wow, you seem to be moving pretty fast for a 70 y/o.
Looks like the Regime media decided to push the Christmas Parade Masscare by Darrell Brooks to the back pages. And Winsconsin's Two US Senators, who didn't issue any joint statements on Rittenhouse, Darrell Brooks murdering six people, or the Kenosha BLM riots last summer, are now issuing joint statement condemning "Sinister Forces" "that are showing up" "exploiting the tragedy".
But then wasn't Sen. Johnson screeching about the "Deadly Jan 6th INSURRECTION !!111" like all the other Senators? And did he say one word against 25,000 NG troops wasting their time for months protecting our Cowardly DC Pols, against absolutely nothing?
Look the Republicans are worthless. They are never going to fight the Liberal/Left on anything except Tax cuts for the Rich and helping Big businss. No doubt Sen. Johnson is getting Big $$ from the Chamber of Commerce and looking forward to a nice Hedgefund job after he leaves the Senate. Why can't these Asshole Senators EVER show any real leadership?

Maybe that Hunter laptop had covid... that's why nobody wanted to touch it.
Sublime
I like the composition. The State House seems to balance the brilliance of the sun rise.
You won’t hear it from Ann the feminist but tomorrow begins the Ghislane Maxwell trial where Prosecutor Comey- yes, daughter to that Comey- will protect the guilty leftie child rapers at all cost…
…at least there’s no more mean tweets…
Passed by an inflatable Christmas yard figure while walking the dog. Might be a big gingerbread person dressed like an elf, but at first glance I took it for Mr. Hanky.
Will look more closely tomorrow, in the sunlight.

Is Ann hiding behind a tree? I don’t see her.
Keep us posted Narr. Don't leave us hanging.
Between October 23 and November 21, more people have been murdered in Milwaukee without charges being brought than have died solely of Covid. Yet Covid is the emergency. Why?
I found the Medical Examiner site for Milwaukee and read through the "natural" deaths - the category that includes COVID deaths, starting on October 23, 2021 till today, November 28. There were 287 natural deaths in that period, many of which listed Covid as the primary cause. There were less than ten deaths in which the sole cause was Covid. All the other Covid deaths had at least two other major causes, i.e., hypertension and diabetes; end stage renal failure and cancer. Plus there was age - over sixty. Under 10 of the deaths were among relatively young people - Thirties and Forties - and these deaths were accompanied by "morbid obesity" or else alcoholism, which they call "ethanol abuse".
Since October 23, no one has been charged in any of the 15 shootings, ruled homicides, that occurred between October 23 and November 21 in Milwaukee. But this failure of law and order, surely a public health issue, has brought no response from the Governor.

No.
Go to duckduckgo dot com and put in "Sen Ron Johnson January 6 Insurrection." Quite the contrary. He's been attacked for claiming it was not an armed insurrection.
Next time, Meade should not place Althouse near the dead center of his frame.
If we're going to play "Where's Waldo?" let it be more challenging.
But this failure of law and order, surely a public health issue, has brought no response from the Governor.
You might as well expect CNN to connect that vicious self-driving SUV with Darrell E. Brooks, Jr., its owner.
(Of course, that red Ford might be possessed by a demon. No person of color would ever harm anyone.)
CNN reports, Actor Matthew McConaughey announced Sunday that a future in political leadership is not in the cards -- right now.
Not being a complete fool Quaestor was disinclined to credit this report with the degree of trust he normally reserves for reports of Big Foot or the Loch Ness monster until he read this statement from the would-be candidate, "I'm more of a folksy and philosopher poet statesman than I am a, per se, definitive politician."
That's the genuine article speaking his mind, such as it is. One can think of many things Matthew McConaughey is more of than a, per se, folksy and philosopher poet statesman.
Althouse ought to find a spot on the shoreline that lines up the State Capital dome with the winter solstice sunrise. That would be a significant photo -- sort of a tribute to all those neolithic farmers who built monuments and structures to observe and celebrate the astronomical cycles that ruled their lives. Madison is uniquely suitable for such a tribute. Few places have the benefits of flat terrain, a calm lake for the foreground, and an urban skyline dominated by a dome.

Am I the only one who noticed that Rupert Murdoch's NY Post is the original source for almost all recent Hunter Biden laptop stories that make the president's son an illegal trillionaire?
Whatever happened to John Paul Mac Isaac — owner of The Mac Shop in Wilmington - that "found" liquid-soaked Hunter Biden laptops, gave them to a twice-indicted Steve Bannon and soon-to-be-indicted Rudy Giuliani, closed shop and sailed off into the sunset?
BTW, The Post seemingly has not somehow found a single illegal Trump activity to write about over the same period of time.
If you take a sip of brandy with every other Omega XL commercial, seventy is no problem.
@gadfly
If you Google "hunter laptop FBI" you will discover a number of stories that confirm the existence of the laptop and the FBI's possession of it.
I see Althouse now.

I assume that it's what the boys over in Groton, at Electric Boat say to use to avoid scurvy
“Lower than lime?“
Yes—tequila. Spirit. Uplift. Elevation. And below Tequila is Guadalajara.

Two points:
1) The NY Post is not the source of ANY story accusing Hunter Biden of trillionaire status, lawful or otherwise. The dollar amount of bribes offered to and received by Hunter Biden is not even a billion.
2) You're not the only one who has noticed what a lickspittle defender of graft and lawlessness you are.
Meade writes, "And below Tequila is Guadalajara."
The Tapatios will tell you nothing is beneath Tequila.
¡Salud!

Seven day average of daily covid deaths in South Africa is 6. Out of a population of almost 60 million.
In a related note (idiot) governor of NY cancels elective surgeries in her state.

If you don't have chaos inside you how can you give birth to a dancing star?
It's funny how leftists have the same anti-Murdoch talking points.
Ah yes... the Importance of Not Being Seen!
In the clear light of day, the inflatable around the corner is a cheerful gingerbread person (pronouns yum and mee) and not Mr. Hanky.
Though I suppose it's only a matter of time.
