Sign posted in my neighborhood tells white people we "don't get to criticize" the choice of protesters to resort to rioting.

It's "white privilege," we are told, to express a desire for order and security:

IMG_3630

A second sign attempts to convince us to abolish the police because they "uphold an inherently racist system" and "protect whiteness and capitalism":

IMG_3628

ADDED: I anticipate that my post title will be criticized on the ground that there were a lot of peaceful protesters and we don't know whether any of them participated in anything that can properly be called "rioting." I want to keep the facts straight, and I want to know the facts. I agree that that those who broke windows and looted shops may have been an entirely different set of people from the people who were there to protest police brutality. I await the news reports and investigations that can bring these facts to light. I keep looking!

But that post title is just telling you what the sign says! It's one of the many problems with the sign. Whoever wrote that sign made no effort to separate the peaceful protesters from the rioters. It tells me to shut up about any objection I might have to the rioting because those in the oppressed group get to choose how to fight their oppression. This implies that the form of protest chosen was, in fact, theft and vandalism, and white people are not even allowed to criticize this expression.

I have to agree that these protests have not improved my opinion of White people, at least not the ones bitching about problems they have no solutions to, and attacking the institutions they depend on most. They just look stupid - stupid White people .

Yet another arrest in the Nashville Courthouse arson case.

Jesse Lee Clark arrested on charges of arson, vandalism in courthouse damage. Police say he broke out the windows of first-floor offices and helped Wesley Somers, who was the first arrested in the case, light materials on fire.

Wesley Somers is the Three Percenter who was arrested in the arson of the Nashville Courthouse.

White supremacists want the same things the rioters do, at least the ones not just in it for free stuff. They're all working together to bring about more lawlessness and chaos. The white supremacists don't have the numbers to do anything on their own. The left is doing all the work for them, and I bet they laugh with that Soros-Nazi-collaborator laugh, like Dr Evil every time they see it all working. I'm against all of them, Left, Right, Black or White.

Also Royal ass Inga:
Boogaloo Bois, who nobody thinks exists but become a useful foil, should be believed.

Think about that.
It (shim?) thinks no Boogaloo Boi would lie.

Meanwhile, Lefties lie all the damned time.
And a few arrested Pro-fascist types lied about their political leanings.
SOP for the Leftist Collectivists who want a revolution.

I hope the riots bring you what you deserve.

A third white guy arrested in Nashville. He looks like he could be related to Jim Carrey. So what group is he with? Is he an Antifa? Or?

MNPD make another arrest in connection to attack on Historic Courthouse. NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Metro Nashville Police have arrested another person accused of damaging the Historic Courthouse and a Metro police car during Saturday's protests.

Police say 25-year-old Nicholas Barrett has been arrested and charged with aggravated riot and vandalism. Barrett allegedly used a skateboard to break windows.

He also threw a skateboard at a marked patrol car near the intersection of 2nd Ave. and Commerce Street, damaging the driver's side.

I bet we will read about every single right wing trouble maker. Every. single. one. It will be the same one-sided reporting effort we get with regard to people killed by cops who happen to be White or Black, or the reporting of gun use that kill versus save lives. The one that happens least often will get 100% coverage. It really is the root cause of this whole uprising. It is caused by misinformation, bad reporting, and lies, which is also why it cannot be fixed by this movement. They have the problem wrong.

If the police are abolished who gets access to the armories, MRAPS, drones and helicopters? The new Jacobins would likely claim and seize those assets quickly and then the "othered" people in the suburbs and eventually the rural areas would have no protection from the mob. At least the cops have no tactical nukes, right?

Three, count'em, right-leaning Boogaloo Bois, were caught redhanded in Vegas with Molotov Cocktail mix. Zero leftist Antifas showed up in Klamath Falls, OR. Whatever happened to all the "Unite the Right" groups assembled in Charlottesville by the Alt-Right?

These included Neo-Nazis from the National Socialist Movement (NSM), Vanguard America, and Traditionalist Worker Party (TWP); Klan members from the Rebel Brigade Knights, Global Crusader Knights, Confederate White Knights, and Knights Party; racist skinheads from the Hammerskins, Crew 38, and the Blood & Honour Social Club; neo-Confederates from the League of the South (LoS), Identity Dixie, and the Hiwaymen; Christian Identity adherents from Christogenea; Odinists from the Asatru Folk Assembly; and many others.

Also present were a variety of “media” entities, as well as armed paramilitary groups connected to the anti-government militia movement. They have since claimed they attended the rally to confront left-wing activists -- not in support of the white supremacists.

In my estimation the 4Chan site has successfully put these rightest groups into the background using QAnon and Deep State conspiracy theory but their cover came undone in Minneapolis. Trump hasn't helped because he is thoroughly convinced that he needs manufactured schemes to follow. So he has raised the status of American Antifas to "terrorist" status but the FBI hasn't found them associated with violence and property damage during these national protests.

Our president needs to discover what the "Take Care" clause in Article II of the Constitution is and what he is required to do. Gassing protestors to clear an area for a photo-op is not covered in Article II nor is the use of military might against U.S civilians.

Hell, you might read about every single one thanks to Inga. It helps to remember that such obsequious tactics aren't new.

One can take the slobbering over the Mueller Gestapo (or declaring that white supremacists being responsible for all the broken glass in NYC) at face value, but together they show a very ugly portrait of a retired nurse deliberately using fascist tactics to advance the Democratic agenda.

