If he doesn't win, it won't be because he didn't try hard enough.

"President Donald Trump is spending one of the last days before Election Day engaged in a five-rally blowout across several key states where he is either trailing Joe Biden or running narrowly ahead. After visiting Michigan, Trump will travel to Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida for events there later Sunday. Meanwhile, Biden is holding a pair of events in Philadelphia" (NBC News).

So Biden is traveling about 30 miles from home to give 2 events, while Trump is traveling something like 3,000 miles and doing 5 events in 5 states.

After 4 years of relentless negative coverage, false allegations leveled by actual media personalities, Bs lies about Russia - (where even Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian agent - according to these liars) from the hack-D press - it's any wonder Trump is still alive.
All the lies about Trump, the reality bending BS where facts about Biden and hidden and turned into Trump crimes. Biden is in fact a liar, an international grifter and a DC swamp creature mob player. The media hide it all. Now Biden is hiding behind Obama. Tells us all we need to know about Obama.

The left would have assassinated Trump by now if they could have.
Smearing him with lies for 4 years will have to do.

The contrast between the two conadidates in terms of dedication and overall energy is pretty severe. Say what you will about Trump, but he certainly seems to have more energy than most people half his age. And his the crowds at his rallys compared to Bidens. The general sense of optimism at Trump's events compared to the air of gloom, fear, and smallness that seem to permeate Biden's car only rallys, it seems like two Americas.

I was living in a (different) toss-up state in 2008 and remember being impressed at how many attended a rally with Sarah Palin, that was held near where I was living. I had seen lots and lots of Obama/Biden signs, in parts of the state I thought would have been more likely to be McCain/Palin voters, but the big rally made me think McCain had more of a chance than he actually did, since he lost that state and the election.

Rallies, signs, ads, polls. All of it matters but none of it counts, only the votes do. I early voted yesterday and I can't say I had any idea about who in line was voting for which candidate, other than a guy, probably in his early 30s, who came up and told one of the "attendants" that he'd never voted before but he was there to do it now and wanted to know what he was supposed to do.

A huge interest in voting is a really good thing, so kudos to Trump and Biden for that.

To me, it looks like Biden is playing “not to lose”. In football parlance, this is called the Prevent Defense. Then again, Biden has been playing a lot of Prevent Defense since he locked up the nomination by staying at home or mostly along the east coast. Going to Philadelphia for both events is a head scratcher. He has Philly locked up, assuming they keep generating 100% of the votes in some precincts in recent presidential contests (I have my doubts that happened, but I digress). Hell, the Democrats could put up a rock on the ballot in some Philly districts and the rock would win in a landslide...

Even for you that is stupid. Then again you must be confusing China Joe for Trump. Trump gets 57,000 people to show up to his rally in Butler PA. Joe barely can get a crowd in Philadelphia. Philadelphia. The city of 120% voter turnout for Democrats.

Biden is 78 and has the energy level of an 87 year old ( and not including his dementia). Trump is 74 years old and has the energy and work capacity of a 37 year old. Trump has more energy now than Obama had in 2008.

Sally--
Agree that the plural of anecdote isn't data.

But what I'm seeing in the early votes (the votes that Biden is supposed to win by 80%) is a low-single digit to 9% consistent underperformance in majority-minority districts that any democrat HAS to win to take the swing state.

I'm seeing underperformance in:
NV- the heaviest democrat-majority district is underperforming by several thousand votes.
WI- District #4, Milwaukee north side (mostly black, 85%+ Democrat), running well below the rest of the state, including the neighboring district (south side of Milwaukee - think not just white working class, but Archie Bunker whites), Kenosha (riots?), Racine and Beloit (white working class).
MI--Rancida Taliban's Michigan district (slightly underperforming but again, Joe doesn't have votes to give away compared to Hilary's loss).
PA--Norf Philly running 9 percentage points behind in returned ballots relative to rest of state.

Remember, Biden has to win not 1/3, not 2/3, but 3/3 WI, MI, PA to win the election.

Never mind Florida, I can't see Biden coming back from his underperfomance in Miami. North Carolina is done, for Trump.
If there's any state Biden can flip is AZ, but if he flips AZ, he's winning 3/3 on the upper Midwest I'd bet, although he could still lose if Trump takes 2/3.

At this rate, Biden will be lucky not to lose NV, and he still has an outside chance of losing MN.

Google is so entrenched they know there's no other competitor and Twitter, well, Twitter is around until Trump decides to post on Parler.

After informing us earlier this year that aggressive fundraising by the Trump campaign was a sign of "desperation", readering now intimates politicians delivering canned speeches peppered with other up to the minute additions is somehow unique to Trump making it easier for him to deliver his presentations!

