"What do you do when the masses of minks that you hastily killed and buried because of covid-19 fears start rising up from the grave?..."

"The government had admitted that at least some of the minks killed improperly were also buried improperly. Two gravesites in Jutland, Denmark’s northern region and the home to most of its mink farm industry, have become points of concerns over risks that the decomposing animals could affect nearby water. Some dead minks have surfaced because the top soil above them was not heavy enough. The Danish press dubbed them 'Zombiemink.'... On Thursday, the Danish prime minister [Mette Frederikson] visited mink breeder Peter Hindbo at his now-empty mink farm near the city of Kolding. As she spoke to reporters at the farm, her voice wavered, and she fought back tears as she described the impact she had seen. Frederiksen said that the family of mink farmers had 'their life’s work shattered' in a very short period of time. 'It has been emotional for them, and … Sorry. It has for me too,' she told reporters."

Bad choice. The Guardian is perplexed... the tell-tale hearts beat ever louder.

You say, "Effing 2020, man!" (Followed by "Th-th-th-that's all folks...!")

Would be fun if it happened in Minsk...

Minsk Minks Meat.

Did they really have to kill them all?

If a COVID-19 test has a false-positive rate of 1% (one percent), and if a population of one million minks has absolutely no COVID-19, then the test will find that 10,000 minks have COVID-19.

In a population of five million minks, the test will find that 50,000 of them have COVID-19.

Good news!
We won't have to worry about Taiwan if Biden is inaugurated.
Communist China will make sure Taiwan's future is boring.

Xi's for Boring.

Speaking of COVID, apparently Johns Hopkins posted [and then deleted, or someone else did] an article showing that the number of deaths caused by COVID in 2020 were offset by a decrease in the number of deaths from other causes, e.g., heart attacks, strokes, cancer, etc. The original article is still findable. Gee, you don't think that people who died from the usual diseases were being counted as COVID, deaths, do you? /sarc

mockturtle,
Of course Johns Hopkins removed the analysis.
Democraticals have narratives.
Those are better than truth.

It's really cruel to keep those active intelligent animals in little cages for their entire lives.

I thought they'd decided against the slaughter.
Who were the animals going to infect besides each other?

I will not read any article that says “minks!” It’s one mink or 50 mink is the plural. If they can’t get that right what else can’t they get right?

It's back: A closer look at U.S. deaths due to COVID-19

Editor’s Note: After The News-Letter published this article on Nov. 22, it was brought to our attention that our coverage of Genevieve Briand’s presentation “COVID-19 Deaths: A Look at U.S. Data” has been used to support dangerous inaccuracies that minimize the impact of the pandemic.

We decided on Nov. 26 to retract this article to stop the spread of misinformation, as we noted on social media. However, it is our responsibility as journalists to provide a historical record. We have chosen to take down the article from our website, but it is available here as a PDF.

Separately: Government Lies Exposed By... Government

Preliminary, but, apparently, there has been no dislocation in government benefits paid out. Perhaps Planned Parent was a Choice to remove deplorable Americans, to be replaced with viable alien Democrat voters.

Do you feel the same way about deers?

What about commonly mispelled words?

Dead mink in the middle of the road, and it’s stinkin to high heaven.

n.n. This excerpt is telling: "Briand’s study should not be used exclusively in understanding the impact of COVID-19, but should be taken in context with the countless other data published by Hopkins, the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)." [my ephasis]

But those other publications weren't retracted, were they?! Therein lies the difference and therein lies the lie.

The mink slaughter strikes me as the single stupidest act during this pandemic.

They simply should have made the minks wear masks.

Dead mink stinkin' in the dead of night
Your infected lungs still gave you breath
In the end
It was not a virus bringing on your needless death

The Danes have a history of the dead reappearing from the grave to accuse their murderers. I think Shakespeare wrote a play about it.

Your amazing leap from dead minks in the EU to Taiwanese debates over maintaining their economic independence from the mainland deserves further exploration of the latter.

When Taiwan gets taken by the mainland, under the US Presidency of Dementia Joe, I am willing to house at least one Taiwanese refugee family in my home.

I'd rather defend Taiwan against China than Ukraine against Russia.

"Fish and pig guts fly in Taiwan's Parliament"

I call this a "vibrant democracy". Would much prefer it to the vapid, stupid, and meaningless sound bites that are the only things flying in the Capitol of the United States of America.
