"As of 1:15 p.m. on January 22, The Washington Post has updated its website and URLs to restore the original version of the Kamala Harris profile detailed in Reason's post, below."

"'We should have kept both versions of the story on the Post's site (the original and updated one), rather than redirecting to the updated version,' Kris Coratti, the Post's vice president for communications, told Reason in a statement on Friday. 'We have now done that, and you will see the link to the original at the top of the updated version.' Rason has updated the headline of this story to reflect those changes. The rest of the story remains unaltered."

My favorite was BJ Harris's statement regarding Tara Reade's Biden accusation:

"I believe Biden's accusers."

But then again, I expect this kind of talking out of both sides of the mouth of Willie Brown's wet vac.

See, Stalin didn't have this problem. For now, at least, we can still check the record, and call progs on their BS.

Not that it makes much difference--see the historians vs. the 1619 project. And as the 1619 non-response shows, progs like their BS, and prefer not to make concessions just because it is BS.

This of course is not news and anyone who might possibly be impressed by it is only revealing his left-wing politics. WaPo and its ilk have been doing this for decades. Most egregiously so in the last four years of shitcanning positive things that Trump said/did.

Like GWB with the "Please don't kill me" "joke".

Except nobody suppressed that story.

They probably should have taken out the reference to Soul Cycle too.

Kamala's bougie ways aren't going to make the people love her.

In other news, The WaPo has indicated that the weekly choco-ration will be increasing from 2 ounces to 4 ounces per week.

Fix that perception? This suggests that the perception is incorrect.

This article also reminds me of a perception I've been getting, and would love to know if others sense it too: The media is really trying to make Maya happen.

Do they think having a sister humanizes Kamala? What is it?

If you've ever seen Chuck's wife, you might be more inclined to ask "who", not "why" Chucky is thinking about erections. When you're moving hotfoot from one cockpit and then home to another, it's difficult to keep it all straight.

Kamala Harris seems like an awful person to me, and clearly I am not alone in that sentiment. It's sort of sad that the WaPo feels the need to constantly run to her defense. Most politicians who achieve her level of success seem to at minimum have a somewhat charming personality. But, like Hillary Clinton before her, her success had nothing to do with personal charisma, warmth, or likability.

Half the fun of being California Attorney General is joking about the punishment you're visiting on those you throw in prison. See, e.g. Bill Goodyear, contemplating the prison rape of Ken Lay.

For some honest and informed analysis of important matters, might I suggest a trip to the last few posts at www.Martin-van-Creveld.com ?

Feminism (and backlashes thereto), and the new realities of geopolitics around the Russian core--of which neither Biden nor his crew demonstrate the least grasp--are the topics.

Short version: Putin ain't going anywhere and the West will have to recognize the realities in the Crimea and Ukraine in order to pull what emerges as future Russia into a more anti-Chinese stance.

As we all know, The Washington Post, like their big brother, The New York Times, is a hate-click bucket shop. I don't know why they felt the need to pretend it was a mistake. At this point, I doubt they're fooling anybody.

Some idiot in Congress complained about a National Guard Soldier not wearing a mask while drinking coffee in he Capitol so they moved them all out to the cold parking Garage.

Trump just offered to put them up in his hotel.

What a difference in attitude and respect for our soldiers.

Over the next 4 years they're going to have to dig a much bigger memory-hole.

The WP also discontinued the 'Trump lies' fact-check tracker and will not be initiating something similar for Biden.

Because, or course, Democrats never lie.

I think the public is finally seeing the media as what it is, a propaganda machine. Most people don't check alternative viewpoints so they assumed that what they were seeing was journalism and if the press was critical of Trump we were told the press was just doing its job.

But now more people are seeing the contrast with how Biden is being presented and his administration is being glorified by the mainstream media. It's kind of hard to miss.

Like the whole mask issue and how Biden wanted to set an example to the nation and also to impose a mask mandate. First day in office he declares everyone must be masked when on federal property, etc. Then later in the evening he visits the Lincoln Memorial and didn't wear a mask. Figures. When asked why the answer was it was his inauguration. IOW because he's Mr. Special. So shut up.

I think when Biden and his press secretary tell people with critical questions to "shut up" that isn't going to go over well.

Who's going to be Worse, at negotiating with foreign leaders?
Jo Biden? or Commie Law Harris?

foreign leader: You american's need to submit to our demands, or we'll do something bad!

A) Jo Biden says: "Huh? Wha? Who are you?"
B) Commie Law Harris say: "hahah! we'll stop you, if you do that hahaha! I'm serious!"

would there Ever be a worse poker player than Commie Law?
except, maybe for some guy wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 3 and 10?

This seems like wishful thinking. Most Americans don't pay any attention to politics.
They didn't watch the inauguration or any of the news about it. The ones that do pay attention already know the media are in the tank for Dems .