And yes, without having "POTUS travel arrangements", it was literally IMPOSSIBLE for Biden to add a 3rd car stop within his little 30 mile maximum travel radius.

I mean, without an entire POTUS staff its impossible to find a parking lot or open field where you can make enough room for 25 to 50 cars in all of Eastern PA......right?

Poor readering. What a complete dope...and making Li'l stevie uhr and even the moron gadfly look better by the minute.

I read somewhere that high turnout is bad for Trump, because it means that the pollsters' models are OK. Here in my little corner of NC, turnout for early voting has been very high. So are people turning out in great numbers to vote for Biden? Seems hard to believe -- if Biden won't leave his basement except to give a Zoom talk in an empty gym or parking lot, why should people stand in line for hours to vote for him? I figure Trump is driving the voting numbers -- but I don't know if he's driving votes for him or against him. Win or lose, this is Trump's election. Hope the Repubs are geared up to vet those mailed-in ballots.

BTW, do you remember the "butterfly ballot" kerfuffle in the Bush-Gore election? The Democrat-controlled election officials in Palm Beach County designed a ballot that (unintentionlly) led some folks who intended to vote for Gore to mark their ballots for Buchanan (3d party), which helped swing Florida to Bush. At Bush's innauguration, there was a guy standing on the sidewalk as the parade went by with a big sign reading "Another Elderly Jew For Buchanan". Pretty funny.

If a candidate runs for office and nobody hears him, can he win?

It really is just an up or down vote on Trump. The other guy is a potted plant in the closet.

Accomplishing one good that's the best in history (or decades) is damned impressive for anybody in any field, especially when deemed impossible by the experts:

*Most Americans working ever
*No new wars (First president since the early 70's)
*Lowest unemployment for Blacks
*Lowest unemployment for Hispanics
*Lowest unemployment for Women
*Lowest unemployment for Asians
*Lowest unemployment for your group, whoever it is
*Most peace agreements in the middle east
* Greatest increase in GDP in history and during a pandemic, no less
There are many more, some even more significant.

And a few random accomplishments:
*Defeat of Isis
*Containment of Iran
*Reversing the out of control regulations on Americans that involve thousands of new laws every year telling us what we cannot do in ever tiny detail of our lives.
*Cutting taxes for 85% of middle class Americans.

And none of those are the most significant accomplishments of his first term.

1) Exposing the anti-freedom rot of our institutions, especially the media, and the Democratic party.
2) Standing up to China and the rest of the bad actors in the world that treat the American tax payers as chumps because our politicians want reelection and or personal legacy at any cost.

To vote wrongly on this choice or to think it not worthy of a vote is a declaration of stupidity, unseriousness, or cowardice. There are not too many opportunities in life to make such a statement about who you are as an American and a human being, even if only to yourself, but this is one of them.

1) WA state, so immaterial to election
2) More importantly, were any of these non-voters or Trump voters in 2016? No. All Hilary voters. Not costing Trump anything no matter how much they hate him.

I still haven't found a single, bona fide Trump voter from 2016 who's voting Biden. I've talked to a few Gary Johnson voters who are now voting Trump. Now it's true I also haven't talked to any Hilary voters who are voting Trump.

"How can we join in" I asked mate. "We have no pickup, no Trump flags, can we just merge in?" I wondered. He said "Just hang in - keep up - follow the guy in front of us with like 3 flags". We spent aver an hour circling the downtown with other Trump voters we never see in our lives.

We then had a discussion of how we can buy a Trump flag this late in the game and - as we live downtown Madison - will we ever be able to wave it without being cancelled (and we actually FEAR we would lose our jobs - not funny - but very true in this area). He knows I would fly a Trump flag on our block downtown that literally has 11 Biden/Harris and Pocan signs dutifully posted on their lawns. He knows we'd lose our jobs with a Trump sign or a flag on our lawn in downtown Madison WI.As academics, we are absolutely certain of this. I'm so glad he keeps me in check (or I may not be employed LOL)

So we kept with the Trump car parade honking our horn way more than many of the out of towners in their impeccably washed pickup trucks overloaded with Trump and We Support The Blue flags.

We came home and I immediately went online to find out to buy a Trump Flag - for posterity, To tell our kids and grandkids - "We were with him".

Sad I wont ever be able to wave such a thing in downtown Madison Wi.

Why we are moving BTW. Tired of the #BLM monopoly taking over our city.

Good way to get some lynchings. Still don’t know though why he never put one of his people in there as USA. Preet Baharra, and before him, Loretta Lynch, were perfectly loyal Obama acolytes. Heck, the former put fellow Indian-American Dnish D’Souza in prison for five months for making a movie critical of his boss.
