This is actually not the slightest bit like moonlight through the pines.

I wonder how people in Georgia feel about having the whole country sucking up to them right now and if it pleases them to hear this one song aimed at them over and over. This is a song about a man remembering a lost love, a woman named Georgia. It's not about the state, though it has been the state song of Georgia since 1979. It's kind of weird to be singing about a state as if it were a woman you were longing for. It's weird to think of your state as a woman — though it has a woman's name, and it's not the only state with a woman's name — and weird to address your own state as if you wished you could get back there. You don't need a road leading back. You are there!

Every last thing, aside from the Frankfurt raid to capture the servers, that we suspected about Dominion Voting Systems has been confirmed, Mark. if anything, it's worse than we suspected.

Everyone knows most of the judges dismissing the cases are crooked and doing it purely on bullshit technical grounds.

Enjoy the fantasy that your side is getting away with this for the next few hours. I think tomorrow that fantasy will be a lot harder to hold on to.

Thank God the Broadway stars are weighing in.

To sensible people — and I concede we are in the distinct minority — it’s beyond absurd for someone with unrelated expertise to presume to comment on matters that by law do not concern them, and this hurts more than it helps.

Yes, I'm sure Georgians love that the same people who tried to create a worldwide boycott on the State of Georgia because the State is against free and easy abortions now want to shimmy up to Georgians and tell them, "Hey...you can trust us to look out for your own good. Give us all the power and we'll make the world better."

Screw all of them. I get nauseous just looking at any form of Lin-Manuel Miranda. The poster boy for self-aggrandizing, look at me taking a stand wonderfulness. To put the name Stacey Abrams in the same sentence as the words 'fair' and 'election' is an abuse of the language.

These are the same people that decided to lecture Vice President Pence- a very mild and Christian man- when he went to see these people on Broadway. They halted the show, pointed him out and lectured him. THEY lectured him. These people are cretins. Aside from journalists- there is no group so despised as Hollywood, Broadway, and those preeners in between. They no nothing of Georgia or Georgians. They don't like the South. To them it's still 1856. They don't know the people in the South- not at all.

More than ever, this Senate race needs to be a clear message to the nation. There cannot be a one-party rule in Washington. Not with the Biden Crime Family on top. Not with any of them.

Mark are you aware, or care, that no judicial hearing has ruled on the mountain of evidence presented? All Judges have used some variation of, manufactured technicality, or, yes fraud is present, but not enough to change outcomes, or, Fraud looks massive but remedy sought is untenable.

Everyone admits fraud happened.

If the Democrats cheat why are they trying so hard with persuasive techniques and spending tons of money?

It's easier for losers to think that the winners are stealing the elections rather than out hustling, out working, out persuading lazy non-participatory kibitzers who have failed to get out and do the work where the rubber meets the road to help their candidates win.

Claiming victim status means you don't have to change your non-behavior, the negative space, eg the path not taken.

I used to wonder: are there actual people who's opinions or actions regarding Covid/elections would/could be changed by input from Miranda/his ilk or other like substitutes? What cogency do entertainers offer in pandemic prep and voting patterns?
Then I remember that although he certainly didn't receive 80mm votes, Biden sure as hell did receive 10's of millions.

Two depressing thoughts in one story.

Qwinn said...

Yes, Howard, all that heavy lifting Biden did campaigning as hard as Trump in dozens of states to persuade people to vote for him is sure confirmation that they didn't think they had it in the bag via cheating. Candidates always call a lid on campaigning 5 out of 7 days a week when they know persuasion is paramount to their chances.

Qwinn said...

As for "spending tons of money" (including Zuckerberg spending half a billion dollars of private money on a public election, which got far left voting groups complete access to edit the voter rolls with no oversight), no one ever claimed stealing a national election was done on the cheap.

Howard said...

Biden and Harris didn't do shit. Democrats are much better at assembling grassroots ground teams all over the country. Actual ordinary people organize and become active and then you try to criticize them by calling them activists. Attending a trump rally doesn't really do much except for create a spectacle it's like participating in a massive TV ad.

Lovernios said...

