I think today we found out that either the Taliban intend to kick Joe Biden in the ass on the way out the door, or the Taliban really isn't in control of all their men. There were aspects to the recent press releases since Tuesday that makes me think the Taliban were, in fact, paid to let people through the gates until this weekend. Pundits like Erick Erickson were only sad that more Trump suporters weren't executed.

The Conclusion? All this concern about "Police Brutality" and "Excessive use of Force" its all bullshit. No one really cares. Its all about Politics. It only matter WHO is being killed and WHO is doing the killing. As Lenin said: Who/WHom. If the "Right people" are either doing the killing or the "wrong people" aka average white people are being killed its OK. And the Sheep will go along with it. However, in this case, I would have told both halves of this morbidly obese couple- GET THE DAMN SHOT! If you're that seriously obese, you're a fool not to.

Now me? Not obese, within normal weight range though a little on the high side, in reasonably good shape. And, I've had multiple, as defined by the CDC, close encounters with covid positive people- and haven't contracted it. Now, my employer wants me to mask up whenever I'm around my coworkers, no matter how short a time, because I'm one of those ignorant backwards people who hasn't been vaccinated. 11 people in my workgroup, all vaxxed except me. O a typical workday I see the one I'm relieving for <5 minutes as I come in, and 8 hours or so later, see the one relieving me for <5 minutes before I leave. If the vaccination works- why do I have to mask? That's the tell that no one in power actually believes the vaccination works reliably. And - I work at a hospital. Not in it. But at it. I never have any patient contact. If I have no symptoms, I'm not going to have a viral load large enough to transfer the virus to anyone. And, you now what studies from Israel are showing? Vaxxed individuals can carry a higher viral load of covid variants then unvaxxed with symptoms, so the vaxxed can spread the disease without having symptoms! BTW, this is exactly as predicted by the radical antivaxxers.

I would think at this point a large hospital system should be interested in finding out why some of us aren't getting it. Are we doing something different? Do we have immunity from a previous coronavirus infection? (That can, by the way, be measured) Or, are we just playing Russian Roulette and have been lucky to date? Unlike the couple mentioned above, I am doing proactive things to minimize infection progress should I get it.

My son- also unvaxxed- sent me this link: COVID-19 early treatment: real-time analysis of 867 studies, which covers both OTC supplements and prescription meds. I already take C, D, zinc, quercetin, and melatonin on the list. And one not on the list- NAC. Don't know why that one was left off. I could easily add curcumin.

Now in other treatment news- and if you're interested you can look it up yourself- it seems nasal sprays with nitric oxide kill off 95% of covid viruses in the nose. Only $209 for 3 bottles from ebay. I'll skip it at that price. And it seems xylitol spray Xlear brand, also helps. About $25 for a package of 3 from Amazon. I'll skip that too. Because- every morning I use my Navage to irrigate and rinse out my sinuses, with 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp baking soda, 1 tsp each xylitol and erythritol per pint of water. There youtube videos on how to bypass their salt pod system. Of- you can use the salt pods and add water with the xylitol and erythritol to the reservoir. Or you can use any of the other nasal irrigation systems that Amazon sells. (Buy through the Althouse portal). Each night I gargle and rinse my mouth out with the two alcohol sugars. Actually rinsing out the nasal passages is likely far more effective than using a nasal spray.; 8/27/21, 1:47 AM

Which is what quercetin does, though likely less effectively then a drug designed to do so. Now, if it's as effective as it seems - there's NO NEED for the experimental vaccine, no matter how much money is being made on it.
