This Australian MP seemingly lacks any self awareness:

@MarkMcGowanMP had an indigenous elder translate his message from English to “Aboriginal-English.”

Reminiscent of...

Isn't it amazing how Ted Cruz is suddenly so concerned about the obvious reichstag fire on J6?

In he end he will accomplish nothing.

It is a mystery why.

Nice pic. It looks as if people are going way out on the ice. I wonder how they tell where "thin ice" is? Is this another Wisconsin secret?

Looks a lot like Desolation Row.

Btw, when is it time to sell Warren Buffett?

Are those footprints leading away from the nuclear holocaust on the horizon?

Brrr! I'm sure those who venture onto the ice alone or in small groups know what they're doing, for the most part.

In Napoleon's day, infantry could maneuver but not march on 2-3 inches of ice; cavalry needed 4-7, and artillery a minimum of 5. Of course you didn't want them concentrated in one place.

The tale of great numbers of Russian troops drowning in icy ponds after the battle of Austerlitz is more legend than fact, apparently.

I thought there was a worker shortage.

Or, is this what passes for virtue signaling today?
It could be just lips moving.

Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Strange days indeed

Haven't you watched the Mighty Ducks? You just know. But a lake without currents is probably pretty uniformly frozen, I have never been there, so I say 'probably'; trust local knowledge. On Lake Champlain, which is more like a river, the locals know where the currents undermine the ice, and most of the deaths are drunks, out of towners, or old men whose senses are not what they once were. One way to go through the ice is to drive out there, run into a floe that has been refrozen in place, but by much thinner ice, and when you drive onto it, it flips, dumps you in, and resettles, and you are gone without a trace until maybe spring, some pilot spots your car from the air. That happened about three or four years ago after some guy told his friends at the bar that he was going to "drive home across the bay."

They say the new phone cameras make it easy to take pictures with level horizons. I always had trouble with that. Or is it the wide angle lens that makes the horizon seem to curve? Maybe it's the curvature of the earth? In any case, there's something a little surreal or off-kilter about the picture. That's not a criticism. It's the unusual pictures that people look at the longest.

Great photo, thanks, Ann.

There is.

But you need to realize that the 5 Big Banks are beyond productivity or profits.

They only exist because of Regime regulations that protect them.

Consumers would be out of them if they could. But the SEC and the CFPB are there to smack the crap out of small banks and keep the regime cronies in power.

And the Regime Cronies attack enemies of the regime.

The giant corporations are all in on this corruption. That is how National Socialism works.

Barbarians at work undermining civil society. Tossing people on the unemployment line because they want to control their own health care is the very definition of barbarous.

There are many good reasons to stop using Big Bank. This is another.

I'm wondering what the two smoke/vapor plumes are coming from; one right of center, another (further away, it appears) left of center. Was this photo from Picnic Point?

They didn't actually split a baby just the decision on vaccine mandates. Good news for small businesses.

In addition to his never-was-great-anyway mind, Biden losing all over.

Joe Biden just admitted the real reason the Democrats must pass HR1, the so called voting rights bill: "It's who counts the votes!" The Democrats know that if the votes are counted honestly, they lose.

Blago was funny. In a discussion of family dogs, he said his kids had two--the original and the "Daddy's going to prison" dog.