A more fitting song would be "Midnight Train to Georgia". Gladys Knight and the Pips. After all, there was some noise about packing up and moving to Georgia to vote for the Dem candidates.

And I think it's a better song, too.

Lovernios said...

You're right, Howard. Joe himself bragged about having the biggest voter fraud team in history.

Robert Marshall said...

The genius editor of this dreck accompanied the song line "moonlight through the pines" with a daylight shot of a road bordered by moss-draped oak trees that, more likely than not, lead up to an ante-bellum plantation house. I guess all trees look alike.

The two dems on the ballot are a Rev. Wright re-tread, and a preppy little twit who attended the same woke prep school two of my kids did. Inspirational!

The flood of money into our state has made me long for non-political TV ads, like Flo for the insurance company, or the Gecko. I'm wearing out my mute button, in an effort to avoid hurling something through the flat screen.

Qwinn said...

Howard: Be specific, what is it you're pointing out that is actually inconsistent with massive fraud? Because Biden and Harris not doing shit is completely and only consistent with massive fraud.

Lots of money spent is perfectly consistent (in fact required) with massive fraud.

Tons of activists scouring the countryside (opening mailboxes of people with Trump signs and taking their ballots?) is perfectly consistent (in fact required) with massive fraud.

You're actually attempting to take signs that make your side look awful and presenting it as supporting you. It's a seriously pathetic psyop.

Latest McLaughlin poll:

Among all voters, more believe voter fraud occurred than not, 46-45.

I am sure these numbers were balanced by party identification based on the most recent election, which included massive voter fraud.

Imagine what those numbers would be if not for social and mainstream media's 24 hour a day psyop and censorship campaign to bury any and every piece of evidence 9f the fraud.

I enjoyed living in Atlanta back the late 1980s and wish all Georgians well in the upcoming election. Of course, the winner will be determined by the organization garnering the most mail in ballots, by hook or by crook, by harvest or by fraud, so the electioneering doesn't really count.

And after hearing Ray Charles sing "Georgia On My Mind" for PBS signoffs so many nights, this group version is an abomination.

Sebastian said...

Are they trying to get Georgians to vote for Orsoff, like Joe said?

Birches said...

Ehh, it's not so bad here. Aside from the giant pile of mailers that get chucked everyday, I'm not paying attention. We don't watch broadcast TV and the Christmas radio station gives us a warning before the election ads come on.

I will vote, and I expect the Dems are wasting a giant pile of money on this election. Who really wants to vote for a loser like Ossoff? And yes, I don't think Stacey Abrams will be able to illegally harvest as many ballots as she did in November. No one really believes Biden won Georgia fair and square.

Do you know the word 'carpetbagger'?

And these are the same people who hoovered up Georgia tax credits for movies, then threatened to shut down their productions if the legislature of the state didn't conform to their preferences on when a woman could get an abortion. Yes, we've seen them before.

RNB said...

More egregious are the tech millionaires threatening to move into Georgia, establish 'residency' so they can vote for Osoff and Warnock, then move out (because who would ever want to live in -- *shudder* -- Jor-Ja?)

This election is an occasion for the people of Georgia to express their preference as to who will represent them in the U.S. Senate. For Democrats, though, it is just another arbitrary procedure to be gamed in pursuit of their single guiding principle: More power for the Democrat Party.

Eighty-six judges have ruled against Trump-sponsored claims of tainted voting, some more than once. Multiple recounts of tallied election votes have uncovered no fraud in the states that extreme Republicans have attacked. Only Georgia elections were run by Republicans and honest Peach State office holders have refused illegal pressure from the president and Senator Linsey Graham. Threats of harm to state officials from Trump-approved extremists have been common in all these states.

No recounts occurred in states such as Texas where the computer voting systems used prevent ballot recounts - but the suspected felon who is the Texas AG was permitted to file at the same time the Texas Solicitor General refused to participate.

But not to worry. Senator Mitch McConnell has sounded the alarm. Majority Leader McConnell (R-Ky.) has now suggested on a private conference call with GOP senators that "Kelly and David are getting hammered" in the Georgia runoff where the two Georgia Republican senators are directly associated with Republican failure to pass a new economic rescue bill.
