"The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human."

Tweeted Nicki Minaj, quoted in "Nicki Minaj hits back at Biden White House after it claims vaccine-related phone call, not visit, was offered/Earlier this week, Minaj faced backlash after she wrote a tweet asserting that a friend of her cousin's became impotent from the vaccine" (Fox News).

Also quoted: Terrence Deyalsingh, Trinidad's health minister, saying he'd government had "wasted so much time" over Minaj's tweet about someone in Trinidad experiencing swollen testicles: "There is absolutely no reported such side effect or adverse event of testicular swelling in Trinidad."

"I remember going to China and they were telling us you know, you cannot speak out against, you know, the people in power, there, etc," Minaj said in an Instagram Live video on Wednesday night. "Don't y'all see that we are living now in that time where people will turn their back on you … but people will isolate you if you simply speak and ask a question."

AND: It will be interesting to see who, ultimately, wins Minaj.

The White House was idiotic to contradict her and say they didn't invite her to make an in-person trip to the White House, only to do a phone call. So what if they are technically correct about that? They sound disrespectful and her fans are going to resolve the she-said/they-said in favor of her. She has millions of fans, and she's influential with people who are suspicious about the vaccine. It's a ludicrous own-goal to say she's wrong about the invitation. Save your credibility for asserting that she's wrong to question the vaccine.

Meanwhile, Fox News is falling all over itself embracing her. It would be only too pleased to have her on all the shows every night. But I can't believe she will want to get too closely identified with Fox News, even if she is saying things that are right in their zone.

PLUS: You have to listen to the spoken-word of Minaj. The quotes are good, but the audio is special: AND:

How much time did Trinidad's health minster waste? Minaj cited an identifiable person. Did someone call Minaj's cousin to ask who she was talking about? That seems like the starting point.

I'm going with, no. If someone did, he would have said so.

In our morning scrum not 15 minutes ago one of our team discussed how he was having blood pooling in his lower legs due to the Vaccine.

He wanted to make sure everyone knew it was really caused by his previous conditions and not to fear the vaccine.

The problem here is Tony Fauchi is a malignant troll who funded development of COVID-19 in the first place and is trying to cover his tracks.

The problem is we have a corrupt dishonest liar like Joe Biden as president who was bashing the vaccine just a few months ago now mandating the vaccine. Cackling Kamala is sure trying to keep a low profile.

And we have a CDC that has been openly lumping in Pneumonia and Flu deaths with COVID-19 to artificially boost the death totals.

There is vaccine hesitancy because our government is just a bunch of dishonest illegitimate hacks that nobody trusts.

They are illegitimate and everyone knows it. Nobody trusts anything they say because they have been caught lying so many times.

Black people are not this dumb. Most of the votes the Democrats receive from Black people are fabricated at this point.

We’ve had too much discussion of Nikki Minaj’s cousin’s friend’s swollen testicles, and not nearly enough discussion of marbles in people’s asses.

Fortunately, the Fox News Channel has us covered:

Of all the hip-hop artists mt 14yo daughter favors, and whose lyrics I’ve come to know, Minaj has the best rhymes. Megan Thee Stallion or however she currently styles it, is also the cleverest of the so-called (by my wife among others) stripper-rappers. Minaj’s tune Only with Drake, Chris Brown and Lil’ Wayne is a fun play on celebrity and gender stereotypes.

Right. Now take the next step, Minaj: many of "y'all" like it that way. "People" prefer power over principle, since power is their purpose. Good of you to call BS on their MO, as long as you realize that the MO is deliberate and, to coin a term, systemic. Covid just amplified it, through a coalition of the Anointed and the Karens.

So Biden invites Minaj but not Tucker Carlson.

They both have followers.

Minaj’s followers, if they vote, would tend to vote for Dems.

The Dems, and some GOP, have bashed Big Pharma for years.

Now the government tells its citizens and legal immigrants that Big Pharma’s vaccines are good. So good the government wants to mandate Big a Pharma vaccinations.

Government officials have pushed some big conspiracy theories over the past 10 years: Systemic Racism, Rampant Police Brutality, Russia Collusion, Fraudulent Elections.

In the meantime they set up China at the expense of the US, tried to Nation Build in Iraq and Afghanistan, and created a surveillance state while opening the borders to the Third World.

The incompetence and corruption staggers the country.

What does Nikki Minaj have in common with the people who watch Fox? I'd love to hear Jen Psaki answer that question. She should look around and see if Ron Ziegler left any notes behind on how she should deal with what's coming next.

