Exactly. That's my point.
As for women not doing this... it's too much of a strength-based effort to expect women to help here. The people who can help know who they are and they help.
I'll bet there were women there who helped comfort people after they got off the death trap.

It takes strength to hold on though.
I suspect that 200 pound woman would not be that good at holding onto something and supporting her own weight.