I'm actually impressed at the practical use of history. Good job, She-Wolf Inga.

Conserve Liberty: While you are drumming up people who might sue somebody for one reason or another, Why don't you find someone to sue the California food delivery company who has different rates for restaurants based on race of owner (black owned restaurants get free delivery).

My dear man,

Tactics? Advancing Democratic Agenda? LOL, you give me far too much credit. I was mostly refuting Yancy Wards idiotic comment. The same Yancy Ward that said only 7,500 tops would die of Covid.

I just love watching Inga trying her best to slither away now. It has been 10 days- not a single Boogooloo has been identified by anyone rioting or looting. The best anyone has come up with is a few heavily armed white men guarding other peoples' property since the police and their Democrat masters won't do their jobs.

Inga - now please do all of the leftists, like the two leftists lawyers arrested in NYC for fire bombing the police car with the four police persons in it. How about it? You seem to have all the time and resources available. You could document the hundreds arrested and let us know what happened to all of them.

And could you also detail the nine un-armed black persons and the 13 un-armed white persons killed by the police in 2019 in the US? Could you include the white guy killed by the popo just about a week before Mr. Floyd?

I mean its only right that you crusade for ALL the downtrodden.

Is it rational to think that every protestor was ok with the rioting, looting and arson? You seriously think that thousands of protestors were indifferent or even ok with it?

Can you point me to a link to video of any high profile protesters who have gone on TV and said, “To those rioting or looting: please don’t. You’re not helping.”? If you can point me to a decent example of that, then I’ll accept your premise.

The reality is that it’s not happening. By their silence, they’re condoning the violence. Or deep down they really do feel as though it’s justified.

Inga, I might be annoyed that "the boogaloos are getting arrested" is equivalent to the historical "look at these Jews convicted for Kristallnacht rioting," but I'm more annoyed that conservatives are generally falling right into your trap. Of COURSE white people were going to be scapegoated for black rioting: it's public policy now, and only conservatives are naive enough to believe otherwise.

Laughing my ass off at you, Inga. Not a single shred of evidence that any of those arrests described in your links are right wing- not a single shred. You have to prove they are right wing- an assertion by you or the story writers won't cut it. For all I can tell from all those links, those guys are left-wing protestors. Prove me wrong with actual evidence.

Methinks they doth protest too much. Ignoring inconvenient topics to advance a different agenda.

Oh, I googled all of it, Inga. Here is the summary of all that you linked to- white guys were arrested, other people with obvious biases claimed these guys were right wingers. That is it in its totality. Progressives like you claiming these people are right wing isn't evidence at all.

Hey Inga- the left wouldn't possibly railroad someone for a crime they didn't commit, right? And if you rely on Google to give you honest search results, I suggest you parallel your Google searches to DuckDuckGo using Chrome and see what search results they get using the same platform. Google has an agenda, just like you do.

"What is the alternative to the police?"

Why ya gotta be so binary? (as my kid would often say.)

Instead of alternative to the police, how aboutin addition to the police? Something like a Rapid Response Social Workers Department. Here in Madison, we already have the police mostly serving as social workers. That's too much to ask of them.

So, for example: an enraged young adult family member is looming over elderly you, yelling in your ear at 130 dBA because he's not getting the attention from you he feels he deserves. Used to be you had no alternative to calling 911 which would only lead to cops at the door, a police report. A real mess.

In the future, you would just call 119 and a SWAT team of social workers is at your door in minutes, applying cups of warm milk, praxis and oodles of empathy all around.

See the difference?

This is my belief. Law Enforcement Officers need to be replaced in general with Peace Officers.

When the Peace Officers come everyone pipes down and talks. They are unarmed. They always have cameras on. They are fired if their camera turns off. They take notes. They tell people when to show up at court.

The only crime with a death penalty is attacking a Peace Officer.

And everyone knows if they mess with a Peace Officer then an overwhelming number of armed angry Law Enforcement Officers will show up and put everyone in the area in jail until things are sorted out.

In a country of 325 million there were 400 or so people killed by police last year. Of these about 17 last year were unarmed black men. In what world is that genocide? Most of those killed by police were shooting at the police. The calls to eliminate police depts are insane. Do they really want anarchy? To look like Mogadishu with war lords doing open battle with each other? Because that is what happens. Do you want young black men to not go to jail? Get them out of gangs and in school. What it seems these people are asking for is that black criminals not be arrested.

What about the law-abiding people oppressed by the rioters?

Does that mean the rioters are part of the problem?

Oh wait, maybe it has to "systemic" or it doesn't count? "Local" oppression is OK?

The default position for all the usual suspects, esp. Inga and gadfly is to simply take on faith that they are lying. You'll never be wrong. Why do they lie? I'll be generous and say; a lack of intelectual curiosity.

The three way conceptualization here is ludicrous That is, left totalitarians, right totalitarians, peaceful protesters. In fact, while all three may be present and distinct in some way, the only force driving this madness is the ideological framing in the messages Ann found posted in her neighborhood. It is this that ALL the protestors are enabling, whatever their personal proclivities. It is this that is in the saddle. And what is in the saddle is clearly a leftwing hyper-intersectional ideology that brooks no challenge at all. If bugaloo rightists and ordinary protestors are participating, they are doing so for what is on those posted signs. And as for ordinary protestors, one has to ask them, protest about what, given the trivial nature of the police problem compared to the actual problems facing blacks. Protestors, what is up in Ann's neighborhood is what is riding you, you are not riding it.
