The second-oldest person in the world just survived covid 19.

"A 116-year-old French nun who is believed to be the world’s second-oldest person has survived COVID-19 and is looking forward to celebrating her 117th birthday on Thursday" (Fox32).
"She didn’t ask me about her health, but about her habits," David Tavella, the communications manager for the [nun's] care home.... "For example, she wanted to know if meal or bedtime schedules would change. She showed no fear of the disease. On the other hand, she was very concerned about the other residents."

Note to Dems. Make prayer mandatory. Prayer works.

I liked the old French lady Jeanne Calment who sold pencils to Van Gogh. When asked her view of the future she said "very short".

A nun that is 117 hasn't feared death for a very long time. If she is doing it right, shortly after entering the convent she got right with her God.

Thank GOD she wasn't in a New York Nursing Home!!!

TMZ reports Bruce Springsteen busted for DWI in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY - Bruce Springsteen is reportedly in the middle of a DWI case after he was busted in his home state, according to TMZ.

Springsteen was arrested on Nov. 14 at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, NJ, TMZ reported.

Springsteen was allegedly cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.

He'll have a court appearance coming in the next few weeks. Springsteen hasn't released any comment regarding his charges.

Recently, Springsteen starred in a Super Bowl ad calling on Americans to "reunite" and find unity after a divisive year.

An outspoken critic of Donald Trump, Springsteen appeared in the commercial saying, "There is a chapel in Kansas standing on the exact center of the lower 48. It never closes. All are more than welcome to come meet here in the middle. It’s no secret that the middle has been a hard place to get to lately between red and blue, between servant and citizen, between our freedom and our fear."

The singer’s calls for unity are in somewhat stark contrast to the language he was using prior to the election, offhandedly saying that he would have moved to Australia had Trump won a second term in office.

As a residence of New Jersey, I was hoping he was moving to Australia, then he could lecture them how to be as perfect as he is when it comes to unity...

I'm sure that the Pelosi-class rules will apply to the Boss, and the charges will be made to go away.

Bittersweet. Last June covid took John Glenn's wife, just after her 100th birthday. And that Tuskegee airman, 101 years old, was cut down last month due to covid.

Imagine what their lives could have been without that wretched virus.

Wow. Someone who is healthy to begin with, has good DNA , leads a chaste life of faith, peace and contemplation is able to survive the flu!!

Not news.

See the real message the MSM doesn't want you people to hear. Listen to Trucker Carlson and avoid the dangerous vaccine. Eat right and pray to Jesus and the covid be gone.

My 96 year old aunt survived it. Mild symptoms.

Exposure to the 1918 flu — or natural resistance to it — may be a plus.

So too prayer.

So too routine and moderation. She’s likely not swinging from the candelabras. Or maybe she swing from them the same time every day.

Aha! That crappy Jeep commercial was part of his Community Service! I knew it!

Likely so. Plus exposure to multitudes of other Coronoa Viruses and the common cold over decades of life, will build up resistance or even immunity.

"The common cold is a virally related syndrome and has been associated with over 100 different viruses, including Human Coronavirus and Rhinovirus" Bacterial infections as a side effect of the virus are more deadly than the actual virus.

Keeping everyone isolated is a mistake. We need to let more people get exposed to build the herd immunity. Young, healthy, people. Older healthy people.

Not already ancient, sick, or compromised people with underlying conditions, who are statistically more likely to die. But..ordinary people. Many of whom will get sick, mildly sick or even feel like crap for a couple of weeks....JUST LIKE VERY OTHER YEAR'S flu bug.

You cannot build "herd immunity" if you keep every damned cow in a separate pasture.

Keeping everyone isolated is a mistake. But then again. It really isn't about the flu or Cornoa virus.

This is ALL about control and seeing how far the powers that be can push the population into mindless obedience. So far...they seem to be doing a really good job with the next step seeing how many people will submit to anal probing and wearing not ONE but TWO masks at a time.

How far the government can go. How many people they can impoverish. How many businesses they can destroy. How easy it is to appear to be the saviours of the country, when they actually are the destroyers. Squeal loudly little sheeple.

It is going to be endless and constantly moving goal posts.

We talk a lot about the dwindling number of WWII vets, while this woman is old enough to actually have a son who fought in WWII.

I would estimate that now more than 50% of the people I know and interact with ( friends, neighbors, work, family) have been exposed and were positive with covid. Only one of those people are dealing with long term harm from it.

My thoughts on this Nun, God bless her, is that she will have survived it if she can go some time, maybe 6 months, without expiring from some type of pneumonia. The odds can’t be good even had she not contracted CV19.

116 years old you say? Living in France? How did she survive the Nazi occupation of France?
Did she aid the Nazis during their occupation of France? Asking for a secretary.

Not a site I normally link, nor rely upon. But this information is interesting if true. About dreaded covid vaccines.

http://voxday.blogspot.com/2021/02/two-shots-and-youre-out.html

At age 65 with 1 comorbidity, I'm still willing to take my chance with contracting the dreaded covid over the vaccine. But then, can I get it? I've had two children with it- isolating in my house, and didn't take any precautions. And didn't get it.

Strange that we are just hearing about Springsteen now when he was arrested in November.
Wife just tested positive for the rona yesterday. Only symptoms are mild congestion and loss of taste and smell. I'm getting tested tomorrow even though I have no symptoms.
We wear our masks when we go out which isn't often and have no idea where we could have picked up the virus. I'm thinking this whole mask thing is total bullshit along with all the lock down BS.

Doesn't do a damn thing. It's call luck/chance.

Nationally the number is about 9.7% per CDC.

Yep, absolutely. It's a virus, it's going to spread, that's what a virus does. Not by total random chance, not by total luck. You can't get it unless you're exposed to a carrier. That's random chance one. Whether or not you get it depends on how vulnerable you are. What's your Vitamin D blood level? Your zinc intake? General health overall? Are you overworked? Rundown? Not totally random factors- for you- you can control them. But totally random as far as virus spread goes.

The mask? It's theater, much as the TSA is theater. Few people wash their cloth masks daily. For the average wearer they increase viral and bacterial load in the body.

Jersey Fled said...

BTW most people grossly overestimate the number of people who have been infected and died.

I believe this is a consequence of the relentless coverage by the press.

My 80 year old father-in-law is in the hospital with Covid-19. I don't expect him to make it. The thing that irritates me is that he has worked in a retail setting serving customers for the entire past year and did not get the virus. He received the vaccine two weeks ago and ten days after getting the shot, he is deathly ill. He already had lung issues, having previously had lung surgery, so I knew if he caught it, the chances of him surviving would be slim.

Viability is correlated with co-morbidities correlated with age.

The HCQ cocktail is an effective early treatment.

The Ivermectin protocol has been clinically tested to realize even better outcomes from early to late stage disease progression.

Both are available, inexpensive, low-risk treatments that reduce hospitalization, help individuals, and normalize community immunity.

Jersey Fled said...

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum.

We got several vaccines that were both safe and effective. And in record time.

This upset the plans of those who planned to milk the crisis forever, or at least for a decade.

So they did everything they could to discredit the vaccines, along with any treatments that might prove to be effective.

We are all going to die.

Good night kids.'
