Are those purple things the beets or the carrots? Or are the beets on the left? I bought beets and carrots for borscht on Tuesday night, but my beets are the ruby-red variety. Meade's look vaguely orangish to me.
Nice. Speaking of beats, I texted my son to see if he was coming over for the Bears game, but fat fingered "bears" and texted "beats" by mistake...saw my error and the texted the correct Bears:
I tried to grow tomatoes in my new home state this year and got nearly nothing. It makes one glad that there are commercial farmers out there who know what they are doing.
Lovely. One of the things we love about France is the multicolored vegetables, particularly the carrots. No plain orange American carrots! Those look scrumptious. Are you cooking some French food tonite?

NICE!! So colorful!!
Photo like that should have a familiar object in it for scale imho. Unless the photo is just for aesthetic expression.

Me: Beats
Me: Bears
Son: Battlestar Galatica
I love to cut off the beet leaves and wilt/saute' them in a little bacon grease. They're a great addition to anything.
This is how preference cascades work.
Black voters will never be a captive democrat audience again.

And if you are, can we come over?
Wisconsin election officials ignored the election laws in 2020 and accepted illegal ballots. "We don't need no stinkin' election laws."

We added some Yukon gold potatoes from the store and roasted everything.