Tucker has range. Who here would like to hear a couple of hours of discussion with Tucker, Nikki, and Curtis Yarvin? I bet I'd learn something important that I didn't already know before it was over.

There are 47 reports of testicular swelling following COVID vaccinations reported in VAERS. Now, it is entirely possible all 47 have nothing at all to do with COVID vaccination, but Anthony Fauci doesn't know there is no connection any more than I do. And Tim Maguire above is right- it should not have taken the Trinidad guy more than 30 minutes to identify the cousin and talk to her directly- that he gave no details on what he actually did suggests to me he did nothing at all other than lie.

Look, Minaj may have fabricated the entire thing, but no one seems to have done any work to prove she did.

Leland said...

I see Nikki Minaj is now culturally appropriating Legally Blonde, while FoxNews is trying to culturally appropriate Nikki Minaj.

Another takeaway is that the Trinidad government gave enough validity to Minaj's tweet that they spent time trying to disprove it and didn't do so conclusively.

I'm vaccinated, and I made that decision without consideration of the advice of the White House, FoxNews, nor Nikki Minaj. I simply waited, as if I had much choice in that, for enough others to take the vaccine and then made my own determination of potential threats were not substantial to the benefit.

Regardless, what the hell does voter ID have to do with whether or not some musician thinks her cousin's balls were swollen due to the Covid vaccine? More likely it was chlamydia or gonoerrhea, which would also explain why his fiancé was so pissed off.

Here, it isn’t so much dishonesty, but gross incompetence. She thought that she had been invited to meet with Dementia Joe in the WH. Their story is that she misunderstood, and Biden meant a phone call. Under Trump, there wouldn’t have been an issue - they would gladly have fit her into his schedule. But Biden’s people can’t just stack up visitors, one group after another. Instead, Biden’s people have to laboriously prep him for each and every public event. They can’t depend on Biden being able to wing it for hours at a time, as Trump did. Who knows the real truth here, but in any case, Biden is left looking weak and incompetent.

My my. The vaxholes have gotten really twisted this time. One of the world's biggest sex symbols, who has a very large young black male demographic, one of the most vax resistant groups, in her fan base tells them that the vaccine may double the size of their balls and allow them to have unprotected sex without risking an unwanted pregnancy. I wouldn't be surprised if some of her fans got in line to get jabbed because of the tweet. Yet the vaxholes went apoplectic

But seriously, the pro vax rhetoric is almost entirely performative, not based on concern for public welfare. It is about power and optimizing political outcomes. So the intensity of their response is the tell. Their objection is to the fact that Minaj pointed out that democrats were treating blacks as subjects and republicans were actually respecting blacks as individuals. Which is a fact that the left can not afford to have credibly made to a large black audience.

The icing on the cake is that the ill educated Minaj easily substantively bested more than one well know lefty on tweeter. Which resulted in her being put in twitter jail, of course. Progressives shouldn't assume her fans, and other blacks, didn't notice that.

Experts say Nicki's cousin's balls have swollen almost to the size of Nicki's own balls.

"They're fucking yuge!" - A respected scientist who studies ball size at a prestigious university.

The WH should invite the guy with the swollen balls to come with Nicki to the WH. Nicki's cousin's ball should be unveiled at the WH. That's what America needs right now. We need to see those balls.

We know that due to polling. And given the development where I live, and the racial composition of my neighbors, I’d need more than my fingers and toes to count the black people I know. Hardcore Democrats may some day realize that when Nikki Minaj talks about marbles in asses and getting hit by buses, she’s just the tip of the iceberg. When a black Republican has a rotten egg thrown at him by a white female demonstrator insensitively wearing a black gorilla mask, there are people who notice. And many of them have the same skin color as Larry Elder.

Penalties for Failing to Comply with the Policy

If couples governed by the one-child policy have more than one child, they are fined “$370 to $12, 800,” an amount many times the average annual income of many Chinese (Hays). If the couple is unable to pay the fine, they may lose their jobs, their land and livestock confiscated, their home destroyed, their children denied the rights and benefits of the state, like education, or their child taken away.

The woman can also be forced to be sterilized (Hays). If a family planning official discovers that a woman is having an illegal pregnancy, meaning having a child without a birth permit, he or she can force the woman to have an abortion (Fitzpatrick). The Chinese government has ensured terrible consequences for failing to comply with the one-child policy.

However . . . Anecdote to follow.

A neighbor is a Chinese-born woman married to a New Zealander. In discussing families one day I asked about his wife, if she wasn't an only girl, if not an only child?

Far from it--she has two sisters. Her father was either well-connected or rich or both and was given several chances to get it right--it's still a very paternalistic Confucian place in some ways apparently.
