I thought that it was funny. Saw a picture of him with his face mask. Why is it any worse than much of what we have seen over the last 4-5 months? Somehow bandanas or disposable masks worn for days are acceptable, and McAfee’s thong mask is not? I think what he was doing had the advantage of being somewhat rational. I am in the unenviable position of having to purchase women’s underwear at times. (Actually bought two packages this last month, since sizing of such is beyond me). Thongs aren’t any pricier. And that puts them cheaper than many, if not most, of the cloth masks on the market, and even, for awhile, disposable masks.

For much of the country, it seems to me that the primary purpose of the masking is virtue signaling combined with thwarting of facial recognition. And the timing of the masking requirements (much more aggressively enforced with Democrat governors, than Republican ones, even here in rural MT where it is ridiculous) is still suspicious, starting right before the riots by AntiFA, whose masks were, and continue to be, part of their uniforms. Last summer, their masking made their attempts at anonymity, and foiling facial recognition, obvious. Not so as much this year, as our government masters require the rest of us to join them in wearing masks. The timing just seems too convenient - politicians of the same political party that are protecting and not cracking down on Marxist AntiFA rioters, are also the most zealous about masking requirements.

(Okay. I will admit to bias here. Dem Governor Bullock, running now for Senator, here in MT, imposed an idiotic masking requirement - masking is required in counties with 4 or more active COCID-19 cases, regardless of county population, and, thus infection rate. The result was that, in a county with a population density of maybe 2 people per square mile, we had to mask indoors in public when the infection rate hit 1/2,500 residents. No one died, even the 80 year old, and we are now clean and maskless again, likely with minimal help from Bullock’s masking requirements).; 8/13/20, 8:34 AM

I usually watch ID on the crime shows but saw the ads for that thing and did not watch. About the only TV I watch is what we call "The Murder Channel" and Wednesday night usually is about surveillance cameras solving crimes. Too bad.; 8/13/20, 9:07 AM
