"Biden offers a rest period" - LOL! Biden says he’s got a "mandate" to do what the left wants to do on climate change and systemic racism. Really, the Democrats lost in the House of Representatives some 10 odd seats and this numbskull claims a "Mandate". If Biden goes on to win the election we'll see how he governs with fewer Dems available to back his play.

The Benford analysis, if it is based on actual documented vote totals would be pretty powerful support for fraud, especially so if it applied over a large coverage of votes. If it is just a few wards and districts, then the numbers won't be large enough to really matter. Benford analysis is statistically valid analysis- it is easy to use to it where humans make up numbers rather than just record them from authentic data.

That is Trumps' legal teams task- prove the fraud, and prove it was large enough to change the result enough states to change the outcome. This is going to be a large hurdle to get over, in my opinion, unless they were prepared from the start to catch the fraud while it was being committed. Now, perhaps, they were prepared to do that- it isn't like they weren't warned by multiple people, but my view of human organizations is that they rarely make effective plans of the sort that would be necessary to meed that hurdle I mentioned above.

Mostly what the Republicans probably did to plan for the fraud was to make sure they had pollwatchers in all the counting and vote transportation areas, which, of course, weren't effective- seriously, Chuck used to be a poll watcher for the Republican Party- that should tell you everything you need to know about pollwatching abilities of Republicans.

In order- this is what Trump has to accomplish to win this:

(1) Overtake Biden in AZ.
(2) Win Georgia on the recount.
(3) Get enough late ballots thrown out in PA to overcome Biden's growing margin.
(4) If he fails on any of the first three, then he needs to find enough fraud to overturn Michigan's result.
(5) If he fails on (1) and (2), then he needs also overturn the Wisconsin result.
(6) If he wins the election by fulfilling the necessary combinations of 1-5, then he needs to play Powerball ASAP.

I thought it a bit strange they rolled over on ACB. Told the shriekers to stay away, didn't engage in any of the congressional hijinx they threatened. Now it makes sense- they know they had the election. They'd Belichicked the vote harvesting and their minions in the right places. I think they were genuinely surprised they didn't sweep the Senate and lost House seats. Did they forget to add the down ballot races to the fix? Maybe...

They didn't have time to train Joe on new talking points, so mandate it is! Potato salad!

The first thing he needs to do is to point out that after the GOP poll watchers were kicked out everything after that is assumed to be fraudulent.

That is called spoliation. Once a person or group accused of fraud and they hide or destroy evidence everything is assumed to be fraudulent at that point.

The burden of proof is on Democrats in those states that kicked poll watcher out.

I read that Trump didn't even have a legal team in place. Everyone thought Jared was on it but no.

It's just Giuiliani and assoc I guess.

Ann: I truly appreciate the time u spend talking to us via podcast/ it frees my being so I can multitask(laundry/dishes/windows).
Thank u very much.
And so nice to hear the voice of a blogger I’ve been reading for yrs, yet never once commented on.
Your blog is the one who’s comments I read- and love to read, I really do.
I comment now b/c - I farm(dairy) and we have a blue heeler and I guess I just wanted to shout out to the Trumpies- not “ists” as I don’t much care for the term particularly- to hang in there.
Also, often being accused of “overthinking “ everything... I need to say thank u to u all who feed my thoughts.

Thank you.

Keep the Faith.

Maybe it's just me but if I were in Trump's position, I'd deal with things as privately as possible until all the parts are in place to proceed.

Attonasi,

Sure, but the GOP needs to present unequivocal evidence their watchers were kicked out. Maybe they can do this. On its face, kicking anyone out does indicate to me that something was afoot. If you aren't cheating, you shouldn't care who is watching you or recording it.

