considering how many times this guy has been released.. he's probably thinking "ho hum... not this again... oh well. I'll be out soon..."

So, I'm guessing the media is declaring that they're not going to bat for Brooks.

Somewhere in the recesses of Brooks' mind he probably thought the MSNBC coverage of the Rittenhouse trial made him some kind of avenging angel.

Notice it was NBC cutting him loose in this clip; NBC might as well have answered the question:

"Do you know this guy?"/"Absolutely not."

Protip (from i that's had police draw on him)
When the cops say: "Hands up"
...place your hands up
...do it SLOWLY
...do NOT then start waving your hands around, and
DO NOT PUT ONE BACK IN (or, even towards) YOUR POCKETS

{all this assumes, that you're Not a mass murderer that is TRYING to get shot}

If someone rings my doorbell at night... I would have talked to them from INSIDE the house with locked door and Glock 9mm!

If you have a Ring doorbell, you see the guy and you can talk to him. The whole point is to avoid opening the door!

So, has Chisholm blamed the $1000 bail on Scott Walker yet?

Yancey Ward said...

So, I take it this video was after the massacre?

He's perfectly calm. He just drove right over literally dozens of children and old women, and he's not upset at all.

I must've missed something: I have no idea what this is about, other than it being Darrell Brooks in yet another encounter with the law.

What did I miss?

What happened at the time jump around 1:02
Was that the ring camera or did MSNBC decide we didn't need to see that part?

Ring doorbell or not, don't open the door if you don't know the person.

I had to chew my wife out about a month ago, when she unlatched the kitchen door, which has glass, to hear what two youths (one B/b, one W/w) had to say. So what if she's hard of hearing?

They were some legit thing, but I'm glad I was in the other room observing rather than out in the back yard or somewhere else.

Foolish woman.

Andy Ngo, the hero journalist of Portland, posted that Brooks is a black man with a long history of Anti-white, hatefilled BLM activism. He's now under assault by Regime media journalists and Leftists like Kieth Olbermann. They're upset he printed the truth, and they're angry twitter didn't supress it.

Basically, the regime media doesn't want to report the news, they want to supress it. Don't report on problems with CV-19 dictates. Don't talk about the Jan 6th protest. Don't talk about the Election fraud. Don't talk about Hunter Biden or his laptop. Don't talk about illegal immigration and any problems its causing. Don't talk about why we're having runaway inflation. Etc. Etc.

Just another evil white person trying to help a black person.

I suspect the only reason the person opened up the front door is to get them off the front porch and assess the risk. You will note that the guy who came out is rather large and muscular and keeps him away from the door while attempting to get his phone back.

But yeah, I wouldnt have opened the door and let someone use my cell phone.

I think the guy really really really did not want to seem racist, so he went the extra mile to go out the door and help. And then.....

"Who's there?"

"Land shark"

"Okay, I'll open the door"

Com'n, man.

Orange Man Bad and Climate Change have higher blame rankings.

You don't need to use someone else's phone to call Uber about a ride you already called for. This homeowner showed incredible stupidity in letting this dude into his home.

I guess that's an improvement on peepholes and curtains. when i was left alone at home as a kid and the the doorbell rang, I'd just pull back the living room curtain and peek. If it wasn't someone on the approved list, I wasn't supposed to answer.

Looking back, we were so open to strangers. If the phone rang (before caller ID) we'd answer it. God knows who was on the other line. People had their names and address in the phone book. Now, nobody picks up if they don't know the person and are very careful giving out their address or cell phone number.

I wonder when SNL will do a skit about the Christmas Parade massacre.

Darrell Brooks was misinformed that the “get out of jail card” he had only applied to Milwaukee County and not Waukesha County, where they take criminal actions seriously. Milwaukee DA Chisholm and his staff can no longer provide “restorative justice” for Brooks - why was he not charged with attempted murder when he used his vehicle to run over the mother of his child last month? His vehicle’s tire tracks were on her pants, for Pete’s sake!!! Instead, he got a low bail and got released from jail a couple of days before he drove through the Waukesha Christmas Parade with fatal results for 5 unfortunate souls.

Wow!! I've never had a Uber driver with a uniform....oh, wait.

I noticed several jumps in the video as well. I'm sure it's for our protection.

Drago said...

If Darrell Brooks had been black the police would have shot him, especially if he crossed state lines.

Open the door, and hand over your cell phone???

Yeah.....no fucking way.

Well, it was his SECOND DAY of driving over people.
he MIGHT have gotten A Little upset, after driving over his ex girl (the first day)
but, by the time of the parade....driving over people was Old Hat.
Killing was second nature to him by then
Plus, he had Satan on his side; encouraging him and Praising his murders

THE GOOD NEWS IS: the DA will certainly let him out on bail AGAIN (think i'm kidding?)

Wow, just wow ... "Rider's Midwestern hospitality kicked in. He invited the man into his home, gave him a jacket, made him a sandwich, and let him use his phone."

Aren’t Ring door bells installed to keep the criminals OUT? This guy who let the murderer into his house must have been in desperate need for some company. How stupid can a person be? He’s lucky that is isn’t #6 dead in Waukesha.

Pro-tip: If a guy has a prison tattoo, don't open the door.

Our lefties/LLR-lefties have been a little slow off the mark on this as they've not yet called for Trump to be impeached again over this latest "incident".

It is hard to believe. What is he thinking? At 58 Seconds. Was he reflexively going to pull his pants up? Is he just being a dick to freak out the cop?

If this had happened in the upper-middle-class white Oakland neighborhood where I no longer live, the NextDoor app would now be on fire with condemnations of the white guy's racism.
