That is a very nice photo this morning! I both clicked through and embiggened but saw no others in the set.
The lines are just perfect! You took dull and made it really exciting.
The reeds and rushes are just so precise against both near and far shoreline and it’s a mass of symmetry with lines and planes all cooperating in rich detail and beauty.
Aside from the depth and clarity of the reeds in the foreground, I think the coolest little detail is the light spot in the clouds naturally extending the angle of the treeline down to the far shore.
It’s just a really cool photo that at first glance doesn’t appear to be much but after some study is full of all sorts of neat treats.
You can only work with what happens to be there. This one was a struggle. One thing about this project is that I'm documenting the mere fact of getting out there for the sunrise, so even the utterly dull ones matter to me and are grand in the sense of the overall project.
"Wow, this is just so great. It's now my desktop computer home & lock screen. I love it all, but I think it's the bluish overcast that really get it for me. Thank you."
