Saw the Eagles last night in Omaha; 17k-20k in attendance. Omaha is the smallest city on the tour.
Don Henley is 75; looked and sounded great. Joe Walsh, Vince Gill and Glenn Frey's son Deacon played and sang.
Had to be vaxed to get in. Maybe 1% wearing masks. Average age of the crowd was about 60. Old hippies. One pot smoker.
Two fuckhead women, in the front and side of me, stood the entire time after intermission. I told them to sit down. They refused. Said everyone should stand. Incredibly fucking rude. I told her to "fuck off" and she said I wasn't her type. She couldn't pay me enough. Incels.
Otherwise, the concert was great. Hadn't heard "In the City" in ages.
Yay for doctors and blood test results. The nurse thinks I am an alien.
526 total cholesterol. 58 HDL. 434 LDL. Triglycerides were at 179 at 14 hours of fasting.
They want to put me on statins.
I will ask them to do an Nuclear Magnetic Resonance LipoProfile before they get all crazy. The chances I take a statin of any kind is 0. It wouldn't deal with the actual issue.
But there has to be evidence of oxidative stress on the LDL before a lifestyle change comes through. And since the two major sources of Oxidative stress on LDL are glucose and smoking I am willing to guess my oxidative stress is low.
I asked them to test Omega 3/6 ratios, estradiol, LH and several other useful biomarkers but they said their blood test was very "comprehensive." There is so much information out there and our medical system is operating at such an ignorant level.
