Who would have imagined that in 2021, women would age into a similar look, not an old look, a more or less beautiful look, but a look-alike look? I'd say "Twilight Zone" imagined it, in "Number 12 Looks Just Like You."

I recognized Lewinsky instantly, but then I have seen photos of her taken in the last 5 years. Had I not seen such photos, I might have been puzzled for a while. She doesn't look anything like Melania Trump- that is a weird disturbing thing to ask.
The lady playing her in the miniseries looks nothing like the young Lewinsky. I also think Linda Tripp should have been played by Hillary Clinton.

Only a biological female could think Monica Lewinsky looks anything like Melania Trump. Mrs Trump is a stunningly beautiful woman who exudes elegance from every pore. Ms Lewinsky, not so much.

Neither particularly looks like the Monica Lewinsky of 1998.
The taller woman looks more like Monica in the face, but the shorter one--whose name I can't recall but was in a very funny movie a couple of years ago about two girls on graduation night from high school--has a physique more similar to Monica.
The Starr Report is the only federal document I ever read that caused me to laugh aloud. Bill Clinton should have been ridiculed into resigning by late night comics, long before being impeached. That he wasn't indicates an appalling lack of effort on the part of his opposition, and an appllingly amorality and lack of self-respect on his part. But then, he married Hillary, so we knew that already.
I, for one, expect this miniseries to be about as accurate as Stone's "JFK" or any of the movies made about the shootout at the OK Corral. In the future, some historian will make a career out of analyzing reality versus these artistic renderings of well-documented historic events. And the results will be hilarious.
Her eyes and smile stayed the same. Sure her clever surgeon nudged her face closer to Julia Louis Dreyfus’s than the (unknown) gal on the right. I’m not sure why someone would think that gal looks like Monica. Is it the fat? It’s not even the same shape Monica had when she was chubbier. The face is completely different.

To me, Melania looks uncomfortable — all stretched and re-angled from her younger self.
I got my Clinton era scandals mixed up and had Monica Lewinsky and Tonya Harding confused. My first thought was that Tonya had really cleaned herself up.

Let’s try to keep in mind that Bill Clinton was not impeached for having an affair; several Presidents had, or were suspected of having, affairs. FDR, Harding, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Ike while he was overseas, that’s just off the top of my head. He was impeached for felony perjury.

Monica looks like Monica. Of the pictures at the link, that's the worst one of her. The others look like they used a softness filter that removed the glare from the reflected light off the sweat I'm sure was caused by the industrial lighting, because global warming is only a crisis outside of the media entertainment industry.
I'm not seeing any association to Melania.

On first seeing the photo, I had no idea who the two women were, but I did ask myself, That's not Melania, is it? Can't be!
So I understand Althouse's question. Clicking through, I see the other pictures look much more like Monica. Beanie Feldstein (I'm not clicking again to check the spelling), only looks like Monica when she's heavily made up and wigged. Otherwise, Monica was never that chunky.
I do not think there is any resemblance to or desire by Monica to take on the persona of Melania Trump. That is not to disparage Melania in any way. I would kill to look like her. But it is just another TDS symptom that anything and everything we see and hear must be viewed through the lens of Trump hatred, even though he is gone from office and Melania has chosen to keep a low profile. (What choice does she have?)
Personally, I think Monica looks great and I hope that she is happy in her own skin. She deserves to be. The abuse that such a young woman had to endure in order to protect a flawed Democrat President was and still is inexcusable. And the role that so-called feminist Hillary Clinton played in Monica's debasement should never be forgotten.
As I age through my fifties I find myself attracted to older and somewhat softer female shapes. I figured it’s a natural progression related to our male need to protect the herd.
Hat's off to Monica! She thanks to her support group looks better now than she 22 years ago. Hat tip to women: men know about the alterations but we only care about is the outcome. Think of it sort of like buying a suit. Off the rack as is or getting it well altered? Howard must you always resort to the dumbest and trashiest comment you can make? The fact Howard thinks any transvestite or even transgender person could achieve becoming Melania says so much to explain your lack of perception in other subjects. For pete sake Howard you’re equidistant from Pal Springs and West Hollywood in freeway time. After a few dozen fakes you should be a little better at recognizing real women. There are no fun ways to learn economics so your perception in that and other areas will be more difficult to improve.

I'd say standard issue for the Hamptons after a visit to a a fancy hairdresser and the annual tune-up from the plastic surgeon. Not that the Hamptons isn't its own Twilight Zone.

Monica never really caught on with a profession- activist is not a career even if you’re paid. I can’t help but imagine if it weren’t for the blue dress she would somehow have managed to be in the middle of many of our biggest political dumpster fires.

For the record I think Melania’s LOOK is rather cold and haughty, but when she speaks I find her warm and engaging. The “model look” like the scientifically idealized “beauty” CGI has never been what does it for me. I mentioned Julia-Louise in my first comment for a reason.

Neither one looked like Monica Lewinsky to me but I still knew which she was because Monica oozed vitality back in the day and that's still what she's got. Brains - no, looks - not more than other good looking girls or women, ability - no, self-understanding - no. A wild vitality = yes.
I could tell Lewinsky from her eyes. She does look a bit like Melania Trump now. I wish them both well.

Monica and Melania have not had too much plastic surgery but are just at the edge of going too far. I guess it's like tattoos. You keep going back until you've gone back too many times.....I've never quite decided what to make of Monica. She got hit with a bean ball, but she thought she could handle major league pitching and leaned too far over the plate. It's kind of comical that she thought she could manipulate Bill Clinton
