Dan Crenshaw Says ‘Well-Coordinated’ Riots Are Designed To Hold Americans ‘Hostage Until You Give Them Power’

Crenshaw says: “I think fundamental what we’re seeing is a hostage crisis. You have a lot of violent left-wing mobs, Antifa mobs saying that if you don’t give us power, if you don’t give our political wing, the Democratic Party, power we’re gonna keep terrorizing your cities.”

"Antifa’s goal is “not only to abolish the criminal justice system,” journalist Andy Ngo said at the Senate hearing, “it is to bring down the republic itself.” Is that the Democrats’ objective..."

Democrats will never condemn the violence they support. They support antifa brownshirt terror.

Prof. Turley is a national treasure. He's an honest liberal, not a leftist. He's a gazillion times more honorable and intelligent than Prof. Larry Tribe.

Turley and Althouse should post a video, holding hands, to declare that the Democrat Party lies so much about important political and legal matters, that they feel compelled as scholarly lawyers to vote for Trump this election.

That'll cause a nice fuss in the law school faculty lounges (via zoom) across the good 'ole USA.

CNN is a joke.

Meanwhile, wealthy ivory tower leftwing rich rich rich rich Hollywooders, who own multiple mansions all over the planet and live pampered spoiled lies behind walls, want to ban Fox news.

Althouse please set up a poll on how CNN would describe a turd in the milk tank.

Oh, it was fiery alright.

Months of fiery protest, no problem.

The inevitable reaction (kid that killed two people), end of the world.

Not saying I condone him. Just that it was inevitable. And there is going to be more if this shit doesn't settle down.

Very few members of a vigilante lynch mob ever EVER touch either the accused, or the rope. It's a mostly justice-oriented group.

Very very few Nazis ever even visited a Jewish work camp or gassed any individual Jew. It was a mostly peaceful, labor-oriented, Holocaust.

Very few Klansmen ever set fire to a cross in anybody's lawn.

Very few Pinkerton security men ever shot a laborer on strike and walking a picket line.

How does this proportionality thing work, anyhow?

They're going to keep terrorizing their cities. Which will convince people not in those cities to vote against the Democrats but otherwise not give a fuck. I'm with Crack. Let The Blue City Burn.

Turley better watch out or he will be ex-communicated from the church of Liberalism. I don't know a liberal that doesn't think CNN or MSNBC hasn't become a partisan joke. It's that bad.

I think these protests started as 'mobs' many years ago...maybe during the rise of Occupy Wall Street.

But I firmly believe that these previously grass roots protests have been weaponized, organized, and funded.

This is where a competent FBI should have no trouble 'following the money' and start putting people away with life sentences.

This shouldn't be difficult.

"Violence is when an agent of the state kneels on a man's neck until all of the life is leached out of his body. Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence. To use the same language to describe those two things is not moral" -
@nhannahjones This is the view of a reporter from the New York Times. And she won a Pulitzer prize.

The article by Turley that you link to is critical of CNN because it removed the word "violent" from a video of burning buildings.

But CNN, by removing the word "violence" from the graphic describing "events" where buildings and businesses were being burned to the ground was the only moral thing to do.

If everyone could just get on the same moral page, these videos of burning city blocks would cease to be so disturbing.

Right. Looting and arson are just "fiery" protests "intensifying."

But the point is not that the prog MSM misrepresent reality. It is that they want the destruction. They are on board. It is their cause.

Reporter: “Ignore what your lyin’ eyes are seeing behind me!” I have always wondered how the Germans could accept what Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda machine was putting out starting with how the war was going for them beginning in December 1941 after the Russians pushed the Germans back from Moscow & most definitely after Stalingrad to the very end of the war. They could see how their cities were systematically being destroyed from the air, the food, dry goods, & fuel shortages they were experiencing, their loved ones coming home maimed, in body bags, or not at all. Even as the Allies were closing the vise in 1944, Goebbels was proclaiming that the Germans had the Allies just where they wanted them and that victory was around the corner. Goebbels said “If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.“. I see that happening today with the MSM and the Democrats. Prime examples are the Michael Brown shooting in 2014 (that Eric Holder had to grudgingly admit was justified after continuously wanting to hang the cop out to dry for a very long time in the name of racial politics) and now with the “peaceful protests” in cities all over the U.S. that are in reality riots with looting, wanton destruction, and some deaths. I now know what the Germans experienced with their media as many of my liberal friends and relatives keep repeating that these are peaceful protests that escalate to destruction because of evil police & Trump. WTF???!!!

Last night when this first popped up no one believed it. Everyone thought it was a Photoshop.

The “tell” here is the very dispersed geography over which this is occurring in the US, along with a very extensive logistics train, including hotels, medical care, the “get out of jail” no need for bail cards that magically occurred, the corrupt no-prosecute local DA’s elected in the last couple of cycle.

I think you’re absolutely right. This is being funded and set in motion, if not truly “directed” from afar. I hope we can eventually roll this network up.

Two points. This would be under the jurisdiction of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, brother to the Counterintelligence Division that so blatantly lied to Congress and spied on Trump, his campaign, transition, and early Administration.

On the flip side, our government has gotten very good at rolling up terrorist networks over the almost 19 years since 9/11/01. How else were they able to stage the executions by drones we have seen over the last several years? They have to anticipate where their targets are going to be, and have a drone there waiting. That requires superb signals intelligence. Awhile back, Q dropped a transcript of the top FBI brass putting together the Mueller SC investigation, the night before they pulled the trigger. They were trying hard to hide their planning, by using a temporary chat stream on a Star Wars site, pseudonyms, etc. I think that one of the reasons behind Trump designating them terrorist networks was to unleash these capabilities to be used here. But what we have repeatedly heard from former federal prosecutors who have dealt with organized or white collar crime is that it is a laborious endeavor, and very often they will sit on their indictments until they have unraveled as much of it as they could.

Also keep this in mind - they probably don’t have legal jurisdiction to pick up two guys sitting around their basement, and deciding to go down and do a bit of looting and burning. At a base level, they essentially require interstate commerce or the crossing of state lines for jurisdiction. Drive from Madison to Minneapolis to riot? Federal crime. Drive from Madison to Kenosha for the same reason? Not a federal crime - unless, of course, they try to burn down the federal courthouse (etc).

I think that the feds are working on indictments, but are doing it slowly and methodically, which is their usual practice. Right now, I don’t expect indictments to be unsealed until after the election. But if Trump does lose, I do expect the unsealing before the end of lame duck period, based on a calculation that a Biden/(esp)Harris Administration would immediately terminate and purge the entire investigation.

I firmly believe these 'grass roots' protests were never grassroots. They were carefully planned and organized by big money. Somewhere in Europe there's a crazy wall with push pins and skeins of yarn connecting everyone involved.

Why is the mostly peaceful meme important?

Because the First Amendment only guarantees the right to "peaceful assembly". I know it is stupid, but the MSM and particularly CNN cannot stop carrying water for BLM, Antifa, and the Democrat Party.

Real story. There is a fire station next door to the subdivision I just bought, and that we live By in this half the year. There is a USFS Fire Danger sign by the fire station. About 10 years ago, I got a picture of the Fire Danger sign showing “Low” danger, but with flames shooting out around the sign. Turns out though, that if you zoom out, you could see that there was a car on fire in the parking lot, that the volunteer fire fighters were using to practice their skills. They picked a time when the Fire Danger was Low, in case the fire got out of hand. Still, one of my better photos.
