"On 'Morning Joe,' they are talking about coronavirus all the time again."

I said, after listening to the show on the car radio in 2 4-minute stretches on the way out and back from the sunrise run.

"What does that tell you?" Meade asks.

"It says the ratings came in."

After a lengthy hiatus, I repeatedly attempted to watch Scar'bro and his band of merry flamethrowers. It is unwatchable.

President Trump is planning to have rallies again. I think that's why.

Heaven forbid they talk about Seattle, or the recent destruction done to minority communities

It says they're in the 'we have to prevent Joe Biden from making public appearances and we have to prevent Donald Trump from getting his huge campaign crowds' phase.

The Covid thing is not going to go over as easily this time. Too many actual facts that don't support the original 'science'. Damn...that science stuff is hard to keep under cover.

Floyd's little brother describes the anguish he felt on seeing his big brother killed in Minneapolis. (America in the morning or some such radio show just now).

Apparently feelings are still big in radio.

A lot of news clips of people demanding in black accents, apparently to make black people seem exceptional dumb. We're dangerous and stupid and you'd better comply.

That's the ratings game. White lady fear.

Obama differs from the others in seeming to assume that the audience is stupid, rather than being stupid himself. He's just there to assure you that the official government supports the enemy.

So far there's no talk of good character being a solution.

They can't talk about the destruction and hate the left is spewing all over the country, because THAT doesn't fit their agendas...but Trump is thinking of RALLYING again....Stay in your houses...The Rona will get you!!! What a freaking joke. If you aren't really awake...go back to sleep while your country gets burned down.

All news is just depressing bullshit right now, about authoritarian tyrants locking down and depressing economies and putting millions out of work and driving up the debt, and then sensationalizing a death and the resulting riots, thugs, and anarchists, encouraging race riots, dividing the nation every day 24x7.

Activist idiots driving our future into the ground with genius plans to hand over control of big cities to gangs and mobs. Coming soon to a suburb near you.

Meanwhile our local “leaders” — but not really — miss every opportunity to clamp down and re-establish civilization because they see political opportunity and see no issue with sowing chaos and destruction to grow their power.

Worse, there are no diversions (basball, live music, bars and restaurants, etc) to provide a tiny slice of comfort and distract us from all this conflict and constant rage. Social media just amplifies it.

I need all of this to end.

Joe and Mika live in my town. I'll BOLO to see if they're wearing masks when they go out.

THEOLDMAN

One local Karen posted on FB how she went to Home Depot and was shocked to see how many employees are not wearing masks. Bwahaha. This is Florida, we don't do fear here. Not even with hurricanes.

Others may disagree, but this last few months all seems so manufactured for political effect to me.

And oh, hey look, Trump’s poll numbers fell suddenly — because people in polls prefer riots and looting in the inner cities to record low black unemployment?!

I strongly disagree! It's the last few YEARS that have been produced by left wing think tanks and directed by left oriented media.

here's a Fun Thought!
what would happen if: a bunch of armed people occupied Madison and set up a
Capitol
Hill
Anti-lockdown
Zone

Would your cops just shoot them; or would they call in the Wisconsin Air National Guard, and Bomb them?

These One World Governance guys are losing the future to a has been nation state that they once thought was kaput under Obama+Hillary’s 16 year plan. So Joe and Mika are in a deep mourning funk seeing their Impeachment + Pandemic+ nationwide Antifa riots all failures.

You’re not the only one who sees it that way.

Cynicism mixed with skepticism are the two best tools for evaluating all of 2020.

I thought for a minute you were describing the Mayor of Chicago and the governor of Illinois; there is a male female duo to make Mika and Joe look smart..

There was a reason civic leaders provided bread and circuses. If you don't entertain people they will entertain themselves. Cosplay anyone?

Yep. The gyroscopic forces of the backpedal and spin on defund the police will, with any luck, splinter the left and send large parts of their coalition back to sanity.

Althouse is looking at ratings?

Get ready for Palin posts.

It says Trump is going to start rallying again.

And that "Defund the Police" means electoral defeat in a landslide.
I think we could see pickups in the Senate for Republicans.
And the House will flip back.

Morning Joe is a political operative show and the my know what's coming.
But they lost control of this particular golem.

They're counting the bodies twice, and thrice. This is not their kind of administration.

I would have said "polls", not "ratings", but point very well taken.
