She will be overseeing the banks that she quite literally wants to destroy. The Democratic Party is pushing the envelope so far that I am now having trouble recognizing them as Americans.

I wonder if the "progressives" have decided to do in Pelosi and Biden? for some reason of their own. And the centrists don't want to spend all that money, aware it will be wasted like the train to nowhere. And the Republicans don't want anything to do with it all. Even with the internet it can be hard to discern what's going on in DC but it doesn't seem like normal calculations. It's more like a Kabul airport mess, just like the border. I just saw it happen to a frail lady struggling to get some coins from her purse. A gentleman signalled the cash register that he was paying for her. The QT counter is set up so that one register person can serve multiple costumers. The guy was a white man and the lady was a black woman.

Here's something new. Since Wednesday we've been getting a lot of calls on our landline, which we've had since we moved here in '06. They are calls from people returning our calls--calls which we have not made. It must be bad-- early this morning we had a voicemail from an irate woman laying us out for all the calls. I made about ten apologies yesterday, and most people have been nice when I explain.

My wife has been on the phone for the last hour with Xfinity trying to figure out what's going on.; 10/1/21, 10:34 AM

The reason Trump gave for defending Lewandowski in the first instance was "He's got a beautiful wife and children". I guess that's no longer the case.; 10/1/21, 3:49 PM