The sort of reform that is needed here is this-

(1) all counting occurs in rooms with public webcams that cover every square inch of space in 4K quality. If the webcam goes down for any reason, the counting stops and doors are locked;

(2) make it a federal crime to kick an official poll watcher out of any station;

(3) all counts should be hand counts, I am coming to believe (and if you do go to machine counts, then if there is a complaint from anyone, I don't a shit if it is completely baseless, then you count by hand, where each set of counters must be from opposite parties- literally must be- no more of this shit were alledgedly "honest public officials" do the counting and tabulation- I have had enough of this pretend naivete;

(4) all ballot transfers and handling of any kind must be signed off on by representatives of all parties with ballot representation, especially the two biggest parties in any jurisdiction;

(5) the number of ballots to be counted should be posted before any counting starts- if this requires that counting not start the evening of election day, then with me- they can spend that day just counting the voted ballots themselves, and assigning this as to type- in-person early, in-person election day, and absentee/mail-in vote divided by day of arrival, not this postmark shit that can faked by by cheaters; the most annoying thing about our elections is that no one seems to be able to answer one fucking simple and important question- how many fucking ballots do you have left to count? Georgia, for example, gave a solid number for 3 fucking days that kept growing with no explanation given, and then they finally just said "unknown" once Biden had the lead. Pennsylvania is doing the exact same shit, and I suspect North Carolina is in the process of doing the same thing while no one is watching them;

Of course, this all the reforms we need, but these are the ones need pertaining to counting the ballots. I willing to do a week of counting by hand everywhere as long as it is completely and utterly transparent with chain-of-custody followed strictly, and we know exactly how many ballots we are counting before we fucking start counting. This black box counting shit must stop- if it doesn't, no is going to trust the results, and a civil war will begin.

Yancey Ward said...

Also, (6)- no fucking counting in the middle of the fucking night when no one is watching your ass.

If you want a result by midnight election day, then fucking change to a system where it is possible to get a result by midnight on election day. Maybe that just means you stop voting a week before election day, and election day just become "Winners Announced Day". I don't care as long as the count and ballot handling is done in a way that all parties involved can trust.

One of the great missed opportunities in 2016 was the recounts of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. While I was completely happy Trump won in 2016, I did look forward to a thorough recanvess and recount of all three states- it was a pity that Wisconsin just did a perfunctory machine recount, and Michigan and Pennsylvania both bailed out after thinking it through for a day. I have always suspected that the reason Clinton herself didn't ask for it was that they knew that certain jurisdicitions in all three states would have difficulty answering certain questions were someone to look too closely at what they had done in that election- in short, Clinton never requested because she knew she would lose a lot votes were it done. No reason to open that can of worms if you know you can't fish with them.

Hats off the Democrats – they played to win with everything they had and came out ahead.

It was astonishingly close even with the playing field advantages they enjoyed including:
1) Money (Biden was the highest spending presidential campaign ever.),
2) COVID radically upending all our lives (gift to the left Jane Fonda noted),
3) Polls
4) The usually media and cultural tailwinds that favor Democrats in every election I can recall.
5) And last but not least big tech’s willingness to step out from behind the curtain and overtly help Biden in the final stretch.

Biden and Harris want healing now. This is standard post-election American rhetoric, which doesn’t make it wrong or bad either, it’s just I don’t remember them doing anything to heal us for the least 4 years when they needed the energy created by not healing.

Part of national healing needs to be election integrity above all else.

I believe there are Democrats or people with Democrat leanings on this board who try to be fair minded and control their biases, so let me ask you this -

If the shoe was on the other foot, and after the polls closed - Trump overcame significant Biden leads to win exactly what he needed with “too good to be true” historic voting from cities controlled by Republicans. Cities where fraud has occurred before, and this year due to changes to voting - opportunity and motive collided in a way they have never before.
Would Democrats not question this at all or would they concede gracefully for the good of the country?

I've had it with these dishonest, short-sighted, seditious cocksuckers... this game of ridiculous polls in favor of Biden for months in an effort to suppress and dispirit R voters. If I hear any acquaintance, stranger or member of extended family crowing about the results of this election, I'm afraid I'll have to tell them exactly how I feel about it and them for their giddy gullibility.

The homesteading part is very interesting. First time I realized that much of the third world is actually homesteading when I thought they were just living in poverty on subsistence plots.
