That dirty Bengals touchdown after the half. If there is any justice Rams will score TD now that they are so close at 2 minute warning.

Refs must feel same way with that penalty.

Somebody check the rams owner for a pulse.

It was a good game, better than I expected.

The refs blew a call in favor of the Bengals in the first half and (as I predicted to my wife) they blew a call in favor of the Rams in the fourth quarter. It was a make up call.

I’m never going to see a Brady v Rodgers in a Super Bowl. So I’m not interested.

I used to be a sports junky. I played fantasy sports and would listen to golf on the radio. When the Kaepernick shit started, and spread, I stopped following sports, cold turkey. I live near L.A.. Since I stopped following sports, The Dodgers have won a world series, the Lakers an NBA championship and the Rams a Superbowl. There was a time I would have celebrated.

I'm upset that Irish Spring couldn't fit in someone of color in their ad. Haven't they heard of the Black Irish?

For years upon years what have socialists been yelling?

“Workers of the world, UNITE”

So when the Canadian workers did just that, the socialists suddenly weren’t happy when their long-held dream happened.

The reason: the NWO socialists weren’t in charge. Lots of tears being shed at both Pratt House and Chatham House.

The Nazi flag isn't all that divisive; it's universally reviled. The communist flag, the banner of 100 million deaths in the 20th Century is the divisive one, since there are people who support it, in significant numbers.

Matt Stanford was great, as he always is. And that Yakima WR was a true warrior. And then along came the unbeatable Aaron Donald to shut down the game. Never was a better game.

Other than the opening round (too many wild cards), this the best set of playoff games I can remember.

I saw the last 4 minutes of the Super Bowl. Very exciting. So was Puppy Bowl.

My latest aural addiction is Samuel Barber songs. "Sure on this shining night" from Op. 13 is well-represented at Youknowhotube. I'm partial to Shea Owens for low voice at the moment.

I just watched “Being the Ricardos”. It struck me (I’m probably not the first) that the mortal threat that the stars of such a popular show felt from the accusation of past communist sympathies; and the risk that other actors they worked for might shun them for it — either out of fear or principle; and the presumed cowardice of corporate sponsors and network execs., was a critique of today’s intolerance and censorship. Not something I would have expected from Sorkin.

It was a low penalty game until it wasn't. Make up for missed Off pass interference for a Bengals TD? The LA Basin was crystal clear to the Cleveland National Forest. Al Michaels slipping? Snoop Dre and MM tribute to Inglewood was nice.

Ben is going to need some move coaching if he plans to stay with Jennifer for keeps. Bro.

Great Super Bowl game. Aaron Donald is a beast. The pre-game Rock and the halftime show were utterly forgettable.

I think the ads told us a lot about the state of our culture. If you are a creative type at the ad agency, sixty seconds of Super Bowl ad time must be like meth-suffused crack with a side order of heroin. Certainly the insane crap that I watched (while trying to cover my eeyyyyeeeesss) convinced me that they really didn't know how to spend their resources wisely. I saw lots of black folk, of course. Lots of male-mocking humor, you bet. As for the end-of-world/transcendentalist/post-secular future fantasies, yes a remarkable amount. But I wasn't really counting.

Any theories of what this means? I mean, besides just flogging trucks, beer, cell service, or tax software?

At some level, clearly, the system works. Because, noisome as this stuff is, here we are talking about it.

Justin Trudeau's new tactic seems to be to give in to the truckers' demands without ever negotiating with them. "What's happened is just that, la, la, la, the science changed at this moment, coincidence, la, la, la. And so masking and vaccinating requirements change, eh?" And so the Canadian government looks good (in the mirror) as it continues to say that the truckers represent the Parti Confederate Nazi du Fringe. Oui, bien sur.

So traitor Mike Lindell is sending his $19.95 pillows (down from $49.95) to anti-vax drivers in the Great North. I can always hope that they are hauling My Pillow branded products.

Lindell is crying about losing many millions of dollars after the likes of Costco, Kohls, Bed Bath & Beyond, Mattress Firm, Kroger, Lowes and JC Penney dropped the brand.

Did you see ALL the hypocritical Progressives in the audience not wearing masks?? But they are still forcing your young children to mask up at school. Eric Garcetti must be REALLY good at holding his breath, because he didn't wear one at all!!!

Michael said...

There are missed calls then there are blown calls. The face mask on the 75 harder was a missed call. The holding at the 2 yard line was a blown call.

I'm happy for Matthew Stafford, who spent 12 years in purgatory with the Detroit Lions before being allowed to show his stuff on a good team.

So once again we have a "news" story coming out of the Trump admin sourced by our enemy of the people press to unnamed sources. And of course Gadfly, because he is a Chinese troll bot and they haven't quite figured out how to make him learn on the fly, falls for it like he did the Alfa Bank story, the Russian Dossier story, the Afghanistan Bounties story, etc etc etc.

Some day the Chicomms will get their troll bots to learn. Today is not that day.
