to do.

If Vice President Joe Biden ordered the Ukraine Government to fire its Attorney General within two hours, then that puppet government fired its Attorney General that quickly.

That is what a puppet government has to do.

Of course a lot of Biden apologists in denial forget that the FBI had the laptop way before Rudy ever got his hands on it, and just sat on it and pretend that it's child's play to insert fake content after the fact (it's not) or that a crack head could never leave a laptop behind in a repair shop and forget about it.

It had a sticker on it from the "Beau Biden Foundation," which is no doubt a money laundering operation, like the Clinton Foundation.

I take this as a sign that the Dems want Biden gone and are letting this information out to prep the battlefield for forcing him out. The next step would be indictments of Hunter, followed by somber Dem politicians announcing at a press conference that they support an independent counsel to investigate. Biden will be told that if he steps down, it will all go away, but that if he fights then they will strip him of everything.

Since I enjoy political drama, here's my wild-ass .5% chance scenario:

The "Big Guy" kickback emails will lead to an impeachment, and it would be best for the Democrats if a Democratic congress pulled the trigger. This is the only way they could minimize the collateral damage of the fact-finding and impeachment session.

It'll be interesting to see if there is a move to replace Kamala Harris over the next couple of months, get her to resign on her own and replace her with a...less controversial VP. This would be a sure sign that a Biden impeachment is coming.

We are living in the USSA. All the institutions are aligned against the populist right or, in a word Trump. It’s shocking the level of deceit, cruelty, damage these institutions are willing to inflict on society to expunge Trump. How many tens of thousands of deaths could have been prevented if this cabal had not denied that therapies like hydroxychloroquine could help the Covid infected simply because Trump endorsed it. I believe the war-drum beating right now is more about Trump than Ukraine. Somehow in their twisted, hate-filled brain, the cabal associates Russia with Trump. To kill it, they kill him.

We have always been controlled by these forces but never so brazenly. The only hope is a massive blowout win past that margin of Dem cheating in 2022. But at best we will have “scotched the snake, not killed it,” as Macbeth put it. Still, that’s better than now.

Mike Sylwester has a typically excellent comment, too. Was Trump impeached over Ukraine to scare him (and other politicians) off from looking more deeply into Ukraine? We certainly never got satisfaction about what was going on in Benghazi even though our Ambassador was killed. Will we ever know what was going on with the Democrats that they so badly needed to make it impeachable to question Biden's relationship to Ukraine? (NPR is still dredging up the Ambassador who was fired by Trump, as her being let go from Kyiv is what caused what is happening now)

I suspect the Tucker Carlson interview with Tony Bobulinski would be somewhat more relevant now, eh?

Perhaps it should be shown again. And again. And again. Clearly, Joe Biden has taken money from the Russians, the Ukrainians, and the Chinese. And we're not talking $5s and $10s. We're talking millions. Enough to sway decisions, cease oil & gas production in the US, and open the door to trouble. We were made aware of Joe's dealings in early autumn 2020. That the 'paper of record' is still acting- and I stress the word acting- as if this is all new information, is pretty much their SOP.

Remember, they told the world that the Holodomor was nothing and that Uncle Joe (Stalin, not Biden) was doing a bang-up job creating a new civilization in the Soviet Union. Huzzah! That was done for money and access. Some things never change, do they?

I go back and forth. It could be the puppet masters want Joe gone though this could also be a modified limited hangout in order to say it's "old news", "Hunter was already indicted", "time to move on" in 2024. They may roll the dice with Harris. She's no worse than Biden when it comes to misreading a teleprompter and at least has more energy. With Manchin becoming a one-man stonewall for the progressive wish list they will need something to fire up the base for the current election, nothing like having the old stand-bys of sexism and racism to do that. They are also up against the almost certainly that the House, and the possibility that the Senate, will be in Republican hands in 2023 and give the GOP at least a say in who the replacement VP would be if they don't move now. They can always primary Harris. She'll be in the record books (with an asterisk), and if she moves to the Oval Office before the end of January 2023 she would be an instant lame duck if elected in 2024 because she served more than 2 years of Biden's term.

The best way to understand the odd hopscotch around the Hunter Biden story goes back to a point made by Vox in a story entitled "Prime Directive of Clinton investigations: We know the Clintons are guilty; the only question is what are they guilty of and when will we find the evidence?"

The stink surrounding the Hunter fiasco begins with the (coincidentily) Republican supporter of a small Wilmington computer repair shop named John Paul Mac Isaac, who sent copies of computer drives from water-soaked laptops - supposedly belonging to Hunter but who Mac Isaac says he couldn't identify - to Rudy Giuliani’s attorney and a famous Trump operative, Brian Costello.

In my mind, the next thing that happened was that someone on the White House staff (as was the case with the fake story on Dominion Voting Systems that could bankrupt Rudy) to whip up a big lie to match the carefully assembled files on the computer and to feed said story to the right-wing New York Post. That story begot more of the same from far-right media and more accusations appeared about illegally working for Burisma/China and the beat goes on more than 400 days later.

If there is a case to be made, let's have a trial and cut out the vacant accusations.

Hunter's a lowlife. I wouldn't necessarily take what he says literally. The most likely explanation of "the big guy" is that he was venting against having to give money to his father and exaggerating how much money Joe took from him.

It's a mystery where Obama's fortune came from and there's definitely shadiness involved there, but given the tensions between Obama and Biden, I don't see Obama demanding a cut of Hunter's takings.

Too many takers cut into the grift increases the chances of things going wrong. Moreover, it looks like Joe got his cut not in cash or in securities but in Hunter paying his bills for him. That's not something it would be easy to cut a third party into.
